Please can those concerned email anything to admin@doglost.co.uk and not on a public forum. These issues will be addressed later..at the moment admin is busy with sightings and missing dogs and does not have the time to monitor.

Sadly The report button will have to be dis-abled in the next few minutes by our techie as impossible to run a site for missing dogs with constant reports coming in to admin.

I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, Max enjoyed a lovely dinner, I had bought him a new bed the day he was stolen but he got to enjoy it yesterday. I would like to ask why the message I sent which was subsequently posted by Gino has suddenly disappeared of the screen. Could someone please explain.

Saw the article in The News and came to comment.
Couldn't find him on the Lost page... where was Max??
Certainly didn't expect such good news as this and to find him in the BLUE!
Welcome home Max ♥

I'm just so pleased and relieved to be reading this, I was so worried about Max, not least because of the area he had been sighted in. Welcome home Sweet Max enjoy your steak and sausages! xx

"I would like to inform you that Max our Boxer has now been re-united with our family. I would like to say a very, very special and heartfelt Thank you to Jenny and Tiga who were as instrumental in Max's recovery as The News were.
Jenny gave up her time at a moments notice together with Tiga, and we tracked Max for a number of hours, making it possible to pinpoint a particular building in Leigh Park, Hampshire and giving us a definite bearing as to where Max was. This prompted me, on Jenny's advice, to make Max very hot property, so I contacted The New in Portsmouth who ran the full story this morning with a full colour Photograph.
Approximately an hour ago we received a call from the Chichester Dog Warden, because Max had been handed in to a local Vets.
I will hasten to add that Max was bathed and very well groomed, certainly not the looks of a dog who had been wondering the streets for the last two weeks. I would once again thank Jenny and Tiga (especially Tiga with that fantastic Beagle nose of his, because it's thanks to him, we have been reunited with our Maxie).

I would also like to thank everyone from Dog Lost who spread the word and kept in constant touch. It was only a matter of time before he was returned to us, but I'm delighted to say it was sooner rather than later, and my Teddy Bear is in for a very Special Welcome Home meal this evening (Steak and Sausages - his favorite).

Thank you for all your help and support.
Regards

have emailed asking for more information of this especially the sighting. was it def. Max or just a boxer being walked so need to check and make sure ,
LindaT
Hope Max is found soon, is there any chance that cctv can spot him on the way to the park, if this sighting is correct?

Any news on dear Max? xx
Vixster
Good Morning Folks,

It would seem that Max has been sighted being walked in the Riders Lane/Dunsbury Way area of Leigh Park, could anyone who has a dog who walks in that area please keep an eye out for him ... and thank you all for your continued help
Unknown

DogLostRavenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
I take it that Max isn't running loose, so I will keep an eye out for him being walked in the locality. I do so hope that this is resolved for you very soon xx
Ratel
Where do we start?
Vixster
Good Morning Folks, Thank you for all your continued support, we think Max has been sighted but are waiting for Police Info, will keep you posted about news ... Please continue to look our for our boy, he sorely missed and we just want him home. Thank you all.
LindaT
Any news yet on Max`s whereabouts? Have the Police got any further with their enquiries? I hope whoever has Max is looking after him, poor lad :-(
Ratel
Good to have the beagles on board, Linda! I must admit I too had wondered whether the possible culprit might be known to the owners.
Linda Tanner
We live in Chidham so are actively looking around Chidham, Hambrook, Bosham etc. when we walk our beagles. If there are any clues to help narrow it down or direct us to look somewhere else, please let us know. You seem so certain he's been stolen, do you have a suspect in mind and if so, do you have any idea where they live? We'll make sure all our neighbours and dog walking friends are aware and hope there's some good news soon. Linda & Steve at Wagtails

I have shared with Doglost FB page & Twitter. Hope Max is safely back home soon. X
LindaT
Shared on Lincolnshire Essex and Trent Boxer Rescue members forum and asked to spread the word. I do hope Max is located very quickly,he will be very confused, what an awful situation.
Ratel
Clearly you have been busy spreading the word, Vixster, so we must just wait for a clue/sighting. Strange to steal an elderly dog but, as we all know on this site, there are plenty of weird folk about. Poor Max, he must be so confused.

I have shared Max on some Chi pages. I do so hope you find him soon xx

Oh dear. Is there any cctv that may have picked this up? Is it just the one business or are there several xx
Vixster
Yes, the Police, Gypsy Liaison Officer for West Sussex, Anibase (Microchip people), it is also posted on Pets Located, I work for Hampshire County Council and it is on their internal Database, I have also made the Dog Warden aware as well as Chichester City Council, Spotted Portsmouth, Facebook, I have also placed a notice on the Royal Society for Vetenary Surgeons, I am also waiting to post a notice on the Streetlife Website, and we have put up posters as well. I'm hoping we have covered everything, I think we just need to wait now and hope that the person who took him will have a conscience and hand him in (please god!)
Ratel
Stolen? Oh my, he could be anywhere then! Have you any clues, like who visited the workshop on that day? Do the Police know?
Vixster
He was actually stolen from my Partner's Garage Workshop, his workshop is a Brook Farm in Hambrook.
Ratel
Is he missing from home? Please state where he was last seen so we can make a start.
