I've sent the poster to a doggie friend who lives in Canterbury Street. Riverside did look scant. Boys at grooming lady today so won't be down there, but Motney car park needs doing. Will carry some posters this week. What about Tesco? Are they open to having some up? .

OK, tonight I'm going to do another mailshot on this boy. I think we need to concentrate on the area Tigger was last seen in: I still won't be specific and say exactly where it is, but if the Medway Crew are still around and can help can we renew posters that are now looking tatty and concentrate for this week at least on the mid part of Canterbury Street, every road on both sides of it from Green Street up to Montgomery Street, if we can. It also looks like the KM have come up trumps and may be doing an article on Tigger (and we'll mention Belle too), just waiting on news on that. Am concerned that Tigger hasn't yet been to a vet (or, hopefully, we'd have been tipped off) and his skin condition and the lump which was due to be examined at the vet the day he was stolen may be causing him great distress. It's important he comes home, now.

I was at Motney Hill, rainham all afternoon with the boys and no yorkies being walked. I drove back via Woodlands Road to avoid Chatham town centre and no yorkie being walked there either. Tigger is at the top of my search list. We'll find him. xxx

Try KM again... say that it shows theft is endemic in Gillingham, write an email pleading for help and use the angle that the kids miss and need him - they need an angle to make it worthwhile printing (in their eyes)...we'll give quotes if they want... give it a try. Oh Mandie, so sorry you're getting the nasty type of calls - but always remember that for every sicko looking at your poster there are many many more genuine people also looking - and if the idiots who think it is funny to call you with digusting calls are as low as we think they are, they might just also know the lowlife that stole Tigger in the first place... so it's not all negative, although it's terribly hard to remember that when these jerks are calling you. He can't be far away now... surely. xxx

Hi Mandy, i live on Grange road i was the lady that left the message on your voicemail recommending doglost. I was postering for another dog the other day and i went over your posters with extra sellotape. I will put some up for Tigger tomorrow after work. I find it best to put the posters on lamp posts then wrap the tape all around them so the kids that are pulling them down can't do so quite so easily. The posters at the top of the park are the ones that are down the ones at the other end towards woodlands are still in tact. I am happy to help so please get in touch. The left hand walkway has been searched thoroughly and there is no dog there. There are also no posters so for someone to get home from Rainham to Gillingham, where there are posters is amazingly quick. This number is still to be passed to the police.

From Maidstone RSPCA. We are talking about our missing lurcher from ME7 on Radio 4 in a pre-recorded interview at the kennels. It was scheduled for Tuesday 29th but now might be brought forward to Friday 25th for more air time over weekend. What do you want us to say about Tigger and the rabbit. Also we are in the KM on Friday - do you want to be included. Need to know urgently on this one at 12 noon today is deadline.

Possibly relatively local then, unless he hid the car. A good majority of these sort of cases do end up in the dog being found nearby. I'm sure Tigger is near you. Great job, you guys, you're more helpful than the police are when pets go missing round here. Hoping to hear some good news soon. xx I've been to Chatham before, once, (live further away from Kent though), have you asked any local churches to take in a poster for their regulars to see? And also co-ops and supermarkets. A friend's black lab disappeared for two days - stolen from outside the co-op while the owner when in for only a minute, and they placed a poster inside and outside the store. He was returned by a very embarrassed looking lady who was not keen to stay!! Good to see you've covered many areas, don't give up, whoever the person is who has got your Tigger and rabbit, will probably know they're fighting a losing battle! They will not win. You've got too many persistant people up against them. Don't give up, Mandie, and helpers. You're doing great. Nikki.

Hi Mandie, are you still having trouble with posters being taken down? Any leads from the Police on who/why? None have been removed on the Island except one that must have blown away. What about the lead for the flat by the kebab shop? I'm wondering whether we are right to focus on that area or should we widen the search? I recall a Husky from Medway turned up somewhere like Hastings a few months back. Maybe we need to send the poster to more areas now...

Just caught up on what's been happening since Friday - Mandie I am so sorry they have taken your rabbit too, that's awful! How is your son coping? I postered St Mary's Island as agreed, I noticed 1 poster missing but would like to think it was just blown away rather than ripped down. I'll check again tonight and put some more up if necessary. I did the bus stops, post box and dog mess bins. I'm sure lots of parents on the Island will be taking their children to the Strand so it might help. Any news on the CCTV? Are you dealing with the local Police Community Support Officer? If not I'll find out who it is as I know a couple of them in Chatham. I'm at Youth Club in Luton tomorrow so I'll take some posters to show the young people and ask them to keep an eye out. We can't be far off now!

