I had told the owner how I teach my own rescue dogs to walk on the lead (as Ezra doesn't, and the kennels said he needed to be carried to the exercise area).
So I am happy to report she tried what I said I took him for a walk this morning and even saw a waggy tail so she is very happy!
I have now given her some Greek words to try with him incase he resonds ( I used to live in Greece and Cyprus! )

What a shame nobody made the connection sooner.I hope the owner doesn't get charged the full kennel fee. Maybe there needs to be a better handover system between out of hours and weekday dog wardens.

The owners of this dog phoned the local council when he went missing, I texted the DW and then emailed the DW last night and yet it turns out he has been sitting in kennels since Sunday and the owner is going to collect him tomorrow.
I am glad he has been found but very disappointed that the system of logging a dog with the local council obviously does not work!

Ezra has not been seen since he ran off again and no further food has been taken from the house.
I have emailed out to dog wardens in the neighbouring areas as well as SP11 incase he travels.

Still missing, owner tried to get hold of him when he came back near the house but he ran off again, so still looks like he is in the area which is good

Went over to Wherewell tonight and walked my own dogs on the common which boarders the Priory estate and then went to visit owners.
There has been further sightings today in the Priory estate (Wherewell side) so looks like he is staying in that area so owners going back down there this evening.
Spoke to old contact who lives and works in the village who is also ensuring some key land owners know about Ezra (if not already).

Which village is Ezra missing from? I see from maps that SP11 is Andover area.

Have spoken to owner and given detailed advice.
EZRA has been in the uk 10 days, Greek Rescue dog, been with them 4 or 5 days only, bolted out the house.
Has continously been seen in village still and appears to be using roads not fields.
Have stressed that no one should approach, only feed him and walk away as so far he has ran off when approached.
Food and videa camera will be set up at home tonight to see if the food that went was taken by him.
