I am so pleased Rosie is home. The lady who came forward is a star. I have been following Bruce the blind dog who s owners don't want him back, what a difference there is in people

Just had a text from Peter, it is Rosie and she is back home with her mum and dad. Bless that lady who came forward, and shame on whoever picked her up and sold her.

You can send another photo to admin@doglost.co.uk with title "Rosie S35 additional photo" and someone will add it to the page. Can't do it myself, only have basic IT skills.

I have sent another photo of Rosie with her markings on to see if they think its Rosie they saw! We have had 314 shares now on Sheffield Online FB page!! Can we add the picture on here too? If so how can I do it? Or does Tom have to? Wx

I have managed to get Rosie on 'Sheffield Online' Facebook group, they have about 16,000 subscribers. Someone thinks they saw a similar dog with people and an older collie, the pup was covered in mud/wet etc at the woods on Chapel Rd, Burncross!! I don't know that area, but apparently a lot of people were around and giving it attention, hopefully someone will come forward if it's Rosie! Wx

I have been out for 5 hours today with a friend and my collie who runs all through the off track areas. We went to the area suggested, and the wood topside of the railway line. Like you say its full of brambles and difficult terrain, there are routes through the topside though. There are so many places for her to hide up in. We called out for her and hung around to see if we could hear her at all too. I'm afraid we didn't have any sighting at all. I am happy to take posters and flyers to help, if Peter can contact me, we can arrange to do this. I called in the shops in the village to ask and make them aware, leaving my to phone number if they hear anything, I'm sure all the shops would happily let posters be put up. Also Sylvia in the paper shop, is an avid animal lover. It would be worth asking if the paper boys could deliver flyers along with the papers!

Thank you Godber. Posters and house to house flyers are being done today. I went up with dog Wispa yesterday, and she got a scent which led us into the woods which are close to the estate from which she went missing, adjacent to the riverside path. We scrambled up into the steep woodland which goes up to the perimeter fence at the end of Clough Grove. Wispa who works by air scent found the best around there but could not pin it down further, though she was very keen to follow the riverside track right through to the industrial estate. I think those woods especially the part at back of Clough Grove need to be searched closely, and by fit people. I recommend gloves and bramble proof clothing. I am recovering from collar bone fracture and not really up to serious scrambling. Posters need to go along riverside walk and around industrial estate also.

I live in Oughtibridge, just back from wkend away. Have been sharing in all the agility and lost dog groups I can think of. I'm willing to help, can anyone update where posters have been put up and whether search party has been arranged, or if possible tracker dogs? I can be contacted on 07717 433733. Wendy
