Eve, there are two papers run out of one office: One comes out on Tues and the other at the end of the week. editorial@mkcitizen.co.uk and news@lbobserver.co.uk. 01525 858400. I think the Observer is the Tuesday one.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Janess, What is the name of the Leighton paper please, and is it this weeks?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Phoned HULA and dog they have isn't chipped. However he did say the chips don't always go right in and you should get the dog scanned again a day or two later! Since the dog they have sounds similar and the shaved ear will not be obvious now, I thought it best to phone contact and she will follow it up with HULA.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Not sure if this is too far away - in the local Leighton paper a GSD was found over xmas in Great Brickhill she is at HULA in Aspley Guise - 01908 584000 - piccy in paper is v dark so I 'm not too sure. They think she is about 18mthns & underweight....Good Luck JaneLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoken to friend of owner. Jess is still missing. They have postered very comprehensively in/around the area she went missing from and feel that because of this she must have been taken in. They have also notified vets and got some press coverage. I suggested posters to rescue centres and calling in when possible too. I will continue to put up posters on my travels. She is considered to be a small GSD - last weighed in at about 30kg. Something which may bring her to notice/cause problems for whoever has her is that she is due to come into season approx. April.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Probably co-incidence Dee. But if I'm going to be really cynical, our friends at Cherry Tree were evacuated at the weekend and were probably at a loose end.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

HP22 is a massive area. Pitchcott is just outside Quainton and north of Aylesbury. It's Bucks Herald territory (deadline Monday). Local RSPCA is not far away at Blackberry Farm. It's on the outer edge of HP and helpers it some MK areas will need need to be notified. Can't do them direct, so will post the codes.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'll poster a-s-a-p. Suggest owners keep contacting police/rescue centres/dog wardens etc. Also Forest Lodge Kennels where I believe MK strays are taken. Thoughts are with you. Eve xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
