If there is any further news on this Rottie can someone let Doglost know. I know she is up for rehoming now but not found her forever owners as yet.Last edited: 2013-01-23 19:18:58 by ClaireC

Thanks Lis such a shame for the Staffie. Hope the Rottie gets a lovely home soon xx

The Staffie was sadly PTS. This girl is up for rehoming with my local rescue, currently in foster care. Seems a lovely girl, hope she finds her forever home soon.

Thank you Nik. Please do let us know how these two get on. Hope they are rehomed together. I suspect in someway these 2 dogs are probably missing each other as well. It is a bit like when you have 2 dogs and one dies they do pine I know mine did.
mathers22
Thank you Nik - hope she is ok xx

Yes, Mathers22, this is true. The Rottie is in foster care and the Staffie is being assessed. I hope to get more information later. I can confirm that Forest of Dean have a rehoming policy.

I read somewhere, don't know if it's true, that the Rottie was ok in foster care but the staffie x was still very traumatised by it all. Does that mean they have been separated if it's true ? xx

is this one also in kennels with the other dog he/she was found with? are they kennels where they are safe and will be hehomed from?
ClaireC
Poor dogs. Hope they both stay with each other and find a loving home who will take them both.
mathers22
I'll Facebook the dogs and story to get them global hopefully someone will recognise them and do the decent thing xx

This dog was abandoned overnight in the freezing cold along with a Staffie cross. Unusually they were left with their beds and their possessions.

Please help to identify them and if you have any information, please contact Damion Collins at Forect of Dean Council on 01594 810000.
