- Just to say we have replaced the posters at Doleham Station gate and on the Rock Lane/Westfield/Three Oaks Cross Roads and had a look around Ellenwhore Lane plus Watch Palace Lane.( But all seemed quirt ! ) Bob and Rene.

- Morning all,not posted on Misty's page for a while, but just wanted you to know, we are as active as ever in the search for her. Don't give up hope, she is out there somewhere, and as you say, just need that next sighting. Hopefully it is just around the corner.
- 2013-05-11 10:39 Bob
- Hello to all,Sorry to say all has been very quite, and not had any sighting for a couple of months? If she is down in the area that we think, there is not many houses around there, so I / We reckon that if she mainly only wanders dusk and dawn it tends to leave us in the unknown! We just keep hopping for the next sighting! Thanking you all for the help and encouragement, Bob and Rene.
- 2013-05-04 18:18 Rene
- Hi everyone just to say sadly no more sightings since the one about eight weeks ago,we are still going out to the area where she was sighted to search for her when we can but it is such a large area of woodland and fields its difficult to know where to look.Just hoping we will get another sighting soon and thanks everyone for still helping in our search for our Misty. Bob and Rene

- Bumped .. new photos and advert in Friday Ad.
- 2013-04-27 10:27 Bob
- Hi, just to say I went down Ellenwhore Lane at about 7-15pm on Wednesday night after work its in about the lowest point with woods and a fair bit of open ground around and no close houses. It was a bit early I think as we think she appears at dusk and dawn? We can only hope that she is hanging around this area as we have not heard of any more sightings since about seven plus weeks, but if no one is about to see her we wont unless we get that chance sighting. It is a shame that with the rain and snow going on when she was sighted it was not possible for JB and Tigar to track and confirm that she was there! But the guy who sighted her knows his dogs and animals well,so as definite as it could be. Many Thanks for every ones help Bob and Rene.
- 2013-04-26 20:12 ALI

Thanks SpringerMad for the comment I/We hope that this other picture give an Idea of how much the coats change!I went down to The last seen place on Wednesday evening and had a wander and a call etc but all seemed quirt but is was not quite dusk.If that where Misty is hiding its fairly remote and very few houses around! We just keep on looking, many thanks for all your help Bob and Rene.
- 2013-04-25 09:05 SpringerMad

- Thanks for taking those posters down Rene..kennels said they'd taken them down but obviously not. Funnily enough I was thinking that it would be a good idea to have a new photo of Misty on here..would you email me the one you are talking about please Bob. I can put it on here for you. Glad there are new posters going up, if you wait for new photo they will be even more noticable to everyone. Keep your spirits up.. she will show herself soon I hope.

- Hope you get some news soon.
- 2013-04-21 21:31 Bob
- Hi to every one, Just to say I /We have printed and laminated up a load more posters with the dog lost symbols on them with all the numbers etc: plus I have found another photo of Misty in more of a winter coat. ( I will try to put on the extra image on the Misty Page). We have been out replacing old tatty posters around our lane plus part of Rock Lane ,Three Oaks Station, and given some posters to Trevor at Rock Lane to put up above where we went to. We also noticed to more of the Pickles posters at Westfield Church Bus Stop and removed them when we were passing. We are just hopping to here of another sighting now, Fingers Crossed! Bob and Rene

- Thanks Ali for sharing on facebook the more people that know Misty is still missing the better, maybe one day we will get that call saying that she has been found. Went back to where she was last sighted yesterday evening just in case she showed herself but sadly no luck. Have taken posters down for Pickles at Brede,Staplecross road,Brede High Woods and Mill Lane on the Northiam road as well as Watts Palace Lane and Ellenwhore Lane, hope this is a help. Bob and Rene
- 2013-04-17 21:52 ALI
- I work in rural Rother - Battle, Robertsbridge and Burwash and our office is in Westfield so will keep a close eye out for Misty. Also have Frankie who we walk a lot.......have also shared on facebook
- 2013-04-17 19:50 Rene
- Thanks Ali, Misty has been missing for seven months now and as far as we know she is not too far away. She went missing from Rock Lane,Ore she has been sighted and tracked by Jenny and Tiga at Fairlight,Icklesham,Broad Oak she has also been sighted at Westfield and Ellenwhore lane which is between Chitcombe Road and Staplecross, the last sighting being about seven weeks ago.We presume she must be ferrel by now to have survived all this time so we think she is probably only showing herself in the evenings or early mornings which makes it very difficult for her to be seen.We will have to print some more posters and replace some of the old ones as Gina suggested so that everyone knows that Misty is still out there. Thanks everybody for all your help and support Bob and Rene.
- 2013-04-17 18:46 ALI
- lots of correspondence here - can you tell me where she went missing and where/when there's been sightings.....happy to keep an eye out when I'm out with Frankie........only came across DogLost when I helped with Pickles......what an amazing organisation

