Hiya I just wanted to let you all no I had a call from the police to say they found this evil women in Exeter and arrested her the day before new years eve!! She was charged with 13 counts of fraud and admitted to them all!! I no this because I sadly was tricked by this evil women and new delta and Riley I'm pleased we found her in the end :)

The lady who JoAnn Wood sold Delta to has been traced, she has been visited by representatives of the Rescue and Delta is fine and very happy. The lady has signed an agreement with the Rescue and will be keeping Delta :)

Jo Ann Wood is still being hunted by the Police - please everyone be aware whilst she is still at large!!!

I live in Epping, Essex and have two English Setters. I will tell people around here about this. I have also emailed the English Setter Rescue Association and the English Setter Association and asked them to put details and link to this page on their websites.

Alerts sent out to helpers in all RM and IG postcodes...as vehicle recovered in Dagenham area.

The priority on this case it to track down DELTA.

If she has been sold it is possible that she was bought in good faith in the past month- and could be a in a loving stable home. If this is the case the persons concerend need to make contact so that it is known DELTA is safe and does not mean that she will not be able to stay with them.

The police have contacted ESsex horse and pony protection society to warn them to look out for this woman in Essex! The car she had was recovered in Dagenham. But she could be anywhere. She has posed as a vet and even had a horse out down on her say! Please can members of dogs lost in Essex be alerted? I'm in Essex and have shared and I am taking pictures of her and the dogs lost poster to any stables I know. Please share in Essex.

Great I have looked at it and now have a good picture in my head will be closely looking out for her - what a nasty piece of work she is - let us soon hope she is soon tracked down and of course the very beautiful Delta. Julie x

Xenas Mum, I have asked for some help on this. Do we have more details, crime number etc? If you have any clue as to where in Essex, we can get alerts sent out if that is a good idea? Or is it best to lie low at the moment so as not to spook them? How shall we proceed? x

Delta and her friend and companion Riley are rescue dogs and were entrusted to a fosterer purporting to be a vet just returned from Afghanistan. The woman has sold Riley on but he is now safe, Delta and the woman have disappeared. The police are involved. These 2 lovely dogs are supposed to be together!
