She has been found, We know where she is, and are content with the current situation,thanks for asking.

So have Petlog released the name of the vet? Data protection act is to protect personal data and vets are a business not a person. Unfortunately they can not give the details of the people who have Treacle but they can name the vet. This would at least let Treacle's owner know where their dog is in the country! I hope the police help Treacles owners and she is returned home...it must be some comfort to know she is alive and safe.

I have sent an email direct to owners. As already said by Owl the vets and petlog as indeed we are have to follow the data protection law. Owner needs to report this as theft to police and ask they make contact to get these details.

Vets can't give out names or addresses of clients as this would contravene Data Protection Act. The police would need to investigate if the people who now have Treacle do not make contact.

If taken to the vet, surely Petlog can give you the vets name. If the "new" owners are registered with the very cant they tell you who they were?

As you have a CRN for the theft, go back to the police and tell them about this latest development. Also call Petlog and tell them you have had no call.

i had a call today that Treacle had been taken to a vets and scanned. The new 'owners' say they bought her 6 months ago and told pet log they wanted to update her details. Pet log called me and asked if Ii wanted this, and I said no! I agreed they could give these new people my details and pet log said the new people would call me this evening.
Now 10 o'clock and no call.....
What can I do now?
Pet log say they can't give me their details, do I go back to the police? Do I contact pet log again
. Anyone any ideas?

Some people may think this is ott and probably illegal but hay ho, can you set up one of those little spy cameras looking at one of the poster sites that keep being taken down?

It has now been confirmed that Treacle has been STOLEN. Police have issued a CRN & are investigating this.Please could everyone keep a look out for this little dog & call the police or Doglost or the number on the above poster with any information thank you.

It would be a good idea to put flyers through letter boxes of all houses in the area of siting. Maybe then a neighbour would make that important call.

Have spoken to Treacle's owner. Treacle has been potentially sighted on the day she went missing
(Mon 14th July) with a young boy & girl on the junction of Butler Road & Butler Avenue at about 7.30pm approx 10 minutes after she disappeared from her garden.
The next potential sighting was the following Wednesday 16th July,again, with a young boy outside one of the shops in Vaughan Road(this runs parallel to Butler Road) at about 5pm.
Posters have been put up & some ,particularly in this sighting area, have been taken down .
Please keep a look out for this young dog. I will put Treacle up on Facebook Doglost West London & request twitter.
