digbysmum
Oh no, what a shame, but at least this lovely girl is safe. Hope she soon finds her new forever home xxx

Forest Lodge have apologised to me - the girl who said she had been rehomed had given incorrect information. The Jack Russell has been rehomed but this lovely girl still available, but she is definitely SAFE.
Their reply on Facebook here; "
Forest Lodge Kennels - Rescue & Rehoming Sorry that the information you were told was incorrect. The matter is being dealt with. She is still available for viewing. X"
Goldenfrodo
Good luck in your new home sweetheart xx

Chris63
Just read further down this beautiful dog has a new home yipeeee! X
Chris63
JulieB I don't have anything to do with Happyendingsrescue, I just sponsor them and I thought if someone got in contact with them perhaps they could help. Think we have crossed wires here! X
Chris63
JulieB has this dog found a forever home then? I was just recommending Happyendingsrescue as a short term alternative. So hope this dog can find a new home. X
Julie B
Chris63 - I wasn't meaning anything bad by mentioning facebook. I thought these dogs needed rescue spaces - I didn't realise you guys just rehomed them. I was under the impression that a rescue space was a sensible option. I totally agree that all of these dogs in the pound deserve new loving homes. I work with many rescues on facebook and we find many rescue spaces daily for the poor dogs in the pounds and then they are found new homes from there - thought I could have helped but seems you have it all in hand. Anyway, I am pleased that this gorgeous girl has her new forever home. x
Shelagh
Great news for this sweet little girl.

How about Happyendingsrescue in Faversham Shelagh. Chris and a Terry are fantastic and have a no kill policy. X
Chris63
I hope not Julie B, such a lovely dog deserves a loving home. X
Julie B
The dogs on here that are going to be pts if no rescue space is found .... are they also listed on facebook somewhere to try and find a space ? X

Paws xd for someone to rehome SOON
Nicky
Yes they told me that when I rang up once but I know it is definitely not true. This debate started because they had put to sleep a dog which had only been in their hands a short time. There was hardly time for an owner to find it before it was pts
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
I spoke to Forest Lodge regarding another dog recently & they said they don't pts if the dog is ok. Not quite sure really!
Chris63
Oh Nicky what a very sad story, breaks your heart, so hope the dogs there can be helped. X
mathers22

Seeks
Here on dogslost are 9 (8 still alive we hope) on deathrow from a place calling its self a rescue rehoming centre.....

I'm actually following not only many that are lost but many that are found too wondering what their outcome will be if not reunited :(Last edited: 2014-02-21 12:16:37 by Kinsally
