Edited post to say missing 10 months today. I saw a post elsewhere which made me think it was a year since Bella went missing. Owners would love her to be home before Christmas.

Page has been bumped due to an ad going out in the Farmers Free Ad and a number of other publications and face book pages as we start a new campaign to bring Bella home. Please keep an eye open in Cerne Abbas and the surrounding areas. Bella you have been missing for 8 months now and it is time for you to show yourself.
Team Beagle Lost & Found
Today it is 8 months since Bella went missing - the support remains overwhelming with her own missing fb page, twitter accounts and the full support of BUK for the family - the area is still being postered and searched by family friends and volunteers. Please dont forget about this beautiful girl who may be being looked after by someone who never knew she was lost x

Update from Bella's Facebook page:

Latest Bella update! At the end of last week we had a phone call saying a beagle had been spotted running around the Pound housing estate in Holnest (on the turn off to Boys Hill). It had happened a few days a ago. We went out there today and knocked on the doors, sadly residents confirmed the sighting was on Monday and was of a grey greyhound. Looks like a case of Chinese whispers! However we left leaflets with everyone, so was not a bad afternoon's work for advertising about our Bella!

Any further updates? I'd really been hoping for some good news now ...

Oh no :-(
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator, South West
Thanks Lynn, I had called the Park Beagles and owner was going to call Purbeck. Sounds as though they may have left one behind. :-(
Spindle
Have the Purbeck beagles been eliminated in this sighting?
lynn
I hate to be negative, but the Purbeck and Bovington beagles were in that area today, we bumped in to them when we were walking our dogs. Could it be one of them that were seen?
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator, South West
2 sightings of a beagle heading towards Piddlehinton from the Old Sherborne Road this evening but no sign of her when owners searched. I hope it was bella and that she is sighted again soon.

Hope the newspaper article encourages new information.

Hoped for something positive this weekend - glad to see the tracks are there. Come home soon Bella!
Spindle
Nice day for barbie. Sunny in Cerne today. Drove towards Dorchester had eyes peeled all way. Maybe get some owner scenting down near eten pheasant. Good luck. So much land and field in that area, she will probably hid up in warm barn. Hope shes found soon.
Daisy
Good luck for today x

If there are positive signs of her how about setting up a cage?
PigPog
We are sure Bella is still out there, tracks were seen and the odd half eaten pheasant, the tracker thinks the snow may have driven her nearer to Cerne, please please keep tweeting and looking out for her. Her owners are having a BBQ 12 oclock on Saturday where she went missing in an attempt to lure her out with some lovely sausage smells
Safedog Crash Tested Car CratesBaggy Dog
Awww, thought the bump was due to a sighting. But yes, hope the snow helps with tracking her down.
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator, South West
Bumping due to the mention on Wessex FM, I am sorry but did not see the post untill today. Please send me a text or call if there are anymore updates as working full time I do not get to check every day. There are so many dogs missing in the South West at the moment it is difficult to keep up. Really good news about the tracker dog.
Spindle
Lots of snow today, footprints to follow?
Spindle
She is also in todays Blackmore Vale Magazine. Hope it brings news.

Last night tracker dog led them to a barn where there was dog poop. Also found half eaten pheasants. Must have found somewhere else to sleep last night though as she didn't return to the barn. Tracker dog back out again today. Fingers crossed for good news. Wessex fm said they will raise awareness of Bella after 10am.

I'd like to thank those who were out in the awful weather yesterday to search and again today which was bright and clear. We are told that everyone living in the area knows Bella is missing and all are looking out for her. The game keeper is out and about every day and has seen no signe of her anywhere so she may have left the area. He has let all the other keepers in the surounding area know to report any sightings. The other possability is that week end people found her and took her out of the area in which case her chip should show if they take her to a vet.
Hibberd2012
And again, nothing :(

Aww shame. Don't give up ...there are plenty of positive stories on here. Good luck tomorrow.

Animal Wardens have a tri beagle bitch found 9/1/13 http://www.animalwardens.co.uk/lost-found-dogs-search?sobi2Task=sobi2Details&catid=&sobi2Id=50822
It is a long way away, but she might have been picked up
Safedog Crash Tested Car CratesBaggy Dog
I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Hopefully you can give some of these to each member of the search party (though hoping she's home by then of course). Good luck.
Hibberd2012
Yes she always pulls towards other dogs when walking and she's really friendly.
Daisy
Does she like other dogs? is she more likely to come out if there are dogs in the search party?
Hibberd2012
We have planned walks for this weekend. With 2 separate groups searching around the same time in 2 different places near where she was lost. Not sure how many people are taking part so they may only be small groups. On Saturday 12th there is one starting at Minterne Magna at 10am (meeting in car park opposite church) or at Hilfield at 10:30am. Then on Sunday 13th there is one starting at Sydling St Nicholas at 10am (meeting at cross tree by bus shelter opposite village hall) or at Up Sydling at 10:30am (meeting near the ford). If you can make it to any that would be great. Hoping each group could search their area for about 2 hours. The routes haven't been pre planned but we will give out ordinance survey maps circling the area that needs searching. Anyone welcome to come along and help.
Daisy
I'm nearby, has any sort of search been planned?
Hibberd2012
Have already informed microchip company
DogLostPoochpal - Regional Co-ordinator, South West
Advice emailed to owners, forgot to say inform chip company that she is missing too.
Hibberd2012
We reported her to the west dorset dog warden the night she went missing.
Spindle
Please make sure you hae report Bella to west dorset dog warden.
Tiga
I have just spoken to the owner and usggested they join the Beagles UK FB page. I have also given her some help to get Bella home. Is there anyone in the area who can help as the owners do not live nearby and so have to travel back and forth to search. The owner is also worried about the gamekeepers as pheasant shoots are still on and she does not want anything to happen to Bella as she is a family pet with young children who are missing Bella. Stay safe Bella
