thanks so do i! i dont care how long it takes shes my dog and when i find her shes coming home with me, it was my 21st birthday on the 3rd of this month and my husband bought me a stb puppy i love her to pieces but it doesnt replace the one ive lost and we have even said when cico comes home shes staying

How unfortunate that your local police station weren't more helpful. If you do find your missing Staffie girl and the person who has Chico refuses to return her, then get some decent professional advice from a solicitor who either specialises in or has a good working knowledge of canine civil law. No-one would suggest that you give up searching for a child, our dogs are very much part of the family too and not just property. Hope you find Chico soonxxxx

hi everyone i have been phoning round places today i even called the police and basically they have told me to stop looking because even if i do get her back because its been so long and even though i reported her the day after she went missing there is nothing i can do if she is living with someone else even if she has been rehomed by places that know she is missing there is nothing i can do to get her back

hi everyone we had a call saying that a dog of chico's description has been spotted around parson cross which isnt too far away from both southey green (where there has been two different possible sightings) and my house so pherhaps she is trying to find her way home finger crossed thankfully i have family that live in that area and i went round and gave them all two different pictures of her to carry round. will keep you posted thanks again for all your doing from victoria

we had a possible sighting yesterday but it was not her. the person who owned the dog was very understanding and let us have a look at her dog i explained that my dog was missing and she took some of our posters to put up round her area. still looking and trying to think of different ways or ideas but i think i'm doing all i can. heres a list of the things i've tried if anyone can think of anymore please let me know: posters, police, kennals local and within a ten mile radius, she is posted on about 6 websites, vets have been informed and phone calls to all the surrounding dog wardens. my husband goes for a walk every night taking her lead and favourite sqeeky toy. hes lost weight but still not brought her home. anymore ideas anyone? please let me know thanks vikxxx

we have been to the area about 6 times and still no luck, we have tried all the local vets and police in that area and they haven't had any information about her. somebody out there has got my or knows something anout my dog and i really want to know where she is. i keep reading the reunited stories looking for hope, but i'm loosing it now because its been about 6 weeks anyone out there know of a story where the owner had been looking for a long time and then got their dog back and then one day after a while they find it. thankx for all your all doing victoria=chico 30-1-2006

good luck for your hunt tomorrow.I will keep my fingers, infact every thing crossed Chico is home soon.Keep phoning the vets,kennels,local breeders,rescue centres,police station,and the dogward as often as you can.put posters every where petstores,community centres,swimming pools/sports centres,church halls,tourist attractions,taxi ranks,show your local postman the poster and ask him to show it to his workmates,local delivery drivers/courier services,pubs,workingmens clubs,takeaways-fish and chip shops,chinese takeaways,supermarkets,local parks,nature reserves,woods,doctors surgurys.

we went out today to check the area and unfortunatly we couldn't see her we are going to check again tomorrow and i am also going to phone the lady who contacted me! please keep your fingers crossed for us and if there are and doglost helpers in that area (parson cross, southey green and hillsborough of sheffield) would you please put posters up for me and if you see any sightings please let me know thanks again Victoria xxx

i have posted chicco on the sheffield forum just had a phone call saying that she spotted a dog (about two miles if that from where i live southey green road and halifax road junction) that looked exactly like chicco will keep you posted FINGERS CROSSED ITS HER EVERYONE love victoriaxxx

Victoria just a quick question, the people you got Chico from, definetly didn't have her chipped, just a thought that if she was could she be registered under there name still? also have you spoken to them? as she could have tried to make her way to them? That will help no end.I have just emailed Chicos poster to all the dog rescue centres in Yorkshire asking each one to pass onto any contacts they have. This should make him to hot to handle!!!!!!!!!If I was you I would also keep phoning and visiting them to check. Just put in rescue centres in Sheffield on your search engine and that should bring up the site I use.You just click on the map the area you require.Its free to use.Hope this helpsxxxxx

hi im victoria and chicco is my dog. unfortunatly there is a thing in shiregreen where staffy dogs are been stolen, according to police and the dog warden its opportunist thieves and drug users who steal the dogs and take them to pubs to be solt for drug money if anyone tries to sell you a dog in a pub or any other place i would suggest phoning the police and other authorities to check if they have been reported lost or stolen. chicco is a friendly dog who likes a fuss. we got her for my 2yr old daughter for christmas and all she does now is ask where my chic chic is as you can tell we really want her back and she is deeply missed by all the family any sightings please let me know thankx victoria
