female Cocker Spaniel type with very bad mange.
No micro-chip. Been used for breeding. - Looks between 2-5 years old.
Would be very difficult to identify I know. Shame no micro-chip.
Has a place in rescue after 7 days if not claimed. Could be a stolen dog?

Please check....2 dogs found on farming land in Chilla and taken to Bramblewood boarding kennals in Holsworthey ...01409254474....one all black and another golden....they have been seen by vets and are now safe xx

I see a report on FB that the IPCA in Ireland has seized 340 dogs and 11 horses from an illegal puppy farm (shame on these criminals) ....I noticed a few cocker spaniels so worth checking....have posted the full article to the CS group xx

Can you have a look at a red cocker in animal concern Cumbria website asshe has a full tail, and seems to be scared etc so wondered If this could be your girl, after all the trouble she's been through. Worth a look, hope it's her.

Hi, I don't want to waste your time, but just actually looking through preloved cocker spaniels for sale and on page 7 there is a golden cocker spaniel for sale. It says she is 2, but obviously people can lie about age.Saying that I don't know how old Poppy is. Sorry in advance to waste your time, but the advert says that she doesn't know about vaccinations...how can you own a dog and not know. Worth a look. I hope you find her. Best wishes Karen

Been looking through the pound for poundies saved dogs for another persons dog but saw a dog which has been called Rosa on page 49 in July 14 which had been saved and sent to rescue. Looks like your girl very much but does have full tail not sure if yours does. Worth a look anyway.

I have in the past posted the Charfield Garage on the main road and about 10 days ago I put a new poster up to reflect her new photo. I passed by yesterday and noticed it had been taken down! No one owning or working at the garage did this and they will now monitor. I mention this because maybe someone in the area does not want to draw attention to her being stolen? Can I suggest that if anyone is in the area can they help to re poster Charfield, WUE and surrounding areas and can someone add this update to Poppy's Facebook page on my behalf xx

Was so sure that the dog on dragons driving was poppy but after a 5 hour round trip it was not her. The dog we saw was with gypsies, had a very matted coat, bad teeth and was very nervous. I really home she goes to a good home.

Well done Dani....took them way too long. I am disappointed when I compare the support and positive attitude from other forces when fight against dog crime....dog crime comes from the least expected places and people sometimes....theft by finding is a criminal offence so if Poppy is being held then it time to hand her back ....we will never give up or rest until found ...Justice always prevails xx

A friend is helping search today in tortworth and has told me that a fish man said there was a sighting of a spaniel type dog at park hill car sales running loose 2 days ago. My husband is walking to the area now with our other dog. Could be nothing but worth a try.

Checked from 7am to 11am from where lost, crossing rail track roads and bridges through up to Frocester, passing into Box Rd on the way. Spoke to many dog walkers who will all look out for Poppy. The animal I sighted might have been Muntjac deer as there were a few in the fields this morning.
Have we got a Facebook page set up for Poppy....are the police aware of her disappearance? I think it might be wise to start this process if not already?x I will be postering some business areas on A38 from lower wick up to Cam ....I have told them about Poppy so at least they are now aware and will look out for her/ spread the news
Quite a few dog walkers this morning come regularly to from North Nibley and Wotton so may be worth catching some key places with Posters in both areas x

I took a look around Box Rd and the station, asking around but no further sightings. I travelled back through the lanes staying as close to the track as I could....I spoke with everyone in each vicinity covered including cyclists and dog walkers. I went back to the field I thought I saw an animal but nothing at 6.30pm so I will go back there early morning and again follow the tracks ....stay safe Poppy x

I read on a doglost site in America that a lady once found her dog by going to the place where she was sighted, laying down a coat with the owners scent on it, food and water and her dog tracked the scent back to the location and was found. I'm walking across the fields in Boxroad today, I will keep looking, a friend of mine lives in Slimbridge she is aware of Poppy and I will send a poster to the pub too.

Possible sighting at 6.30am on 1st may in a field on box rd, Cam. This is near the railway line that runs along the back of our house where she went missing. Could be heading toward slimbridge/Cambridge.

If there is a sighting, maybe you could think about contacting the K9search tracker dogs? I believe they need an actual sighting to start but would be worth having a look and contacting them. They have a website. http://www.k9searchdog.org/

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon looking around the area as well as handing out posters....spoke to quite a number of the locals on my journey including cyclists who will make sure posters are added to all local and community notice boards as well as Michealwood service station which is close by....some have dogs so they will look out for Poppy on walks. Can someone check and call Poppy from the fields opposite Furzewood farm.....I saw a brown animal run fast from the middle right side across to the back of the field but unsure what...forgot my binoculars!....it was not a rabbit or pheasant! I will have time again on Friday to have another search. Rail track are doing night work on track so might be worth letting them know. Lady with the horse thinks something is worrying her horse so she will be doing some night checks incase Poppy is close...but she says it might be the machinery Rakltrack are using
I will keep tweeting for Poppy in the meantime xx

Daisy was lost in Lower Wick which is between the Pepperpot and Tortworth estate if you look at google map ...you have M5 Michealwood Service Station on left side and there is also the train track on the right....stay safe Poppy...going up to poster and look later this afternoon....can call her by name or whistle x

poppy was lost in the lower wick area of dursley, she ran off with another dog, but the other dog returned home and poppy didnt, have sent advise sheet. owner is very pro-active and will be postering tomorrow... dog warden, vets, network rail and high ways have been rung....