- Thanks Rene .. posters of Misty seen when up on the search with Jenny y'day .. went past one of the places that she was tracked to. Believe me we were so relieved when Pickles was sighted thanks to a poster & then caught this afternoon! Oh my goodness .. the flaming cheek of those people! I hope you gave them what for & I'm glad you reported it to police again. Now we have to get back to the business of finding Misty. Some of the posters were rather faded. I'm also a little concerned they were not Doglost posters. Often people will see the poster, and if they saw Misty would not remember the tel number .. however they wld usually remember it was a Doglost poster, go home and look her up. So perhaps the new ones could be ours please? I now have a laminator thanks to a donation to Doglost from a dog I helped find so will try to do some. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP and this warm weather is definitely going to help. We just need that one valuable sighting. COME ON MISTY .. time you came out in the open!
- 2013-04-16 17:36 Rene
- Hi we have seen all the posters going up the last couple of days and have been keeping our eyes open. Our son lives in Staplecross so will ask him to keep an eye out too, still no more news on Misty she seems to be very good at hiding herself. We havent given up either she must be out there somewhere we are just waiting for that next sighting too.Just to say we have had another call from the scammers trying to sell advertising space, have contacted the police and the bank just in case!!! Bob and Rene

- Hi Bob and Rene, Just thought I'd say that there is a big search going on in the area that I now call Misty territory. Pickles went missing in Staplecross but lives in Bexhill, so it's quite possible that someone looking for him may spot Misty. I'm hoping that now the weather seems to be a little kinder that she will be out and about a bit more..as adverts are in Fri Ad there's a good chance someone will see her. We don't give up easily! Misty ..it's time you showed yourself again please! Absolutely everything crossed we get a new sighting.

- I/we would like to thank every one for the kind comments for our loss of Toby who has been a good old friend with the the normal old grump or two and very much a bit of a loaner when indoors but loved to chase a ball with the other dogs. This is the first time that we have ever lost a dog over night while he was asleep. We think that is the best way to have him leave us as you do not have to make that horrible decision. It seems a bit strange as he always barked when you came home barked when you sprayed a can and kept his nose on the vacuum cleaner as you pushed it round! just in case it needed its wheels nipped! and now none of that seems strange. We would also like to thank Clive and Linda ( Spitfire )and hope they find Molly soon. With Misty If she is where her last sighting was its in a bit of ground with not many houses around and we reckon a fairly good source of food so sightings are only if some one is around possibly at dusk or dawn? Thanks again to all the helpers Bob and Rene.
- 2013-04-13 19:49 Spitfire
- Sorry to hear about the loss of your Toby it must be hard for you. Molly has been missing nearly 6 month now so we know how you feel. Linda and Clive Molly's owners

Just hoping and keeping fingers crossed that the forecast better weather will bring her out into the open again. Am going to put her photo all over Facebook again tonight so we can get lots of shares .. hope everyone else will do the same! Stay strong .. we are all rooting for you to be reunited. - Hi all, just to say that Misty is in the Friday Ad again this week.We are just hoping that we will get that call to let us know what area she is in so that we can start searching for her again. Its been almost seven weeks since the last sighting and nearly seven months since she went missing and we are not sure what else we can do but we wont give up. The house seems very strange without Toby as we had him for almost 13 years and he was always at the door to greet us when we came home. Fingers crossed for that call and thanks for all your sopport. Bob and Rene

- So sorry to hear about poor Toby - albeit a lovely way to go. You deserve some happy news soon, fingers crossed.
- 2013-04-10 10:52 SpringerMad
- Yes, 13 is a good age, but still a great loss for you. I believe in the saying that bad things happen in thress. You have lost misty, been scammed with the newspaper and now losing dear Toby. So that is your run of bad luck out of the way. Now we all hope and pray that little misty will show herself and be safely home with you very shortly. Are you ok for printing because I can always do some posters if you ever need them, and drop them over?
- 2013-04-09 19:54 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Hope you are both staying strong. Wow! What a good age Toby was .. and lucky to have such a great life with you. We need some warm weather which will hopefully get Misty out in the open again. I'll bump this page again when the ad is in.
- 2013-04-09 19:36 Rene
- Thanks for your comment and yes it does seem that we are having a bad time at the moment, we just keep hoping that things will get better.Toby was almost thirteen so he was not a bad age but it was such a shock as he had just seemed his usual self all day saturday. I traveled through Ellenwhore lane three times yesterday searching as i had a day of work but no luck, there is so much open ground as well as woods so she could be hiding up anywhere. Bob spoke to the person that saw her about six weeks ago and he has been checking the area as well.P.S Bob missed out a few letters on his comment this morning it should have read (Misty should be back in the Friday Ad this week with slightly amended wording) Thanks Bob and Rene.
- 2013-04-09 18:23 SpringerMad
- Oh no. I am so very sorry to hear about Toby. What a terrible time you are both having. Was he quite elderly? It never rains, it pours doesn't it. I hope you are both ok.
- 2013-04-09 07:55 Bob
- G'Morning, Just a quick one to say thanks for the kind comments and that Mist Should be back on now plus in this weeks Friday Add. Many thanks Bob and Rene

