OMG !!!! What wonderful news. I'm so pleased for you. Yes, it gives others like me hope that our babies can come back to us. Thank God for his microchip. I'd love to know if he still remembered you when you got him back. Give him a big cuddle from me. Welcome home little man xxx
Sue/Pedro
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and wishes. Never give up hope, we didn't. Things happen when you least expect them. I look at him, and it's like the last four years didn't happen. Thank you everyone xx

O M G !!! 4 years later and you have your little one home. This is just almost unbelievable. Poor little boy. I wonder where he has been all this time.
DogLostNina
Oh my goodness! that is such good news. So wish that all dogs were micro chipped and their details kept up to date then owners could receive good news like you have just done.
DogLostAngus
Oh wow - what a surprise you must have had when the vets called you to say they had him. once again it goes to show the importance of the microchip and keeping your details up to date. I do hope that he settles back into family life well and can put the last 4 years behind him xx
Sue/Pedro
Just let everyone know we got Pedro back last Saturday after 4 years. He was found in Kent and taken to a vet who checked his microchip. He had been badly treated and is blind in one eye, but otherwise fit and well. We never gave up hope on getting him back. Microchips do work. Sue

It was lovely to see you at Discover Dogs this weekend with Nicky Sue, you are both doing a really good job keeping your dogs in the public eye and not letting anyone forget they are missing. Well done. Dolly 6.2.05Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you for helping me, but it was't Pedro. Pedro looks like a Chihauhau from the front and a Pekingnese from the back. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We are flooding the country with posters, and contacting as many vets, grooming parlours and kennels. We have joined up with Ralphs owners. He went missing on the 5th May under similar circumstances. His owners were on Richard and Judy. Ralphs mum got phone call early this morning from an irish man, saying that Pedro is alive and well and the new owners are not interested in any reward. number withheld. This could be another hoax call. We will never give up hope of finding him. We have a regular appeal on Essex Radio.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry Pedro isnt back with you yet ,have you given all the vets a photo local and distant because at some time the people who have him may be bold enough to take him to a vet for treatment or boostersl Remind them all with an email, Good luck, Chrisx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to keep you updated. We have increased the reward now to ?3,000 posters everywhere. He has just vanished. Following up every advert that is selling a small dog. We just don't know what to do now. just got to hope that microchip comes up trumps. SueLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We have had a sighting last week in a road that backs onto a park which backs onto a gypsy site, but searched the area for 3 hours, nothing. We also had a tip off from someone who has said she contacted the person that has Pedro but will not give him up, as her children are attached to him, this number was with held. Pedro was on the Paul O'grady show last Tues but nothing from that. We are going to put the reward up from ?1,000 to ?2,000. We are just going through ads in papers and putting up posters and giving out leaflets., we just don't know what else to do, it is now 4 weeks since he went. SueLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The tip-off story is very odd, I'd look into that more, sounds like they have something to hide if the story's they gave doesnt match the neighbours. Would keep a watch on the address for future 'disappearances' too. Hurry home safely Pedro. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I agree that this is very strange. At least there has been a sighting though, so that is a positive sign!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pedros owners received an address in a tip off. They went to check it out, the person told owners that the dog had been at their address, they said they gave him some food and sent him on his way! Yet they had told their neighbours that the dog was owned by their mums friend and they were looking after it. Hmmmm strange dont you all think. The address is in the same area and the owner.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
