Phew....so glad Charlie is ok and back with his family. Brilliant the kind family looked after him well and gave him back...bless them, guess they'll miss him but maybe get another dog needing their kindness.
Guess his collar must have come off when they found him.

Yes Fantastic news he is HOME. Received the following update from one very happy owner:

Passer by read my poster and realised she had seen this dog at Bolton kennels. He was found in a street in Bolton outside a shop 2 days after disappearing collar and tag gone. Taken in by a lovely family, great with their children etc, they put him into kennels for a week then he was CHIPPED and homed with them. I was very lucky to bump into a member of staff at kennels and to be put in touch with new owners who were willing to give him up for the cost of what they had spent on him, now home safe after a big walk in the woods here.......

WOW what an update and so pleased he is home, WELL DONE and THANK YOU to everyone who helped get him home and to the family for looking after him and giving him back to his owner.

Welcome home Charlie and into the BLUE you go sending you lots of hugs and cuddles. xxx

Please could you assist in posting a reply for me to the 2 potential founds dogs mentioned - i cannot log in - re ref 282494 I have checked and this is a 5 yr old entire male, not my dog. It is at Liverpool RSPCA. There was one Springer only in Manchester dogs home when I visited on Wednesday, it was absolutely gorgeous looking but sadly nothing like Charlie. I have tried to email an additional picture of Charlie for poster 2 on the doglost ad, without success - been told it has to be submitted as a different format but no idea how to do this
I have also requested that information of a sighting with a man and another small dog to be taken out, I never intended this to go in his doglost profile, it has since been checked out as a false sighting (a cocker spaniel legitimately owned). I have checked about the dog found at Leyburn, ref no 282280 but been told it has liver patch over one eye only. You will see Charlie has both eyes liver and a white freckled nose. Thank you

Message on Doglost North West facebook page - This was shared on Homeless Hounds page, some said there was a similar dogs at Manchester dogs home.. Not sure if this has already been checked out.. Thought to mention just in case. Xx
Does anyone know if this has been checked out. Have tried ringing to check if any springers in & just get automated service. Does state opening hours are 1-5pm, so will try again after 1pm. If already checked could someone please let me know.