- So sorry for your loss x hope misty comes home soon x
- 2013-04-08 02:54 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Oh no..I'm so sorry to hear that. It must have been such a shock for you both when he seemed to be ok, but at least he didn't suffer. The house must seem very quiet now. I really do feel for you both. Definitely not giving up on Misty .. even more reason to keep the search going now.
- 2013-04-07 17:24 Rene
- Hi,thanks for the information on plotting a map as to where Misty has been sighted and tracked it does seem to be in a triangle. We will be printing more posters and putting up in the places where some of the posters have gone missing from.Everyone our end knows she is still missing and still keep an eye out for her, we are always looking when we go out hoping she will show herself.Had quite a shock this morning woke up to find our collie Toby had died in his sleep, he hadnt been ill but was struggling with his back legs, he had arthiritus in all his joints. Bob had let him out before he came to bed at 2am as usual and he seemed fine but when we woke at 6.30 he had died, but i suppose that was a nice way for him. Thanks again for all your help Bob and Rene.
- 2013-04-04 01:02 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Plotting is simply a case of getting a map and putting pins or marks on it corresponding to all the places that Misty has been seen in. The places that Tiga tracked her are positive sightings .. so could be one colour and other unconfirmed ones could be in another. So Rock Lane, Broad Oak, Chitcombe Road, Broad Street at Icklesham, Fairlight, the field behind Industrial Park at Westfield and Westfield Rd would all be on there. If you think it was her that Bob saw in your lane then that should be on it too..I think you will find that it will make a triangle. Then you need to make sure that ALL the places within that triangle have loads of posters displayed. Last time I drove down Rock Lane I could not see any at all, so you should definitely put some up there. Wonndering why the kennel owners have not put them up in the area .. I think you should ask them. It may feel like you are starting all over again, but you need to ensure that people know Misty is still missing. I am working over in Lunsford X at the moment or I would do it myself. Please use the Doglost posters .. if anyone spots Misty they may not remember your tel number or where they saw a poster, but most will remember that it was a Doglost poster and will be able to look Misty up on this site. Also you could put "Misty Doglost page 43310 contact 01424 813925/07774 949294" on a small credit card size paper slips and attach it to your big posters (in a plastic cash bag to protect from weather) for people to take & keep in their pocket. Would be good to put posters in doors again too .. A5 size is easy to print and saves ink! That should give you plenty to do, but DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP! Misty is out there and will be seen again soon, I'm sure.
- 2013-04-03 18:44 Rene
- We hoped that we would too but so far no luck but still keep hoping that one day we will get her back home with us.Until she shows herself again we are not sure where to search as she seems to be travelling around all the time,we do agree with you that as the weather warms up she will be out and about more.Last week we had a e.mail from head office as to plotting the area she has been travelling in but are still waiting for the information to help us do that, perhaps it will help us in our search? Thanks again to all who are helping in our search to get her home. Bob and Rene
- 2013-04-03 00:19 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Was hoping you would have had a new sighting from the advert that was in. Hopefully one will come in soon. Some warmer weather would help too .. to bring her out in the open again. Keep up the postering and searching Bob and Rene .. our fingers are all crossed that we find her soon.

- Have 'bumped' .. ad in Fri Ad today. Hope you get some calls Bob and Rene. We are all rooting for her to show herself so we can get her home to you. Do not give up! Keep up with the postering as it just takes that one person to contact you with a sighting.
- 2013-03-28 17:12 Bob
- Hi,just to say that Mistys ad is in the Friday Ad today, just hope that we might get that call now that the weather seems to be improving. We still keep looking out for her wherever we go, friends and family all have her posters displayed in their cars hoping that someone may have seen her. Thanks again for all your support Bob and Rene.

- Hi, Just to update, I have had a return email from the guy at Friday Add who said sorry that the add had not made last weeks add but will be in Friday 29th paper. PS just to say we did pay for the scam add! we have put it on the on line report a crime list today, many thanks Bob and Rene.
- 2013-03-23 21:27 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Unfortunately they are scammers. I have reported this to Doglost Admin and they have put a warning regarding advertising on the main Doglost page. Maybe the Fri Ad did not get the ad in the paper as it was too late in the week? It is on their online site though .. link is on my post below. Please continue to share and tweet re Misty .. we are determined to get her home. Thanks!
- 2013-03-23 20:09 SpringerMad
- Hi bob and rene. I have just done a quick google, and they do seem to be scammers unfortunately. I Hope you haven't parted with any money? I gather they try to take more as and when they want if they have your bank card details. It is disgusting that they have preyed on you in this way. If you google them you will read alot of people who have been duped by them. What a bloody nightmare.
- 2013-03-23 19:50 Bob
- Hello to every one, Just to say that I did put an advert on Friday Add this week which should have gone on line and in the paper? But as it is our bad time for bad adverts at the moment! ( just been seen off by what we think are scam' ers who pose as advertisers, take your money and then you think? I do not remember seeing The South East Telegraph?) I/WE would like to know if any one has seen such a paper for sale? for some reason Friday Add did not put the add in to the paper? I do not know why? I have emailed them and await a reply ! Just hope to here some more about Misty Thanks to all Bob and Rene.

