I'm still hanging on for news too Patlucky!
BigGSDPatlucky
I still have these two in my dogs I am following.
Hope one day we will find out
Nanni Byron
Me too Patlucky - I check on here every night, hoping for an update. So sad for these poor girls.
BigGSDPatlucky
this is so sad I still keep them in my followed dogs.
In hopes
wibble58
shocking & very sad. I really hope they didn't suffer the poor darlings. Run free now lovely girls. x
duffs54
Me too poor things xx
Nanni Byron
Surely there has been some news by now, it's been several weeks since these poor girls were found?
BigGSDPatlucky
What has happened with these two dog.
Has an owner/owners been found?
Unknown
Nanni Byron. I was wondering the same thing too.
Nanni Byron
Have their been any post mortem results for these two poor dogs yet, or news of owners?
digbysmum
I too think these two must have drowned - their coats appear to be quite sodden. Possibly left in those positions when the waters subsided? Would imagine they are farm dogs. So very sad .... xxx
BigGSDPatlucky
Just guessing really.
I do not live anywhere near so am not sure if it was near a road,
on a farm .
They would only be found when the water went down.
Maybe just maybe they were NOT placed like that.
Maybe they just ended up in that position.
It must be said they did stay together and that is love of two dogs.
I just think it was a terrible accident, just a shame if the owners are not found.
Unknown
Patlucky. Thanks for your comments. You are probably right about these two drowning, but who would have placed them there?
BigGSDPatlucky
I am 99% sure these two dogs did drown.
They would not be the only ones in al the floods we have had.
Only a few weeks ago a Black Labrador was found after floods went down.
The owner tried hard to save it that must be terrible.
I know they are devastated .
I do hope these get matched with owner/owners.
My guess would be the are from one home.
Maybe even a farm.
Any news please?
BBKM
Any news about these sweet girls :-( x
Unknown
Patlucky. I was goling to ask the same question.
BigGSDPatlucky
Any news on these girls did they drown?
Any owners found think these two are owned by one person.
duffs54
so sad poor little ones, I hope it was natural end and not a forced one, flooding sounds to be an idea. RIP little beauties xxx
Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London
I too am wondering if these little beauties drowned. Crosswell is in Pembrokeshire, which had some widespread serious flooding. Coastal as well as inland river tidal surges. If this is the case lets hope the owners are found, at least they will have closure.
digbysmum
Heartbreaking. Do hope this mystery can be solved. Run free at the bridge beautiful girls - together forever xxxx
Lisa
Rest in peace little ones. Simon, your comment bought tears, what a lovely sentiment.

So sad ... R.I.P beautiful girls xx sleep tight angels xx <3<3

Kinsally
It is still sad whatever happened.
I am not sure if there were floods in that area.
If someone found them and placed them like that for owners to find.
There are still people out there that have not heard of lost dogs.
Let us hope we can find out soon.
Kinsally
Yes that is what I had thought Patlucky that they may of drowned. Whatever the circumstances it's very sad & I hope there can be an explanation from a pm to ascertain the cause :(
BigGSDPatlucky
janiejewel
No will have to wait and see.
Another thought and just a thought.
Could they be victims of a flood.
Just another thought.
Poor owners.
Does anyone know if 2 collies went missing together.?
Unknown
Patlucky. I dont really k now either. They were said to be in fairly good condition so could they have died from natural cause within a short time of each other? I have known this to happen. Perhaps the owner (If the dogs had been ill) failed to take them to the vet, and was worried thay may be charged with animal neglect? Just another theory. We will just have to wait for the post mortem results.
BigGSDPatlucky
Janiejewel
I just wondered if they could have been shot with any sign's.
I am not sure but it is real strange.
Hope they find out what and who killed them.
Unknown
The two dogs that went missing in Central Region are both chipped but one was wearing a leather collar.

Looking at above write up I would think the inspector is probably RSPCA??
'' Inspector Richard Abbott said: “This is a real mystery. Both dogs appear to be in reasonable condition and presently we have no idea how these dogs died or how they came to be laid out in a field in this particular way''

More details on
http://www.westerntelegraph.co.uk/news/county/10945591.Death_of_two_collies_in_north_Pembrokeshire_baffles_RSPCA/

Does seem very strange bodies have been laid rather than just dumped. I would also wonder if some sort of accident and found by someone and then laid side to side.

Only the RSPCA can find out how they died by having A PM done just in case was poison and other dogs/animals could be at risk..

