Just managed to reach Sandy's owner...they didn't realise the answering mchine wasn't working, so they're going to sort it out. Makes you realise its yet another thing to think about if there's a dog lost...check your own number every so often. :-(

Please lay the scent trails as advised by Dog Lost when you first contacted them - there is no doubt in my mind that that is how we got Ellie back after 5 very long nights!! The contents of your hoover bag are also very good for scent trails. Keep going back to the place she was last seen as well. All the very best of luck - Ellie and I are thinking of you

Thank you all for your comments. I am Sandy's sister in Yorkshire. Really hope we can find her or at least discover what happened to her. She was originally a rescue dog when we got her 16 yrs ago. She has an old dog sister at home who is also missing her. Once again thank you very much. Ann.

I have emailed North East Lincs Council Dog Wardens and the rescues in the area including Jay Gee Dog Sanctuary. Her owners should also contact North East Lincs Animal Rescue 01474 828477 and all local vets as she may be taken there. I so hope she is home soonx
