Contacted owner for an update Tai is still missing despite a lot of media coverage etc. They do have Tai's litter brother but are still hoping that Tai is reunited by being scanned. I have asked if they could monitor the site as helpers have been looking for him. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I really hope your darling baby boy is found I have one DDB of my own and am getting another a Christmas day. I can not start to imagine how me and my husband would cope never mind our kids if any thing happened to them. I have watched them both grow from been 1 day old but the low lifes who steal them cant see that. They cant see how we sit up all night wondering if they have had enough to eat wondering if they are cold or scared. No all they care about in some cases is money sometimes not even that they just want to keep it thems elves they just dont realise "IT IS NOT YOUR DOG TAKE IT HOME AND GO AND GET HELP." They get me so mad because half of them who keep them take them from a loving home and they dont realise that they cant even afford to feed them selves never mind a dog if they really did care about it they would leave it were is was in the first place. Sorry for rambling but things like this really upset me. Hope you find him safe and well that would make it a real christmas for all the family including Tai.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I was on my way home from work one evening about 19.30hrs cant remember the day but it was about 5 weeks ago I was on the tram from Manchester Victoria to Bury. The tram was packed out and after a couple of stops some scally looking bloke got on with a young dog that looked just like the one on the picture. The bloke stayed near the doors the whole time.It has been on my mind ever since because i was looking at this dog thinking it looked young i must have been staring and as i looked up at the bloke he was looking at me in a way that made me think he had stolen it dont know why but that came into my mind. All i can remember is that the dog had a fancy leather collar and that he got off the tram in whitefieldLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sad to see another young DDB taken. I really hope and pray he is found safe and well. All my thoughts are with you. Unfortunately I live right down in South East so feel helpless. Make him too hot to handle. They are not the commonest of breeds so fingers crossed some sensible person will come forward with some info. All the very best. I've just seen a young (less than a year definitely) chestnut coloured castrated (I'm fairly sure he's castrated) male Dogue de Bordeax dog in central Oxford (Tue lunchtime) with two 'youths', one black, one white, chav-types, earrings, baseball caps etc. Dog looked out of place with them. The white lad looked a bit druggie. The dog has blue eyes (perhaps they all do, I'm not familar with this breed) a white chest, the white is in a triangular shape, with the wide bit under the neck going down to a point and his nearside rear paw was slightly white, and front paws weren't white, but sort of flecked white by the claws. He was on a harness being pulled through the shoppers. He looked a bit anxious. Let's not beat about the bush here and sorry to anyone reading this who lives in the following areas of Oxford, but I would suggest that the youths come from the Barton/Blackbird Leys/Cowley area. Anybody lost one similar? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A very large pup was brought in to Rosedene dog home (west midlands) yesterday from a police station. Quite sure it is a Dogue de bordeux after seeing the pictures on here but it is down as a Neopolitan Mastiff. Worth phoning them. Rosedene - 01922 627013Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Do you know, this makes me sick to my stomach. The b*st*ards that steal puppies have just got no conscience and no heart or feelings whatsoever. Puppies are our babies and they cannot fend for themselves. They need looked after by someone who loves and cares about them, even more so when they have an illness. I despise these people I really do. How can anyone stoop so low. Lets make this baby too hot to handle!! Praying that Tai is home very soon. Stay safe until you are found sweetheart xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a cute little munchkin this puppy is, makes you want to give him a hug. Poor little boy having a heart condition that requires treatment, he really needs to be reunited with his family who will give him the love and care he requires to thrive. Fingers crossed that Tai is home very soonxxxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Has Tai been stolen after the recent celebrity dog knapping incident do you think? Certainly most people in and around the North West will now know what a Dogue de Bordeaux looks like and that they are not cheap. I so hope this little one is found safe and well but I suspect money will need to change hands first. Best of luck xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
