Sorry this was not Nala, and sorry just saw your reply. I don't know the answer to your question but I do know people have had problems with posters being torn down. Could be the council or could be someone trying to stop people seeing the poster. You call your council, tell them you intend to put some posters up and where and they should tell you their policy and then you would know if it was them or not. I will ask and come back to you if I get a better answer.
Nala
Thank you so much reggiemollieros- I have checked on Gumtree, sadly the dog isn't Nala, but it could have been, so well worth a look.Just seen a dog on the Battersea programme who had been missing for 18months,and was reunited with her owners,so I guess at 8 weeks missing we still have hope that Nala will comeback to us again - just hope it is very soon, and that in the meantime she is being well cared for.
Just a question in general, I have put up 2 large posters(on hardboard) at both ends of the lane where Nala was taken from - and 3 times now the signs have been cut down (possibly by council but not sure)- I am going to make more posters and put them up - but is it against the law to put up these signs (they are approx 2ft6in x 2ft, and my friend leases the field whose fence one of them is on, however the other one is on a fence adjacent to a field that belongs to the council).Just wondered where I stand on this

There is a female pug cross breed for sale on gumtree in Leeds. I know this is a long shot but there are photos with the advert so you can probably tell straight away. http://www.gumtree.com/p/pets/puggle-for-sale/1020292569

Had possible sighting in Hayes/Harlington area (Station Road), on Sunday morning. We have put posters up locally and contacted Hillingdon Dog Wardens, but no dog has been reported to them yet. Also on Saturday we had a report of a brown dog being pulled out of the Grand Union Canal close to where we live.Waterways volunteers called me today to confirm that the dog was definitely not Nala, it was aparently a brown and white dog, possibly King Charles Cavalier type.
Nala
Thanks Cindy, maybe if posters could stay up until weekend (just incase).
cindy
I will continue to look out for her but it seems that she is not in Mowsbury??? What do you want me to do about the posters?
Nala
Just had a call from a lady who walks her dog on Mowsbury Park who said that dog matching Nala's description is regularly walked on the golf course, but it does have a legitimate owner. Unless there is another similar dog in the local area? Our insurance company have now agreed to putting reward up to £500Last edited: 2013-05-29 21:04:27 by Nala
Nala
Yes I contacted the local dog warden, and also sent them a poster on 20th May
cindy
Posted in Mowsbury Park and wood today, wood is adjacent to the Golf course. I will try and get over to the club house tomorrow and see if I can leave a poster or two with them for their notice boards. Has anyone checked with the dog warden in this area?

Tx Cindy....if you could put a few posters up in the area that would help.
Nala
Thank you so much, I have been busy putting ads on more websites and double checking again with Petlog to make sure our contact details were correct.
cindy
We walk out dog regularly at Mowsbury Park which adjacent to the Golf course. My husband is there now and having a good look around for Nala, unfortunately he had already left before I got your message, so we will poster tomorrow and will call in to the Golf club house and speak to them there.
Nala
I have found the kennels that take the Ealing dogs to rehome - it is Animal Helpline dog rescue in Wansford near peterborough - they dont have Nala there but I have emailed them some photos, incase she turns up there
Nala
I am checking out Peterborough kennels - thank you for that information
Nala
The dog was seen on Mowsbury Park Golf Course and she was running free with no humans in sight
cindy
Can you tell me which Golf course she was seen on.
Unknown
Sorry to see Nala is still missing. Hope she is being made "To hot to handle" Fingers xd.
cindy
Was Nala running free or with someone? Which Golf Course was it as we have a couple in Bedford, I can visit the Golf course/area if I know which one it is. Will try and get some posters printed and up.

The Animal columnist in Ealing Gazette has now found, any dog picked up in Ealing is taken to slough and after 7 days moved to 'Peterborough' for rehoming. It seems a long way to send dogs maybe worth checking with the council to see if Nala has been sent there.

Hi - we also have a missing dog - if there's anything I can do to help, please give me a call. I've texted with my number.
Fingers crossed she's home soon. I know that you will have a lot of advise from DogLost, they are superb and are helping us so much, but cannot stress how important postering everywhere and also getting word out on Facebook and Twitter. This makes your baby 'known' . . .

Sorry to see that NALA STILL MISSING is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
