- Roscoe, we do get some amazing "reunited" stories on this site and Tina is definitely one of them! A very lucky little girl. Thank you so much to all who helped and willed her home. It worked. x

- Adam Bless you and this Halo system. i Know Tina has two chips in her and I just assumed that one scanner worked on all kinds of chips. I feel the need to educate myself on a micro chip and how it works and to make sure it is registered every where it needs to be.

- EmmaFoster a great big heartfelt thank you to your husband for stopping and rescuing her from a busy street. It breaks my heart to think of what else might have happened to Tina during her time away from us. She has been cleaned up and on antibiotics and will have a follow up next week.

- Hi my name is Adrian and I posted this lost photo of Tina two years ago. I can not express how thankful I am to everyone who helped get our Tina home. I honestly was running on very little hope of ever seeing her again. Although negative stories plagued my mind there was still a small glimmer of a reunion that would pass my thoughts as well. I am beyond the moon with this news. I have yet to see her (visiting family) but that picture of her and my husband is one of the best I have yet to see and cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you all again so much.

- Emma, your husband is a diamond. So many people seem to just drive by loose dogs without stopping. I should imagine Tina,s owner would be over the moon to meet yours husband, I know I would if it was me. Xxx

- Soo lovely to see her with her owner, my husband was the one that found her in Widford, cars were swerving past her on a busy road and my husband stopped as he was concerned she would get run over. He said she was a lovely friendly little thing and as he drove to his mums she was jumping around in his cab of his van smelling everything. Great picture to see her with her owner :)

- Nik I would be very happy to give my side of this story if they would like it? It's a definite bonus for the halo system as without it we would never have matched her up!
I have passed the comment over to Tina's owner, just in case he was UN aware. - 2015-11-25 11:44 Unknown
- We've been talking to Radio 4's You and Yours and are trying to set up the various interviews they require. Essentially the piece is on scanning.Last edited: 2015-11-25 11:45:09

- Hi, Tina was found straying in a small Hertfordshire village. The gentleman who found her asked him Mum, Lin, to look after her, and Lin knocked on my door to ask my advice as she knows I help dog rescues. I advised her to call the DW which she did straight away. Half an hour later I drove past the house and the DW van was outside - great service by East Herts! I called Lin when I got home, who told me the DW (stand-in as DW away) couldn't find a chip but would take the dog to the pound who would also check. An hour later Lin called me, almost in tears, with the great news that the dog's owners from two years previously had been notified. I suppose no-one will ever know where Tina was for those two years. My guess was that she had been a companion to a person who perhaps didn't understand the need for regular vet checks and grooming. She was not badly treated as she is the happiest dog I've met in a long while! I'm so pleased she is now back with her loving family and will be receiving all the care she needs. x

- Helen I think the one posted on Dogs found the 2 terriers one white and one brown, looks a lot like my Tina. But it doesn't say if its a male or female and it says that the dog was found on 23 August. Tina went missing on the 24th. It also says dog not chipped but Tina is chipped. But it just looks so much like her I want to check anyways!
