The dog that was in the fox trap is safe in our rescue, we did think she might be Jodie. This little girl is very nervous but is a sweetheart if there is anychance she is Jodie please get in touch with the Freedom of Spirit Trust for Border collies 01274 566150.

A strikingly similar Collie Bitch has been picked up from Tockholes, was caught in a humane fox trap and is now in Aspen Kennels,Oswaldtwistle , this approx 2yr old bitch has the same stance,colouring ,ears and coat type as Jodie BUT has a white sock on one front leg

Stray border collie in refuse site barnoldswick sunday They tried to catch it but it ran off. Into the park next door it was wearing a collar they are going to put food put for it

just had a call to say that someone was trying to sell a collie identical to mine on burnley buy and sell facebook page, admin have taken the pic down because of complaints so i can't see it but he was from colne and was asking for £300 his name is charlie bee, i don't know how to get in touch with admin to get the picture but every detail, even down to the eyes matched!!

This is the one listed on the animal wardens website ref 300161 its not jodie but thankyou for looking.
The bacup road siting was a very accurate discription so its possible that she is going for food in that area

Have had a call this morning about a sighting of a Stray Collie fitting Jodie's description 2 weeks ago on Crown Point in between Burnley and Bacup by the Burnley Dog Warden this would tie in with sightings on Padiham rd and Weir and the farm she is possibly heading for as Crown Point is more or less mid way between these 2 areas and open Moorland, when we were searching the area on saturday we flagged down a passing landrover and by some miracle it happened to be the farmer who bred Jodie who gave us some very good information the extra image on the poster is a very accurate likeness of Jodie ,her rear legs are cow hocked where they turn in together at the knees and she knows every inch of the farmers land which she spent a lot of time working and he has a vast amount of land, he feels sure she will turn up at his farm at some point as did another Collie he bred a few years ago.

The Deerplay pub has been closed for a while and is all boarded up now so u cant miss it, travelling from Burnley on the A671 it is on the left hand side ,nothing else around it but moorland.

This was NOT Jodie, apparently was one of 2 Badgers that have been killed on the same stretch of rd in the past few days,the hunt for Jodie still on going ,a few meeting up on saturday morning 11am on The Deerplay Pub Car park...this pub is boarded up and has been closed for quite some time.

I have just had a call from a member of public saying she saw a dog on the side of the road yesterday on Burnley Road, Weir, looks like it was involved in an RTA :( not sure if the council have collected it but she did say it wasn't there today. Caller had seen Jodie poster but couldnt read the number so contacted us. This may be worth looking into, Rossendale Council is 01706 217777. Sad news I know but it could be some closure at least. xxx

There have been possible sightings of Jodie in and around Dean lane,Water nr Bacup over the past 2 days, if this IS Jodie she is less than a mile from her previous owner and is staying in the kind of area and environment she is familiar with.....we went and put poster's in this area on sunday afternoon......come on Jodie let yourself be caught.

The family searching for Nipper have seen a very lost looking border collie in the last hour near Lakeland Way and the junction with Padiham Road and also reported earlier on Pendle Way. Hi today i was talking to a lady about stray dogs and she said she seen a collie circling round lower manor, thats barden lane Burnley. very wary, has tried to tempt this dog. description matches yours, all black except white paw(s) and bit chin and chest , wearing a blue collar that looks slightly teal
