We believe he was taken as another cat went missing from the same road on the same day. we don't think this is a coincidence. The local paper ran the story twice for us but no information resulted. I have noticed that all cats missing from our area do not wear collars, don't know if this is significant.

good that he is neutered, as then he probably wont have gone looking for the ladies. I suggest you put something with his scent on, place in a clean container, and leave in the garden. Also put an item of clothing in with your scent on too, or the person who usuyally feeds him. Also put sardines/pilchards in his food bowl, tap it, and call his name. I believe a cats sense of smell is at least 12 times stronger than ours. Take DL advice, and pout small "Lost" posters through doors. Someone may have taken Dinx, and is feeding him. Keep us posted.

Sorry to see that DINX is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (70577)

  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
