Logan has a Facebook group "Find Logan" (https://www.facebook.com/Find-Logan-270754623111421/) and I see that there is mention of the dog for sale in the Chesterfield area in the Visitor Posts (with one photo). There is a recent comment on the post from Find Logan saying "Thanks everyone for your continued support in looking for Logan but this is not him unfortunately. Facial wise he is very like him, but the markings aren't."

Over the weekend there was a woman called Mel Inman trying to sell an all white dog like this with one brown ear & black nose - she was the Chesterfield area, Derbvyshire. Said it was 7-8 yrs old, selling it for £85, was selling it for a friend who had left the country...but on 10th June on her timeline she had reported same dog missing from her garden. When challenged she left the for sale group it was on and admin's have now taken it down..but I saved the 2 pics and her text if the owner of this dog wants to take a look. Can't see a way of of adding them here.

Please check a dog that is on the facebook page for Priory Vets - very similar looking tho can't see his ears properly so you need to rule him out.

On my FB page is an rspca number and post from a vet that stolen dogs have been receovered from an Essex travellers site but think last month. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Found-and-Lost-Pets-Worldwide/480886588611565. But I imagine they would have scanned.

I've just driven past some on the road from Durham to the Arnison centre and there were travellers. A woman was sat just outside a caravan with a dog that looked exactly like Logan. I know the policed was involved. I'm hoping this helps x

UPDATE ON YORKSHIRE SIGHTING

We received more information on Saturday regarding the possible sighting of Logan in Pontefract 3 weeks ago, with an address where the travellers are based 8 miles down the road in Kinsley. We passed this on to the police (obviously had to keep it quiet so the travellers wouldn't be alerted) who have kindly managed to finally gain access this morning but Logan was not there. These people are well known locally for stealing dogs & puppy farming. If they had him, it looks like he has been sold on now.

Hopefully it will just be a matter of time before he is spotted or scanned. This week has been horrendous for us waiting for news, and though it was a slim chance, we're devastated that he hasn't been found.

I just want to thank you all for your support & beg you all to please keep sharing, especially in Yorkshire, on any site you can find. Someone may have bought him not knowing he's missing. We can't think of anything else to do but keep looking, sharing & hoping xx

Logan's owner is still waiting for some feed back from the police regarding the possible Lochside caravan park, Forfar, Scotland sighting.

possible sighting at Lochside caravan park, Forfar, DD8 1BT, with couple in a motorhome, man never leaves motorhome, dog tied up outside & toilets there, never walked. sounds like Logan in description & going batty when dogs pass, but spotter said the dog was aggressive towards people & nipped a lady which DOES NOT sound like Logan so not sure. Spotter said she heard them say they bought it off a bloke, there were a lot of travellers around at the time, in the last 10 days.

These comments have been made on doglost North West group page.... This was posted on Sunday....... 'We've just had travellers turn up in our area tonight glossop Derbyshire not sure if they'd be the same ones but will share this post just in case it is and anyone notices..... and latest info is..... 'As far as I've heard they've moved on further into glossop now postcode area sk13 last thing I read last night they were around the area of Victoria street glossop.' COULD THESE BE THE SAME TRAVELLERS???

I emailed this further info, as instucted, to west yorks police 1st thing this morning, it doesn't appear that they have passed it on to Derbyshire though, I have asked person who saw them in Glossop to check when they can to see if they are still there but they have probably gone by now.

hya have you thought of adding a reward? Go onto the Travellers sites and ask for their help ..you arnt suggesting they have the dog but ask if you can leave a poster , making sure the reward is at the bottom , you never know word of mouth and all that .

Yorkshire Police have put Logan's lost poster on their website.

report of large amounts of travellers heading for Gloucestershire site

due to the way he disappeared so quickly and yet depite all the posters & publicity there hasn't been firm any sightings of him, we are starting to believe that he was picked up fairly soon after he went missing. there are travellers sites in the area, now we can't be sure that they took him, but it seems the most likely at this point. unfortunately this means he could be anywhere in the country by now.

have been contacted by a lady who passed 2.30-3pm yesterday, noticed 2 silvery caravans, wire mesh fence dog run with 2 kennels, couldnt see the dogs clearly. kiddis pink washing hanging outside, police aware & very helpful

We have reason to believe Logan was STOLEN and it is very likely that he is with Travellers who have just packed up and departed from WF8 4QD area. I cant go into anymore detail but Police have been informed and Logan's owners have travelled to the area. The group of travellers are believed to have had 2 dogs with them. They made makeshift kennels where they were sited from metal security fencing to keep the dogs in. One is believed to be Logan and the other was a full Chocolate Spaniel.

Please can we have alerts sent out to this area and surrounding areas... we do not know which direction they have travelled and could still be nearby.

Requesting bump and new alerts please. This is the Pontefract area near the A639

we phoned Deerness the day after Logan went missing and were told quite firmly that they hadn't one brought in matching his description, they only take dogs from Durham, if chip showed other, dog would be sent to gateshead. at no point was it suggested that we go for a look anyway. the photo on their site does look very like Logan, had to have a closer look myself but it isn't him. we are going this weekend tho to take a look for ourselves. dont know if they will have seen a pic of Logan so I will send link. thanks x

sorry to see logan isn't found yet. I am a bit concerned that no one went to see the dog at Deerness as chips can sometimes be missed or can migrate and don't scan. I'm hoping the women there saw a photo of Logan for her to say with complete certainty it wasn't Logan. if she didn't have a photo id I would go there and have a look and if they have rehomed this similar dog take photos with you and ask the staff. it isn't far at all from where he went missing to Deerness kennels and it does seem that he isn't around or in evidence so someone may have taken him in or he was the dog at deerness.

the dog at Deerness is not Logan, we rang them yesterday but the lady was quite firm that any dogs taken there would be scanned and if not from Durham would be sent to Gateshead. Logan's microchip is registered to Bryson's and they are aware he is missing so if anyone finds him & he's lost his collar, his chip would get him to them xx

His owners are still searching and have been postering and I have advised them to continue to do this this and also to scent in the area he was last seen. Also advised them to try and get media coverage