Kinsally
This is so very very sad poor babies. What a very upsetting find that must of been. Has this area been flooded at all? I wondered if they had tragically drowned & someone found them. RIP dear girls xx
Pointerlover
Does anyone know if the RSPCA or police know about this terrible cruel act? This should be a crime investigated until the culprit is found and the cruel low life brought to justice. It doesn't look like these two poor girlies were treated well before they died and so this should call for a full investigation by authorities as this person or persons should be stopped before they do it again as low life's like this will . A post mortem would be the first step carried out by the RSPCA I would have thought.
Neighbark
I'm wondering about the two pairs of collies that were stolen a year ago in Worcestershire. One pair, both girls from Stamford Bridge about a week before Xmas, and the other I think in bewdley. Not far from the welsh border.
Unknown
That`s lovely Simon, and I will be their Mum then, and take care of them both. where they will be "Forever together"
simon gsdr
Rest in peace little ones, wait for me by the bridge, if you have no one, I will be your Dad and carry you both over. xx
Unknown
Patlucky. The dogs show no sign of injury or trauma, so I would imagine if they had been shot there would be some bleeding, or bloodstains. Does anyone know if a post mortem has or will be taking place shortly to determine how these poor girlies died please? Whoever is responsible for this, one day you will get your comeuppance, one way or another; bring it on.
Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London
This is so heart breaking. Someone has gone to the effort of putting them there...Why? I pray they did not suffer and walked over the bridge together, nothing can harm them now, Bless them.
Bev B
I have only found this site since September 2013 unfortunately because someone has lost a dog near my home--I have been amazed the good that comes from it reuniting owners ----BUT----also in such a short period I have read about such awful cruelty and feel that these poor girls have ended up like this as a result of something bad--RIP little girlsxx----may the person or persons that have done this to you never have any days of peace and if someone knows who has done this then hopefully they will tell the police so that action can be taken.
BigGSDPatlucky
I know if they worry sheep farmers are allowed to shoot dogs.
Collies are well known for doing this.
However as a dig lover this is so sad.
Is it possible they could have been shot.?
Carol
I think they have been killed because of the way they are laid out , I thought of Jim , people are vile sometimes , RIP Sally and Mary little sweethearts you are in a better place now xxxx
Unknown
Nickydog. I think the names Sally, and Mary are lovely names. RIP+ Sally, and Mary. The person/s who left you like this are scum, and hopefully you will be found, and called to account for your despicable act. I would think that someone must know of a person who owned two Border Collies, and now they are no longer there? Surely it would be difficult to hide these two away, but who knows? Where they working dogs no longer wanted, so discarded? Or did they see a cute little puppy? Well it is just past the Christmas period. Of course as you said Claire they were put there after being killed I think so too. I hope someone can shed some light on this , so these poor dogs can have justice:-( Keep us posted please.
liver1047
go play at rainbow bridge you lovely girls,, hope they find out who has done this to these lovely girls, x
Nanni Byron
Ditto Pointerlover! What is our world coming too. So much sadness & cruelty in the animal world Run free beautiful girlies.
Pointerlover
So tragic two beautiful girlies once again look to me like they have been thrown away like rubbish. I am sure they were laid out after they had died or been killed! Wondering if they were strangled or drowned as there are no visible wounds. They definitely do look in bad body condition and wondering what their poor lives were like before they died? Someone has to be made accountable for this terrible cruelty. To leave these two out in the open exposed to all animals and the elements proves that they were not thought anything of at the very least. The low life responsible has to be found and brought to justice and it is up to all of us on this site to make sure this is carried out.
DogLostMax - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
Run free together in the warm sunshine. Hope you did not suffer.
toby
How tragic....2 beautiful collies.....
SH
I also think they have been put there but at least they had each other to walk over the bridge with - run free in the sunshine x
ClaireC
How very sad and how very strange. To me, it looks like these dogs didn't die there but have been placed in that position! Run free girls xx
BBKM
Oh this is so sad. Poor dogs. RIP sweet girls xx I hope your family can be found. :-( :-( xx
Nickydog
Run free at the bridge you two. Hope you are claimed. If not can I suggest Sally and Mary as names to take to the bridge.
Unknown
This is so tragic. Could they have taken something toxic? This sadly happened to a friend`s dog a few years ago whilst he was being walked in some woods (Accidentally):-( I expect there will be a post mortem to find out how these dogs died. After the "Justice for Jim" campaign, I hope it wont be "A Campaign for two collies" RIP+ both, and have a safe journey to the bridge. God blessx Two~~~candles~~~will burn for you both. Another two Angels in Heaven, and two more stars will be shining in the sky. Run free, and play safely at the bridge:-(