- Hi Bob and Rene, please be assured we will NEVER stop looking for Misty. We check here every day and it is part of our routine to look out for her on our school run, and I mention her to any dog walkers I meet. It must be very painful not to have her around, I can only imagine what it feels like, but we are all hoping and praying she'll be back home where she belongs.

- Hi everyone its six months today since our little Misty went missing we still miss her terribly, house is not the same without her here. - If possible would you update microchip details as very important as that links details to Halo angel scanner. Not seen by anyone other than yourself or those with admin access.
It would not do any harm to ring petlog just to make a point of stating she is still missing and make sure they hold correct phone numbers including mobiles.
So many know she is missing so hopefully a postive sighting soon will bring her home. - 2013-03-07 18:06 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Thanks for the update. We are all here to support you and we are all still looking for Misty. I will bump her page next week when the ad goes in. - Hi all thankyou again for all your support and yes it is sometimes difficult to keep positive but all the time we keep getting sightings it gives us hope that one day we will get her back home. She was in the Friday ad a couple off weeks ago and will be putting her in again next week just so people know that she is still missing. Have been going to where she was last sighted most days but no luck as yet but hoping for another sighting soon. Bob and Rene.

- Morning all, we are still checking this page every day, as well as looking out for little Misty. Keep positve, I'm sure she will pop up again soon now the weather is improving.

- Just thought I'd say DO NOT GIVE UP .. I know it must be hard but there are a lot of dogs being reunited at the moment and we aim to make MISTY one of them. The sun may bring her out into the open a little more so let's hope for a new sighting very soon. Come on Misty .. your mum and dad want you home.

- Good Morning to All, Just to say we went up to the spot where our little girl was seen and put up Three posters around that area.We had a call plus a dog whistle for Misty but to no avail, but it was mid afternoon so not the best time! We put up more posters around the area round in Watch Place Lane etc: While we were in Ellenore Lane we meet a land owner who lived just below where Misty was seen who walks his dog and will give me a call straight away if he has a sighting. So we just hope that she is still around the area and we have some more sightings! Many thanks for every ones help. Bob and Rene

- Hi everybody we are out postering today near to where Misty was last sighted but have not had much luck with the printer today so havent done as many as we had hoped. Have spoken to Jenny but she is busy at the moment tracking elsewhere but will be in touch at some point to check the sighting out,at least the weather is warming up now and hopefully Misty will venture out and we will get another sighting soon. Thanks again for helping in our search for her Bob and Rene.

- Hi all, just an update to say Bob went and met the person who sighted Misty a couple of weeks ago and he took him to the place where he saw her.She was apparently just the other side of a fence about 10metres away in a field, she looked up when the whistle was sounded and his dog barked she then turned and walked towards the wood, turned round again, looked, turned away and walked towards the woods. Have sent a message to Jenny just to see if she thinks its worth coming and tracking to confirm or not that it was Misty. We will go up there at the weekend and put some more posters up in the hope that we might get another sighting. Bob and Rene

- How did the meeting go Bob?
- 2013-02-26 17:14 Bob
- Hi,just to let you know we have been in touch with the person who saw Misty and are going to meet him tomorrow all being well as he now has this awful flu bug. He is going to show us exactly where he saw her apparently she came out of the wood when he blew the whistle, looked at him when his dog barked and then wandered back into the wood.As far as he could tell she didnt seem frightened at all, were not sure if this is what happens after they have been missing for a while as she has been missing for over five months now! We will try and get hold of Jenny and see what she thinks about coming down and tracking as its now been a couple of weeks since the sighting.Hoping for another sighting soon and maybe catch up with her and get her back home, shes been out there too long and we want her back home with us.Thanks again Rene and Bob.
- 2013-02-24 21:27 Bob
- Hi everyone just to say we are both feeling much better now and sorry to say there have no more sightings since last weeks. We did consider getting in touch with Jenny but as we were both not feeling that well decided against it.We have not relocated the box as we are not sure where to put it as she may have moved on again, we will try to contact the person who saw her last week to see if he has any updates. Thanks again for all your help Bob and Rene.

