Hi jodie and ouzo would you know if she has a prominant scar all down her belly, and a umbilical hernia ??? Battersea is a long way from Cardiff, Rosie is also Micro- chipped so if she is scanned our details should come up. She is still a very nervous and timid dog. Many thanks for the info: every scrap gives ue hope.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Re; the Medium, I made enquiries with some people and they said that the lady who came to our house is a Physic physcologist ??? dont know if it means the same as a medium, We have had 2 false sightings today, and some ash-bin men have taken some posters to put up in their lorry's, so although things came to a dead stop they seem to be moving again, thank you everybody for your concern , my thoughts are with ALL missing dog owners.xx Mary.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

rosie's mum - can i please just say be careful - especially about letting people into your home - and showing them around! Safety first - mediums rarely approach people in this manner and I'd be more than sceptical about someone wanting to look around your home in such a way. A good medium can contact the dog whether alive or dead and for her to not be able to contact rosie sounds rather odd if you ask me. Of course rosie is alive - we all know from experience here that dogs rarely come into trouble but are usually spotted and picked up by people who think they are doing them a favour looknig after them without realising they have to report the finding of them. Keep postering, it's definitely the key to finding rosie!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If rosie is tagged AND chipped then even if she has been adopted when she goes to the vets they will get your details and send her home!!! Keep looking and don't give up hope!!! (consider buying a 'lucky duck'. it's a small glass duck that makes your worries dissapear and your hopes come true, it worked for me so it'll work for you!!!)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I wish I lived nearer to help look for rosie! I can see animal spirits too, it's not spooky it's kinda cool, and I haven't seen rosie either so I'm convinced she is alive (if she wasn't I'd either see her in a dream or her spirit and I've seen neither) and sense a feeling that she is on her way home! Good luck xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, a woman knocked our door last night, said she is a medium, she is convinced Rosie is alive and being kept by someone, she went all over the house and said she couldn't pick up on Rosie's spirit, which convinces her she is alive, dont know the woman except she said her mother lives the other end of the St. where we live, dont really know her either except to say " Hello" she said not to give up, and she would be seeing me again, so we are still living in hope that Rosie will show herself somewhere......as well as all the other missing dogs, everywhere.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm sorry I don't live nearer to you to help in the 'hunt' for Rosie (I'm in Surrey). What you are doing sounds spot on - the more posters that are put up, the more people will become aware of dear little Rosie. Sooner or later I'm sure she will be spotted. It was a good idea getting the rabbit holes checked out - I gather Jack Russells are notorious for going down them. Hopefully, little Rosie will be being well looked after and loved by some unsuspecting people who thought she was a stray! I'll keep everything crossed that she is reunited with you both very very soon. Good luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Re: Posters up for Rosie, we have put them up all over Ely, some in Canton and another area Fairwater, all on trees around where we live , on the Park gates and also Victoria Park in Canton, also posted them in the Cardiff Council dogs pound, the dog warden has taken some and put them in his van, lots of friends and family have them in their car windows..tried the local press to print a story, no luck (which I can understand why ) if they do one .. have to do them all, local radio said the same, we are also offering ?100. reward.have all the local children by us out looking. Where we live the park is dotted with rabbit holes, the Fire Service came out and checked all what they could see and all drainage pipes that are over the park, the day after she went missing. no luck, all we can do is hope she is safe. Rosie's owner, there are lots of people who are out and about all day that you should contact: Refuse depot, Royal Mail Delivery Office, Milk depots, taxi companies, bus depot. They are usually only to happy to give posters to drivers so they'll look out. Have you got posters in the area and have you got people to help you poster ?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I just want to say how thankful my husband and I are that there are sites like this, Rosie came to us just over 2 yrs ago from a rescue centre, she was my husbands Siamese twin so to speak you never saw one without the other,we are both utterly devastated ,and what has happened now is completely out of character for her, we have put numerous posters up everywhere we can think of, people have been so kind, we are both O.A.P. and one young couple near us paid to put and add: for 3 nights in our local paper, but there has been no sightings what-so-ever, and her and my husband were quite well known around here. I just want to say thank you for giving us hope.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
