- Shereen - I'm so pleased you were able to get in touch with Chong's owner. I'm now wondering what he thinks about the lovely found dog. And now we have another found similar-looking dog and both found in RG postcodes - what a coincidence. Is 'Pal' definately a lurcher? I wonder what's happened to ang - perhaps Chong's owner might be able to enlighten usLast edited: 2012-10-09 22:17:24 by Millys Mum

- Hi Shereen - have just sent you an email with Chong's owner's email addy just in case you don't have it (of course, there's a possiblility that his email addy has changed or that he doesn't access his email on a daily/regular basis). Of course, it would be wonderful if we could get Chong's owners opinion on the found dog (I wonder it they are thought to be similar ages) but reassuring to know that you have managed to secure a rescue place for this lovely lad - Shereen thank you and well done for that. As I said in my email, what about trying to contact Roy's friend's DL Helper 'ang'? Wishing the very best outcome for this boy.

- ive been looking...the tan below the eyes and on the cheek area ,Appears to have a bigger space between the eye and where the tan starts than on Chongs photo...but the shap is still very similar...I also dont think? this dog has any grey around his muzzle but that could just be the lighting...Ive been trying to contact Chongs owners today...will keep trying.I think they should at least take a look.

- Hi Shereen - I've just replied to your email - thanks for alerting me. I'd say that there is a likelihood that the found dog could be missing Chong (well spotted!). I always have Chong in mind whenever I see a male black & tan crossbreed on DL. And like Tobys Mum, I've also spent time going backwards and forwards between the two photos but especially looking at the tan markings above the eyes and the shape of the tan markings on the sides of the dogs' faces. Our own Huntaway was and still is, mistaken for a Dobermann cross and so definately worth a phone call to Chong's owner. Oh! - I'd so love it to be Chong.Last edited: 2012-10-06 22:29:54 by Millys Mum