- Hi Bob and Rene. Hope you are both well now. Have you had any more news of Misty? Have you managed to put the box near to where the last sighting was? Expect it was a little cold for a bbq especially when you were not feeling too well. Keep fingers crossed that you spot her again or for another sighting soon.
- 2013-02-20 16:51 Bob
- Hi just to say thanks Sue for the information on the found sheltie,we have checked it out but sorry to say it is not Misty we rang in with microchip no but by then the owners had been found and the dog had been reunited was a long shot but had to be checked out. Thanks again for everybodys help in trying to find our little girl Bob and Rene.
- 2013-02-20 14:48 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Hi Sue, Thanks .. have just looked at link but there is no sheltie on there now, so presumably it has been claimed by it's owner.
- 2013-02-20 07:04 sukimax
- Hi, There is a sheltie here, http://strayaction.com/viewpage.php?page_id=27 I dont think it is Misty because of white on paws but please just check, SueXX

- Hi everyone no more sightings to report after mondays, its so frustrating to think that shes only a few miles from home but we cant find her. Things have been a bit difficult this week as ive been laid up with flu and Bob has had a busy week at work so have not been able to do much in the way of searching but hopefully we will get more time next week. Thanks for your help Rene and Bob.
- 2013-02-13 18:20 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Another one in the same area so Misty is still travelling around it seems. A fox screecher is basically a whistle with a very high pitch sound so hope it hasn't frightened her off! Hope you gave poster to the stable owners I mentioned previously as they are in this area. Definitely worth seeing if JB would be around to check this and maybe the 14 Acre lane sighting. Still keeping everything crossed!
- 2013-02-13 07:35 SpringerMad
- Morning all, brilliant. Wonder if Jenny is about to see if Tiga can sniff her out. Will be keeping a close eye when on the school run this morning, and if you need any help, this is all very near to me. Good luck!
- 2013-02-13 00:46 Bob
- Good evening All,After a few days where not much seems to have been heard, Out of the blue today a guy I know popped in at work and said that yesterday he was out in the woods in the area between Chittcome road and Staplecross/Horns Cross in Ellenore Lane he said he sounded off a Fox Screchker? and a small dog ran out and away from him. This morning he noticed a Misty poster in a friends car and said that's just like the small dog that he had seen yesterday! He said that he would give it another try when he is next down there and call me straight away! So we are keeping every thing crossed! He also said that he knows the owners of the ground well and that it would not be a problem to track there! lets just hope that we get a call from him to say she is still there.I/we hope I/we can post up some good news tomorrow Bob and Rene.

- Jenny's away this weekend but if owners do bbq and put clothing and food nearby they may get lucky. Fingers crossed.
- 2013-02-08 19:20 SpringerMad
- Oh this is getting exciting! It would be brilliant to see if Jenny and Tiga were able to confirm if this is your girl.
- 2013-02-08 18:33 jobadger
- Yes - so encouraging! I so hope this little girl is home with you very soon. xx
- 2013-02-08 15:54 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Hi Bob, Oh that is encouraging! Hope it is Misty.. it would definitely be a good idea to get that bbq going .. in the evening and at about the same time as you saw her .. lots of smelly offerings! Also try ringing Jenny (if you haven't already!) to see if she is able to come and track or bring the dogtrap down. Have everything crossed that it's her and you get her home this time. Come on Misty .. go home!
- 2013-02-08 01:10 Bob
- Evening every one, Just to say its been another quirt few days without any news of Misty but today ( this afternoon ) a lady who lives just along the lane said she had seen a small dog or fox like animal trotting along the lane and about fifty mins: later after I dropped Home I drove off to work and about five hundred yards along are lane ( Fourteen Acre Lane ) just through the hedge in the wooded bit on the left, I saw a small dog / fox like animal but by the time I backed up and looked I could not see it? I gave a call or two but No! So I think I /we will get our box with sniffs and food / treats and put near home and see If Misty is lurking about close to home! We can only hope!! all the best to one and all for all the help and encouragement Bob and Rene.

- With the wonderful news of Troubles return, So hoping for good news about Misty, Come on Misty, Time you came home, XX
- 2013-02-03 21:04 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Maybe it's time to get that bbq going again! Keep swamping the area with posters and more posters .. someone has to see her again if she is so close.
- 2013-02-03 19:56 Bob
- Hi everyone, just to say that since we put clothing and food down at last sighting Misty has not been back seems she has moved on again. It seems shes always one step ahead of us and we just have to hope and pray for another sighting soon.Every sighting gives us hope that she is still ok and that one day she will be back home with us but it is so frustrating as the sightings are all quite close to home. Thanks again to everybody for all your help Bob and Rene.

