- If I have offended anyone, I am sorry. I tried to explain the situation re the fees & was cut off. The owner needs to speak to the dog warden, & they will confirm how much is owing, he doesn't need to wait until Thursday to speak to the person at the NAWT.
- 2014-08-13 16:16 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- I would like to say, I reported the facts as they were told to me by NAWT. They are NOT my opinions or statements.
- 2014-08-13 08:06 Gino
- From the owners: I need to make you aware of some inaccurate and inflammatory comments made publicly by one of your volunteers on the ID record above. My father's dog is currently at the NAWT in Hayle in Cornwall. He met with the manager Louise on Sunday and is waiting for her to confirm the fees.
The comments made by xxxxx on the 11th August were therefore inaccurate as she has clearly stated that my father is refusing to pay the fees. xxxxx has also clearly stated that my father is unable and unwilling to keep his dog safe and quotes that the dog is a 'free spirit'. Again this is an inaccurate representation of the conversation that my father had with Louise at the NAWT in Hayle on Sunday. - 2014-08-12 19:12 Happiness yorkie lover xxx
- I'm shocked at this I would be jumping with joy that he was safe and would beg or borrow to get him home , I'm sorry and don't mean to offend but if that's the attitude of the owner then maybe this poor lad is better off being rehomed to a family that will care and look after him xxxx

- What a terrible shame that Humphreys owner has left it this way. Thankfully he's safe now at the kennels and it looks like little 'Chip' will have a bright future ahead, as I'm sure they'll find someone suitable to spoil him in his old age.
- 2014-08-11 16:01 JeanT
- Yes, that's more or less what I was told on Sunday, Max.

- Poor baby...home he is home very soon xx ...maybe someone can do a home visit to help owner keep Humphrey safe ...so stressful for them both...hope they are reunited soon xx
- 2014-08-10 13:26 JeanT
- He does sound a dear little chap, according to the dogs' home. But apparently he needs a fenced garden. He must be disturbed by his stay in the other kennels and now this place at Hayle.
- 2014-08-10 12:57 Sarah
- Looks a gorgeous little dog so hope all goes well. x

- I have spoken to Janey who registered the dog on her fathers behalf. Although Humphrey has been missing before, it has only been for a few days. Her father is going to NAWT today to hopefully pick him up. She will let me know when he has been collected

- Looks identical! Good spot Jeant!
- 2014-08-10 10:15 JeanT
- I got to their website by Googling NAWT Cornwall then to Hayle's website.
- 2014-08-10 09:53 JeanT
- The phone number at Hayle is 01736 756005. I'm sure it is Humphrey.
- 2014-08-10 09:52 Sarah
- I think this is the link to the dog JeanT mentioned - http://www.nawt.org.uk/rehoming/dogs/d264?position=0&list=5vwe7aR4GahQLDBcQocnT-23H65mtZ8zptXMlP6NRbQ Is that correct, JeanT?
- 2014-08-10 09:43 JeanT
- I think Humphrey is in the NAWT rescue at Hayle. Photo on their site. Just come in, looks identical.
- 2014-08-06 14:12 Tiana
- Just spoke with Owner. He frequents site where Humphrey went off regularly. Again advised to get as many posters up around Falmouth asap and toward Gyllvase, Swanpool etc. He may be trying to get home just 1.8 miles back towards Kimberley Park.
Anyone local to help please?
- 2014-08-03 13:32 JeanT
- Sorry, I've just looked again and the JR has a white strip between his eyes, so not the same dog I fear.
- 2014-08-03 13:23 JeanT
- There's a similar little older JR on St Francis Dog Rescue, under 'dogs for rehoming'.

- Can't help but feel the jack gone to reforming should be checked seems to much of a coincident to have 2. Female black and white jacks picked up at the same place within a week of each other couple of phone calls may clear it

- Made an appeal on Twitter for Humphrey, requester Postering xx hope this little man is home safe soon x
- 2014-07-31 17:22 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- The owner is sure of the date his dog went missing, so the one picked up is unlikely to have been Humphrey. If anyone is in the Falmouth area & can do some posters to help, that would be great, as his daughter who listed this for him, lives in Bristol

- Red Alert, I was off out after our discussion as I said but didn't expect to be so long, only just got in. Thanks for picking it up Max. Keeping fingers crossed for this little one.

- Have spoken to Janey, who registered this on behalf of her father. She is going to check the dates the dog went missing & i have given her the ref number of the one picked up at Pendennis Point on 30/6 just in case he has his dates wrong. Unfortunately, that dog has gone for rehoming, but they can obtain details of rehoming centre from dog warden team. The owner is not internet savvy & his daughter has just come back off holiday & registered it.

- I think the vets may be Rosemullion vets in Falmouth.
I will speak to owner & forward advice sheets - 2014-07-30 11:44 Red Alert
- Thank you Fergal's Servant this was the same information that I was able to find. Do you know the name of a big vets in that area as I also seem to recall a Facebook post of a JRT a couple of weeks ago but I'm sure this would have been picked up by the Dog Warden or owner
- 2014-07-30 11:20 Fergal - Area Volunteer - Cornwall
- The two picked up at Veryan on 17 July (Reunited 72030 & 72034) dropped off the list the following week, but the black & white was listed as female, possible they could have been mixed up.

- Over the last couple of weeks there have been 2 JRT that fit the description of Humphrey on the Council Dog Warden Register. I will check this further however it may be worth a telephone call to the dog warden 0300 1234 212
