Not sure if anyone would read this and sorry for not checking his page. Woody never left mine, we fell in love with him and he had continued age related issues. He had a cysst opened so he was reluctantly put under a GA and had all his lumps and bumps removed and neutered and came out of that with no problems. He then got a small cut on his tail which became infected with pseudomonas which took forever to heal and had to have two amputations of his tail to help heal. We go there in the end after many months of treatment. We had to have him put to sleep at the end of November as his hind legs gave out. We were devestated as he had come through so much and his mobility had improved greatly, so much so he was able to run! We miss him a lot.

Hi Tina, Woody has been staying with me and has been recieving much needed treatment for his arthritis and heart murmur and from being unable to walk more than a few steps, he is now walking so much better, running, playing (a lot) and much happier. He is a real sweetie and clean in the house. His vision is going a little but manages fine and is clean and quiet in the house. He gets on great with my dogs and kid and is now ready for rehoming vis Acresway 01268 770402 Last edited: 2013-02-20 10:19:59 by Basildon DW

Monty's owner is coming down this afternoon to see if it is Monty.
Oh please please be Monty! It would be a wonderful start to the day .
Everything crossed for this old man!! xx
My fingers are crossed!!!

I have spoken to Monty's owner and emailed photos over. He feels that there are some pretty identical markings and could well be a match. We feel the need to arrange a meeting ASAP as Monty is unwell and needs medication. Keep your fingers crossed everyone.

could this be lost dog Monty 47538 not same area but

poor old chap to have been fending for himself in the awful weather we've had. sounds as though hes been wandering awhile to be in this state but owners could be searching for him. he so deserves to be in a cosy home at his age.

Photos now added. He is estimated to be around 12 years, teeth are worn down to stumps, bladder infection and slightly dogdy heart but prognosis is good for this chap to have a few years of retirement left!.