- Hi everyone, Thank you for all your help, I have spoken to JB today and we are now just keeping our fingers crossed that our little babe shows herself at the venue where the box with our clothing and goodies are! the owners of the property are keeping an eye and I think a cctv aimed at the box so we should know if she comes by! I am under instruction by JB to contact her as soon as there is a confirmed return there so as to get on track, so to speak.we just hope to here soon! Thanks for all your help Bob and Rene.
- 2013-01-31 22:03 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Spoke to Rene about this latest sighting and it's much closer to her home now. The owners of the property are doing everything they can to help find Misty so let's hope she goes back there. Turns out it's a rellie of a friend of mine! There's a lot of woods and open fields in the area .. all of which would lead Misty back home if only she would go the right way! Bob .. If they think Misty is going back to their place then it would be an idea to ask JB to bring the dogtrap that you kindly donated down to see if she could be caught. Everything crossed once again! - 2013-01-30 22:25 JB
- Let me know more about this sighting, it sounds like it might be worth coming down again with Tiga to track. Keep checking the cameras as often as possible. Keep me posted.
- 2013-01-30 17:21 Bob
- Just to let you know we have been and put box with clothes and food where she was possibly seen and yes it was in somebody`s garden. He has also offered to put up a camera to see if she or any other animal goes there. He hasn`t heard any barking since so she may have moved on again but its worth a try just in case she is still in the area, everything crossed she will show her face again. And yes we have printed out some business card size adverts as you suggested and handed them out to people as it just needs that one call that could get her back home.
- 2013-01-30 10:34 Baggy Dog
- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. I expect all the locals know about her but may not have your phone number in their heads. Good luck.

- This is quite hopeful. Would be lovely to get a tracker down to see if it is her. Is this someone's garden or in the rural bit between the 2 villages? Sunday is not long back so fingers crossed she is still around that area. Have all the sightings been at night, as I suppose she hides up during the day, making everyones job twice as hard!

- Hi everyone just to update you, food still not touched at Broadoak site but the area she was tracked to has been cleared ready for building work to start so we dont think she will return there. We have collected the box etc to take to another site that she may be near as we had a call from someone who possibly saw and heard her on Sunday evening. It could be her as it was between Westfield and Three Oaks not far from where she was sighted just over a week ago.The person that called was going to put some food down and see (if it was her)she returns. Thank you again for everybodys help in the search for Misty. Bob and Rene.

- Keep at it! Maybe you could find another suitable place to put food/clothing .. near to the last sighting? If the person whose garden Misty went through agrees that would be a good one. At least you have some sunshine to help you today.

- Evening all, Just to say we have checked the sight tonight but still nothing gone I am sorry to say. I did however have another report of a small dog barking at 3am this morning in the area across the road from the Red Lion at Brede near the church? I am waiting to here if this continues tomorrow! We will hope to here some thing. Many Thanks for every ones help trying to find our babe Bob and Rene

- Well done putting the clothes and food out .. I know it's a long shot but even if there are workmen there in the daytime, Misty may go back there at night when it's quiet, so worth a go. Just keep at it. Would you be able to put some in the garden she went through on Saturday .. as perhaps she uses the same routes more than once?
- 2013-01-22 20:51 Bob
- Hi again just to say we popped up to where we have left food and clothing today but hasn`t been touched unfortunately, did wonder because of the work that is going on there. Workmen there again today so will be surprised if she does go back but will check the next few days just in case.If only we could find where she is hiding out but it seems as though she is still moving from one area to another all the time.Just waiting for the next sighting.Bob and Rene

- Hi everyone just to let you know we have postered all of the houses along the road near to where Misty was last seen which was saturday evening,we also put up more laminated posters around that area. Have left a cardboard box with some clothing and smelly sardines where Jenny suggested at Broad Oak just in case she goes back there as she is in that area but not sure she will go there as since she was tracked there someone has scrubbed some of the land closeby. We will have to check every day to see if anything happens. Keeping everything crossed for some positive news. Bob and Rene

- This is a msg fm the owner of Holly 39774 reunited after 7 months just before Christmas. Thought it might help ...
For those of you just starting out or still looking for your beautiful girls and boys..
Poster, poster and poster again....check the map and poster again.
E-mail evryone you can think of and get the word out.
Harrass the radio, papers and TV stations until someone listens....you can get advertising for free...we did!
And once you find where your baby is......
Scent, feed, search.....watch for runs and beds....once you have that...lure with cooking, scenting, feeding, set up traps, cameras, camp out and even just sit and watch all times of the day and night.
I have done all of these things day in and day out for nearly 7 months and now my girl is home safe and sound.Last edited: 2013-01-21 16:58:27 by Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex - 2013-01-21 08:35 Bob

We think it will be party time When Misty comes Home! and pate too if that's what is needed! Once again Thank Every one for all there great help in some very poor conditions. Bob and Rene - 2013-01-20 21:23 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Thanks Springermad ..seems Misty's still in the Broad Oak, Westfield, Fairlight triangle as last sighting was off Udimore Rd.. so really just important to impress on anyone who sees her to ring owners IMMEDIATELY .. if they can't go out then Samellie & I can go. Reckon pate will be on the menu when we reunite her!! Thanks too to Samellie .. who went out again Sat night along Westfield Lane to Downs Oak Farm, had a look around fields & disused barns but no sign of Misty.Last edited: 2013-01-20 23:17:32 by Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex

- I would love to help in a more active way than just passing the word and looking out when we are walking and driving. Have stayed away from specific areas like the one on the westfield bit because we don't want to scare her off, or mess up pawprints, tracks, but if you get any positive sightings and need people on the ground, I am happy to help. We are northiam by the way, so just a few mins away.
- 2013-01-20 18:13 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- I agree Springermad .. trouble is we always seem to be one step behind Misty ...think she's a 'canny' dog! Need to get out there fast when these sightings happen, but the information is always several hours if not days later! Everything crossed she will go to the food and clothes in this weather..then we have a fighting chance of getting her.
- 2013-01-20 18:07 SpringerMad

- More encouraging news. Spoke to Bob and they were going out to poster in area of new sighting. Have again said to put clothes and food back in area Jenny suggested and also in the garden Misty may hv been seen in if owner is agreeable. Was only an hour of daylight though so hope they did this! Still think pawprints at Westfield were Misty and she could have got back to Broad Oak since Friday. Oh .. come on Misty, stay somewhere we can find you please! Time to go home.

- Just had a call from a friend who said that there could have been a sighting last night between 6 and 6.30 on the road from Broad Oak to Rye.She crossed the road from Stubbs Lane and went into a garden opposite. Will print up some posters to put through letterboxes of houses along the main road in that area as someone in the houses may have seen her about.Bob and Rene.

- We (Samellie & others) went out and put posters up yesterday & did a search. Bob & Rene joined us after we had been out for a while.
Samellie & I spk to lady who owns the field Misty was sighted in.. she gave full permission for us to go there .. also Jenny & Tiga if she is able to get here. Will allow us to put a dogtrap on her land (if sightings confirmed) too provided it is checked daily. We did find lots of dog tracks in the snow (leading to the stream at bottom & bk up to top again) in the field next door to where Misty had been spotted crossing the road, also on verge/in field on opp side of road. The snow would have covered any tracks in the other field, but I really feel that they were her footprints that we saw. They ran alongside rabbit prints so it looks as though that is how she is surviving! Bob & Rene agreed. (Oh & thanks for the pate Bob, it's lovely!) Hopefully when Jenny is able to extricate herself from the snow she may be able to come to have a scout around and confirm whether they are Misty's or not. Hope she & Tiga are keeping warm.

- Just an update, went out yesterday with Gina and her family and friend from Whitelands kennels to search the area where Misty was sighted. We went into a field near to where she was sighted and found paw prints in the snow which could have been hers. We also went down to Woodlands holiday park and spoke to a lovely lady there who has taken some posters for us and is going to spread the word, also went to Freshfields farm shop and did the same.We spoke to a person in a white van who drives in the area three times a week and he took some posters and said he would a look out for her as well, just have to keep putting the word out there!!! By the way Bob rang JB on friday and at that time was snowed in down in Dorset. Thanks again to everyone for all they are doing to find Misty.
- 2013-01-19 13:40 SpringerMad
- pawprints even!!

- Ooooo! This sounds good! Not only is it near to you, but it's also near to the other sighting you had before Christmas and where Tiga tracked in Westfield. I know the lady who owns the farm that field is on .. I will try to ring her in the morning .. I'll let you know if I am successful. Will also text Samellie in case she has not seen this as her kennels are very close too. Suggest you go to Freshfields Farm shop again and let them know that there has been a new sighting. Have you rung JB?

- Hi just to let you know that Bob had one of his customers in today who were convinced that they saw Misty yesterday evening at about ten o`clock between Woodlands holiday park and Ripleys yard which is between Westfield and Hastings. She crossed the road and went into the field where they hold events for horses but by the time they had turned their car around she had dissappeared. This does sound possible as these fields back onto where she went missing and people do say that they very often go back to where they first got lost.Fingers crossed this was Misty and if it was she is still ok.There is also an Ad in the FridayAd today we are hoping that we will get that call that will get her back home with us.Thanks again everybody for your help to find her.Bob and Rene

- That's great .. speaking to people often works well as they remember afterwards & pass it on to others too. It may seem odd leaving clothes and food when no sighting but if Misty is still in the area she has bn spotted in (and tracked to)it has to be worth a go. Even if the food is not taken..and I know this can be disheartening when no obvious result, please keep this up as long as possible as she may well go back there especially if the weather goes colder. Fingers and everything crossed you get a new sighting soon. I will ask admin to bump this page on Friday when FriAd comes out.

