I hope the dog is reunited obviously, but I would just like to say it was very kind of you to take the dog in. Too many people just walk away from a situation like that . So thank you for being kind and considerate. I must say it looks very comfy in your house and very relaxed ! well done !

thank you, had never heard of that breed before! we just assumed because of her markings & size that she was probably a rottweiler cross. will keep an eye out for anyone that might have lost a nz huntaway too!

This dog could be a New Zealand Huntaway. He looks very much like mine who is a NZ Huntaway - just in case someone is missing one and doesn't look on here I thought I would say. Hoping owners are soon found. Julie x

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