Just to let you know that I have spoken to someone who works at the PDSA Hospital on the Business Estate. Gillingham (family member so its who you know and not what you know!!!) He will keep a close eye out for Tigger and will talk to the other staff and vets there tomorrow. Will give him Police crime number if it would help. Dee, you can PM that to me. We handed in a Yorkie (that we found at Alexandra Avenue) on Tuesday the 15th of August (around 2pm) to Margetts & Associates. They took down our details and told us they would take care of it until a dog warden could pick it up. Could it be that a dog warden picked it up on the 17th?

Ok have now done black lion, part of high street, round by the nursery, down towards somerfield and up past what was vincents..lots of cars that had the misfortune of being parked there now have posters too. Then went over to Ingram Road. Interestingly Mandie all but two of your posters have been ripped down - that could mean that idiots are just being idiots or it could mean someone doesn't want the posters out there. I've replaced every single one and added many more. Gillingham are playing at home today so lots of people stopping and asking about Tigger - and thank you also to the people who beeped and stopped me by the Railway Crossing to ask for a poster to put up at Capstone Park.

Keep hoping to come on and see Tigger in the blue. I really feel for you Mandie but I'm so positive that Tigger is going to be home soon. At least, and I don't know how much consolitation this will be, you know that he is being looked after and that nothing bad has happened to him. But he needs to be home, he needs his medication and the only place he should be is safely at home with you. People know where Tigger is and they have got to do the right thing and come forward. Keep postering and pestering Mandie - you'll get him back I know you will xxx

Mandie - believe me renegade spirit was spot on with Rosie. She said she saw an underpass and asked if rosie had had a bad front paw at any time in her life. Dee walked the underpass in Gillingham and there was nothing so we just thought renegade spirit had got it wrong. cut a long story boring !! Rosie was at a home in Priestfield Road. It wasn't an underpass it was the football tunnel at the stadium that came through to renegade spirit and when rosie walked in after my husband picked her up she was limping on one of her front paws !!!! Amazing xx

You are doing all the right things Mandie, and it looks like there will be posters all across Medway by the end of the day which is just what we need. It has worked several times in the last few months with Medway dogs, it just takes 1 poster in the right place, one sighting and we'll all be on to it! Right fresh new morning and so fingers crossed for good news today. I'm in and out the office today down the coast and not near a computer all day so I won't be of much practical use but am on the mobile if anyone needs me... Mandie can you call all the local vets - go outside the Gillingham area in case someone picked him up when passing through town - also call Rainham and Chatham and Rochester police stations to check if they've had any reports in of found dogs. They don't check with each other so worth doing again.

It breaks my heart to think of all these poor dogs that are either stolen or go missing I didn't relise just how many there were untill I joined dog lost as a helper I find new dogs added to the list everyday all I can say is that your in the best place to find tigger the advice they give is 2nd to none and the support is wonderfull get out as many posters as you can local garages, shops, neighbours, the lot and keeps positive stay safe tigger and come home soonxxx

oops forgot to mention Tigger went missing from Elm Road. Has possibly been dumped as he was also snatched 2 weeks ago and dumped back. He need medication and is due to have a biopsy today to important to find this boy.

OK tigger is long coated at the front and shorter at the back. Sighting also at local school so have advised on scenting too. seems to be going over towards Canterbury St/Nelson Road if the sightings are right. Marshend - do you have a note of Molly's owners number - she's closeby and i'm sure will help.

Right ok then ..Have done an interview with kent messenger this morning re missing Pops, discussed Doglost and jayne and all the stolen and missing dogs, The person I am in contact with is a crime reporter. Now I have just spoken to her about this yorkie and whilst she is more interested in the theiving side of things have suggested that to pick up and not return is still stealing , Have given number of owner of yorkie to her perhaps if this little darling doesnt appear soon hopefully she will include this one in her article. Looks like I may have to hit the road again. Jayne ,i hope this reporter contacts you. I now have her email address and any stolen dogs will now be sent to her from this area,... I did warn her thet I will do it!! Chrisxx
