The black GSD found in Solihull in the last few days is not Solomon. Have spoken to his owner and the chip numbers do not match up. Owner was aware of the found one. Will share solomon again.

Just shared Solomon again as I look and think about him every day .
He is not mine but I feel for the owner.
Tried looking at the link cannot see it.
Solomon does not have any White on him at all

Have looked everyday since Solomon has been missing for him online whilst searching for Hemp and Tinker and others. His markings on his tongue do help cancel out some possibles which is useful rather getting hopes up. I haven't forgotten you Solomon honest. Maybe worth passing his details to GS rescue South as they seem to be getting them in from other areas and countries too. Their facebook page has a few black ones, in fact one who has a semi short coat but he doesn't have his mouth open to see if tongue shows markings. They are based in Hampshire.

There is a German Shepard been seen at the car wash near the roundabout and Browns cafe at Mundford. There was a post on Facebook, they said it was skinny and visited most days. Don't know colouring etc so messaged the sender to find out . I'll post on here when I know, if it is black I will phone owners.

I checked this one out in June with the Leigh Kennels where he was being kept. No mark on tongue and no chip. They said it was not Solomon, I think they said the owner had come for him.

Hi, me again, just spotted another handsome dog who looks like Solomon, he's on a website called German shepherd dog rescue , on the South east section page 2 and currently called Shadow, as in Surrey was picked up outside a travellers site, so presume he managed to escape, and brought in as a stray. Unfortunately only has one phot but he doesn't show his tongue. Maybe worth a look .

I also went to the kennels in Baldock (forgotten dogs need loving homes) to check on the dog called Midas. He turned out to be nothing like Solomon, despite the similarity in the photograph. Thank you merlinsmum.

Suffolk Dog Day is a fun dog show, that last year attracted about 8000 visitors. I'll be there and will ask permission to display posters at the different rings and entrances. It is not anything to do with being a rescue kennel, just a show put on in the grounds of Helmingham Hall. Perhaps you are thinking of West End kennes or Pampered Pets??

Just spoke to Lesley (Solomons owner)
They have been to see the pre loved dog below.
That is not him I am sorry to say.
Also the one found in Watton is not him either.
Lesley has not seen the one at Watton but he is to longer haired dog.
Please please please keep searching.
This dog has to be somewhere or with someone.
He has NOT been seen at all.

Have just looked on preloved and noticed on the third page in, after putting in German shepherd black In search on the site is a black German shepherd that has been on there forb11 days. Says it was a rescue vacs upto date 3 years old and not kc registered. Maybe worth having a look at as it's in Ipswich ! Hope it helps.

Solomons coat is short but could look like the found one after the weeks missing.

Dont think this is a match as this dog has brown tinges, but not my place to make that decision, so check out "forgotten dogs need loving homes" on facebook, an organisation who tries to find rescue spaces for unclaimed dogs. they have a young black gsd listed as Kona. Hope your boy is home soon with you.

Solomon is very Black.
Is it possible this I Solomon.
Just wondered as Solomon would not have been brushed for a while.
I have just found a Black dog bit far away.
Plus he has some Brown on him.
Maybe someone can match him with owner.

Hi Lorraine an everyone reading.
Lesley is as you can imagine upset about poor Solomon.
I have spoken to Lesley this evening and the paper has done a story on Solomon.
Were very kind to her plight.
There have been no sightings of him.
Lesley phoned the highways and rail track.
No Back dogs been reported there.
Solomon does not ever leave the grounds of the house EVER.
I have permission from Lesley to add her website here .
So you will know the correct location.

I was out in this area today it is very rural, the fields are high and to the east is the A140 main Ipswich to Norwich road. Without a sighting I would not know where to start. Maybe an advert in the local free paper or Diss Express would help.

Thornham is the area.
Apparently they walk him on the land directly near them.
Lesley Solomon's owner was very down after going to see a dog she hoped was her's.
Oh I wished I lived nears.

I have just spoken to Solomon's owner.
The found Black GSD below is not her dog.
Such a shame .
The lady is very upset as you can imagine.

Solomon is now believed to be stolen and the Police have been contacted.

There is a REWARD offered for Solomon's safe return.

Jackson went missing from home when when a door was left open. The owner has contacted the Dog Warden and will be contacting local vets today.
