Blue Cross for the area are on 02380 692894 and if not already, dog warden 02380 285446. I have read that the new forest wardens picke dup 329 strays in last year alone and only 196 were wearing a collar. Out of those only 28 had details on them. Jake is lucky not to be one of those, but worth a try if the microchip wasn't detected for some reason. Sue x

Nothing more alarming than when your dog doesn't return when you call them, must have been a terrible moment for Jake's family. Maybe this little terrier was following an interesting scent, must be quite a few in a forrest and got lost. Would be worth returnig to the place where he went missing just in case he makes his way back there. Good that he is tagged and chipped. Also poster round Liss Forrest as other dog walkers might spot himxxxx
