- Yippee!!! Been thinking about you and Polly all night! Couldnlt get on here until now. I am so glad you have her. Well done! Don't worry re her running away from you - dogs do that often when lost. They need time to figure out who you are. Their survival instincts kick in and they run before they think! She'll be fine now. Well done indeed. You got your girl! Big kisses from us at DogLosr for Polly! XXX Fantastic news! xxx

- If she likes squeeky toys take one with you to see if that interests her. Squeek as you walk. Good luck, little monkey

- Polly is definitely at the racecourse. Have been within approx 80 yds of her but she would not come when called and ran off. Had her in sight for about 45 mins but could not coax her to us. Have left the racecourse now to give her a time to calm down

- Helpers needed to search and poster. Do NOT chase, as she may be in survival mode, we can't risk her running at this location. If you see her, watch and call owner. Often the best way is to just sit at one location and wait. One person could sit at the pub and another at the raceourse etc. For as many hours as it takes to see her. Stock up on supplies so you don't have to move, and smelly food & water to entice Polly. Remember, gently does it. Patience pays off. x

- Which side is the home side? You need to scent on the home side as per email instructions sent to owner. You need to keep her on that side by leaving food, water, bedding, old blanket from home or owner's old jumper. Owner must do scenting on that half. Lots of it. Polly will keep going round as this is her triangle route now. Once she smells owner's scent she should stay there or thereabouts. If anyone sees Polly, please do not shout her name as she may be in suvival mode and will run. Its too dangerous. Only the owner or people she knows can call her, but even then, do NOT shout. If you see her do NOT chase, just watch. You can try crouching down and coaxing with food, let her come to you. Do NOT try to catch her - her safety is paramount. If she lets you stroke her, then okay, but she is probably running scared. Due to the dual carriageway, we have to be careful she is not frightened off. She may even run from owner - as she won't necessarily know its him until she has time to process. JDWEAST please continue to post here. Thank you. You need to set up a feeding station in a safe location e.g. the pub or racecourse. Leave food twice a day, at the same time, every day. She will then return. Once she is doing this, if she doesn't come to owner, we have ways of catching her without chasing. x

- I have been out today helping Steve look for Polly. It's a big area to cover so if anyone reading this can come and look for her tomorrow it would be a great help. Although Polly is staying between the racecourse and the pub there is a dual carriage way in between them,so she needs to be found asap.

- Polly was seen again today at around 7.45pm at the racecourse - the security guards were trying to get her but yet again she eluded everybody. She seems to be staying in the same areas - between the racecourse and the dog and partridge pub. Thanks to everybody for there help, messages and sighting information - it's so appreciated.

- Steve, use the pub as a base. That is a food supply for her. Get the owners on side and leave something of yours nearby in a safe place, like old jumper or blanket and do the scenting. It will help her stay there. But be careful and do it away from roads! Hopefully the pub will see her and call you! You need her away from strangers at the pub too, so maybe a sfae garden in the pub where everyone can see and next to posters! x

- On wednesday morning I had to brake hard to avoid hitting a black cockerpoo, I think she had a red collar on? about 8.10 am I was headed in the Chelmsford direction on Church Rd Black Notley. She ran out of Buck Hill I think & onto Church Road and headed towards Black Notley village. I stopped my car and ran after her but lost sight of her. I drove onto Witham Rd and back round to church Rd but couldn't see her. I worried about her all day. I hope she is found, I stopped as I have 4 dogs and would be out of my mind if one of them was lost. A guy on buck Hill had also stopped and said she ran out of a house there?
