Katie the fosterer has Sandy. She's one very stressed out dog but she is safe in Katie's car. A big thank you to everyone who has helped today. We really appreciate all your help!
Jeanette
She definately had no lead on. There was a dog lead in the middle of the main road near the Texeco garage in Stalybridge, where she was seen on her way to ridge hill / stamford park

OMG what good work team Sandy.....
AmyJo
One of the volunteers who has been out helping has confirmed that Sandy no longer appears to be trailing her sliplead.

Apart from this we have received no further update after the Egerton Street sighting
DogLostSelina - Area Co-ordinator - South Devon
Jeanette can you give us your exact route that you followed Sandy in the correct order including the Mossley Rd sighting please. We are trying to plot the sightings on a map and I've got in a bit of a tizz

I have got everything crossed for Sandy. She's giving every one a run for their money!!! Stay safe Sandy, hoping you are back home very soon. X
Well done to everyone who has gone to help, you are all Angels! X X
Jeanette
Also, when she was seen on Ridge Hill that is when she turned towards Stamford Park boating lake, all along Darnton rd and along Queens rd to Hurst / Cedar park, then she continued as per my last post. She does seem to keep to the right hand side and turn right a lot, so may end up back in Hurst !
Jeanette
She turned back from Hurst . I saw her go down the muddle of Whiteacre rd, turn off 3/4 way down, then through a gap between houses on Egerton St where I couldnt drive. She would then either head for the town center or back towards stalybridge / dukinfield. Each time I have approched her she has turned in the opposite direction. She was going at a steady pace for an old dog

AmyJo
6.13pm sightings around Hurst Cross area.
Cath
Will go out looking now. Will try Duki first and ring friend at Ridge Hill
Cath
which town hall? I assume dukinfield in which case a long way from Ridge Hill. Have a friend on Ridge hill - if its a definite I can ring her. She is an experienced dog owner
AmyJo
5.25pm See Ridgehill Housing Estate. Lady tried calling her Sandy looked around but didnt come to her.

Apparently there are some kids who have been trying to catch her which is probably freaking her out more.

Hope Street (SK16) is the foster home. The owners home is in Hyde (SK14)

Latest reported sighting Clarence Street.

The fosterer is out searching her mobile number is on the details above if anyone wanting to go out and help look wishes to contact Katie.
Cath
Just checked the A-Z - there isn't a Hope Street in Hyde but there is one in Dukinfield - right in the centre of the village only a few minutes away from Morrisons. If anybody is in the area they could ask around. I will go out shortly myself.
DogLostCJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator

Oldies Club volunteers have been contacting local dogs homes such as Tameside and MDH incase she gets taken to them. Trying to contact the DW have located an out of hours number. The owner hasnt died but they have severe dementia are in the home. We have left a message with someone at the house of the NOK to let them know and to get in touch as soon as they can.

Alerted by a member of oldies club. Dogs owner has died. In emergency foster care just over 5 miles from where bolted.Although elderly is still active.
It is possible this dog may make his way to home her remembers so need to find where this is then post areas from where lost to this point. alert vets as well.asked for alerts to go out plus requested twitter.ALSO inform neighbours of previous owner in case does make way home. hoping someone will up date road names so local helpers know where to search.
