- Such a cute picture. Just remember Whisper, stay amongst the daffs in your own garden and not out in the big wide world where you are a lot smaller and harder to find" Stay safe xx

Dear Jane,
We have been doing our best to thank everyone who helped in the search for
Whisper. I thought this might amuse you...the only place the Suffolk Free
Press could find to put our FOUND advertisment was under 'Family
announcements'. Here she is, between degree pics and deaths!
Our parish magazine (Lookout) gets distributed around 7 parishes and this
again is to thank everyone (including Dog Lost).
LOST IN LAMARSH. We would like to thank Lamarsh and all the surrounding
villages for their help in looking for our lost Norfolk Terrier. Apologies
for covering your telegraph poles with pictures and putting flyers through
your door. Whisper loves to chase things, particularly cars! She escaped on
a Wednesday morning and we had almost given up hope when there was a knock
on the door on Sunday evening. It was a truly magical moment. Henrietta
McGlasham and her poodle 'Puggles' had been looking every day on their
walks...Puggles spotted her, somewhat bedraggled, in an Alphamstone wood. I
only wish Whisper could tell us where she had been during those 5 wet days.
Should anyone else ever lose their dog do contact www.doglost.co.uk. They
told us what to do and were extremely pro-active. If your dog is chipped
that company also notifies vets/councils etc. Thank you to everyone. Mark

- Owners are still out actively looking, still handing out flyers and posters, the milkmen and postmen are on the lookout too. Come on Whisper, give us another sighting! xx

- Clare, remember what is in advice about scenting. Do this where she was sighted and leave an old jumper there. Put food/water out every day or night, same time, same place. This will be part of her triangle. You CAN do this! Persevere with the scenting in the places of sightings to lead her safely home, or to the jumper/blanker. Whichever is the safest place for her. Make sure a poster is by the jumper and scenting areas. Jumper must be in a safe area away from roads. You are doing well! x

- Possible sighting yesterday in Pebmarsh about 5 miles away.
- 2012-10-18 15:08 SanBarn
- I've spoken with owner and given scenting advice and also sent advice via email. Owner has informed DW and has postered and given out leaflets. Whisper escaped out of the front gate and onto the road, she has been seen around the village, a few miles away. Owner is very active and has been out looking for Whisper. xx

- This is not far from me but I can't help alas as I have a broken ankle and can't get out.
the village mentioned will be LAMARSH which is further along the south bank of the River Stour from Bures, going towards Sudbury. It's a pretty wild area - mainly water meadows with lots of marshy bits. There is a Bridge at Bures and another at Sudbury. Bures and Lamarsh are about 2/3 miles apart - you might want to amend the poster - 2012-10-17 16:41 Jayne - Head Office
