Just spoken to owner who's wife is in hospital now to add to his problems. He has had a few calls to say that a Springer Spaniel has been spotted running loose in a nearby village, Brotton. Owner has been out looking but has found nothing. He says she is not the normal bouncy springer but is not a shy nervous dog either. There is a show/obedience class held in Brotton so I will contact them with the information. The whole are has been postered, and our local animal rescues are aware.

Come on Pup, time you were home. Have postered where owners hadn't managed and tried to contact Northern Springer Rescue but so far only got an answerphone. Will try again later today just in case they have had a contact.
