- Other Info wandering in blackburn hospital grounds with no collar,,it looked frightened with a possible foot injury? It would not let me catch it and eventually I lost track of the little dog.

- I'm not in your area Eliza, but if I was you and was worried about this little dog you saw then I would contact a local dog rescue and ask them if they can help in any way. If you think it might be on this spare land, then can you ask the hospital security guards if it's hospital land and whether you can access it to check? They might help you. Have you a local paper or a Facebook page where you can post details of the dog in case someone is looking for it?

- I had another walk around the hospital grounds yesterday. A long shot, I know! I heard a couple of barks coming from the unused land behind the main car park. I was not sure if I could access or whether it was private property. Not sure what can be done?

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
