- Yes Laylee is still missing sadly. I'm not her owner just the person who listed her on here, so not sure what's happened to her FB group I'm afraid.

- There is a female GSD who looks like Laylee in that her ears look the same in the photo. She is on the RSPCA rehoming site and they say she came to them through the free ads. this is the link http://www.rspca.org.uk/allaboutanimals/rehoming/petsearch/details/-/Animal/SADIE/ref/BSA2023827/rehome/ they have called her Sadie and she is at the essex branch. dogs@rspcaessexsouth.co.uk If you have a look at the photo as am sure you will know straight away.

- Has the found dog 51551 been checked? I know she looks thinner but then if she has been missing for some time and the microchip could have moved or vanished.Last edited: 2013-05-02 16:59:50 by Tiga

- Just to say poster everywhere and anywhere you can. Remember to keep in constant contact with the vets, rescue homes and the dog wardens (Sussex/Kent and Wealden)..Blue Cross Northiam, RSPCA Brighton, Barby Keel Sidley, Kit Wilson Uckfield, Raystede, Last Chance, Dogs Trust Shoreham .. if Laylee is picked up by someone it often happens that they take them home to their area and then report it so put her info everywhere. Also here is the link for the dog wardens phone numbers .. http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search/all-dog-warden-phone-numbers. This site is another for her to be registered on and you can check all the 'found' dogs too. Give posters to postmen, milkmen, taxi drivers, bus drivers, schools (children are good at spotting things!), post offices, doctors surgeries etc. Just get the word out to as many people as poss. Good luck.

- This is Laylee. On Friday 25 January, a woman entered my friends home uninvited. Whilst my friend was challenging the woman, Laylee panicked and ran out the door where a man was waiting for her. He put a lead on her and walked away. The woman then left. Laylee hasn't been seen since. She was stolen from Kirkdale Road in Tunbridge Wells. Please share her picture. Laylee is as daft as they come and has only ever known kindness. She must be terrified....
She is microchipped, her loss has been reported the pet ID and the police. CCTV in the area has been checked but no sign of her so back roads were used to take her away. He owner is so desperate to have her back she has been out all hours of the day and night looking. Laylee is her life and only companion. There is a reward for her safe return. - 2013-01-27 15:08
- Sorry to see that LAYLEE IN DOGS TODAY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (47938)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
