Such fantastic news, I'm so pleased for you, wonder if she has been down a hole for a while and has just managed to get out! At the end of the day it doesnt matter as she's home now and isnt the worse for it, which is the main thing :)

Beanie found !!!
Many thanks everyone

Thanks. I have now contacted the local Terrier Club and a very kind chap agreed to take his dogs down to the area and help with the search. Still no luck but I am really grateful for the help. I must admit my hope for a successful outcome is diminishing

Unfortunately I am too far away to help you NJ but is it possible that you could get a number of people together and arrange a search party of the area? By spreading out and moving together in a line (a bit like the police do when looking for evidence) you are more likely to cover a much bigger area without missing anything.

I am beginning to convince myself Beanie is stuck down a rabbit hole. The scrub ground behind the waterworks (which is fenced off) is littered with rabbit warrens. Beanie loves chasing rabbits and I fear she is now stuck. I have spent many hours searching, calling and listening but the area is so large.
