Hi Ceri. all very good of you. Paws xd,
Ceri
Hi again!!! Hope you're all ok.

I've just noticed that this little girl went missing in 2013 - not 2018 and unfortunately I've sent 23 e-mails out today with details of a 4 month old kitten.

I sent them to all the local vets and most of the animal shelters in North Wales, along with one in Manchester and one in Liverpool (in case she had explored someone's car and been inadvertently driven to another area) with Gizmo's photo and details. I've asked them to put her on all their social media websites (most if not all are probably duplicates of what you've already done but felt it won't do any harm to ask again). Even if only some of these are able to help, I thought it would still keep Gizmo's profile current and every person that shares her details is potentially the one who may help her get home to her family.

Every person who shared social media posts helped bring Baggins' home and I just wanted to try and help Gizmo.

We also planned to put her Doglost posters up around our area in the next day or so (I will cancel these) and were just waiting for them to be printed on A5 paper (as a lot of shops/takeaways have limited space for fliers/posters). In addition, we planned to be looking for her around the area, along with another cat called Hamish, a brown male tabby cat who was last seen in the Narrow Lane of Llandudno Junction on Saturday 27th October.

I sincerely apologise to anyone who I've upset with this post, as this was completely unintentional - I was only trying to help.

We have been completely sleep-deprived all week due to Baggins being lost and I didn't read the date properly.

I will contact all of the people I sent kitten photos to let them know. I won't ask them to remove the post, just amend it, as someone may remember finding a kitten in that area back in 2013 and it is possible she may still be reunited with you.

Keep in touch with any developments and stay hopeful!!!

Sorry to hear about Gizmo. I live near you and will keep an eye out for Gizmo. My house cat, Baggins, went missing last weekend and luckily we've just been re-united. Someone had seen our Baggins' 'Lost' poster on social media, so people will probably share Gizmo's details too. Stay hopeful - we met a lot of really lovely, very helpful people in our area during our search for Baggins. Hope you're reunited with him very, very soon.xx

Sorry Gizmo is missing. Someone may have thought he was lost, and are keeping him. Try putting something with your scent on in the garden, as this may bring him home, or leave a favourite toy of his with his scent on. When you can I would advise getting him neutered, as then he wont stray too far away, as well as fasthering what could become unwanted kittens. Good luck xLast edited: 2018-11-05 20:26:28

Sorry to see that GIZMO KITTEN is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (58760)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