- Hi everybody just an update, didn`t get chance to put food and clothing down on sunday but will go and do it after work 2morrow been a bit hectic the last few days.Spoke to quite a few people on sunday the more that are aware that she is still missing the more chance we will get another sighting! Spend all my time to and from work just looking across all the open fields around just hoping i might get a glimpse of her.Just hoping the ad in this weeks Friday Ad will jog someones memory. Heres hoping for that call.Rene

- If this is Misty and she's barking at night then it would be worth Bob going to the area to see if she would respond to him.. preferably with a can of very smelly sardines! BBQ time if you can find a suitable place .. Sat it's meant to be v wet but Sunday is supposed to be dry.
- 2013-01-11 09:11 SpringerMad
- This is more positive! I have been looking at the 'triangle' that Misty may be making. I have a friend who lives in chitcombe road with dogs, so will be contacting her with this link. Is the night barking coming directly from these woods near the crossroads do you know?
- 2013-01-10 22:07 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Oh wow! That sounds good altho not the crossing the road bit. Is exactly the same area Tiga tracked her in Oct .. & luckily where Marianne and friends hv bn putting posters up so locals shld be aware. If she's still in that area then perhaps you can go there & follow the advise that Jenny gave you back then .. that you should visit regularly with food and clothing and have a BBQ and sit and wait maybe in the car watching, but not to lay a scent towards the road. Perhaps ask JB if it would be worth seeing if she's still going to the garages you mentioned and putting a trap somewhere near there? Oh goodness .. come on Misty, we're not giving up on you.
- 2013-01-10 07:50 Bob
- Good Morning to all, We would like to thank everyone for all there help with Misty. Last night I had a call which ( could be if it was Misty! where she maybe or the area of:- ) The call was from a friend and very much into the dog world as is her family, It seems that Misty could have been seen about a fortnight ago as she ran across the Chittcombe Road ( B2089 ) Back towards the Cripps Corner End around the woods plus of late they have been hearing a small dog barking late at night and are fairly sure that none of there neighbours have any small dogs and that is close to where she was before at Broad Oak near the cross roads in the woods behind between the Rye and Northiam Roads. We will keep our fingers crossed and just hope some thing comes of this! we need a positive after what seems a long break. Many thanks Bob and Rene

- Good idea to spread the word further. So far (to recap) there have been positive sightings (confirmed by Tiga) in Fairlight, Broad Street (Icklesham)& Broad Oak/Brede.. and orginally in Rock Lane (Pug Alley) where she was lost. Also probable sighting in Westfield and maybe once back in Three Oaks too .. which in fact makes a triangle so hopefully Misty is still somewhere within this, although she could have got further afield. Going on Doglost experts views, dogs mostly stay in triangle tho. (I ran out of cable ties so some of mine may hv gone, but they were in Fairlight area!)
- 2013-01-09 19:58 marianne
- i agree clarkey but ive been using cable ties my dog/house sitter has taken some posters today to put up further afield just in case.come on misty show yourself again time to come home now

- Springermad .. thanks for yr help. Marianne .. thank you & well done! That's very kind of you to tel them & I'm glad they hv agreed to leave the posters up now. I think some posters have come down because of the weather & perhaps others 'cos people think she has bn found/bn up so long. Also a lot of posters hv bn put directly through doors so people hv the tel nmbr to hand. I too am not going to give up, so rest assured Bob & Rene we will keep looking/postering and getting the word out there. - Oh I meant to add, that there was a lovely reunited story of a Lancashire Heeler, found after 3 years! Give hope to everybody that does. Bob and Rene, we will all keep looking until she is found. Funny, I now associate Westfield and Three Oaks automatically with Misty, so we shall certainly not stop looking.
- 2013-01-09 09:57 SpringerMad
- Marianne, that is awful. I did wonder if this was going on because when Misty was first postered, I never saw any up. Then there was second round of postering before Christmas which we did see. Why would people want to take them down, it is bizarre.

- hi ive been putting up posters every where for bob and when walking my dogs this morning someone has taken them down so im back out again shortly to put more up and will keep doing so until this lady is in the blue

- I've been putting Misty's poster on Fbk lots recently and on most of the missing dog pages too. I know it must be hard, but you are doing the right thing .. keep getting the word out there that she is still missing and keep postering .. anywhere and everywhere. I've had friends say that they saw the advert in the Observer, so even if there were no sightings from it at least it has raised awareness. Also please keep checking the animal warden website, the kennels, vets etc. DO NOT GIVE UP .. the areas she has been seen in are very open and there are so many fields/woods etc for her to survive in without being spotted. Misty .. it's really time to show yourself again .. PLEASE.

- Just to let you know took other dog Lucy to b e groomed yesterday and Vicky has updated poster for us as well as taking a poster to her friend who is another dog groomer. Some of my friends at work have also put Misty on their face book pages as the more people know that she is still missing the more liklehood of another sighting. Fingers crossed for another sighting soon so frustrating not hearing anything just makes us wonder if she is still o.k. Am always looking out for her when im out walking or driving just in case she is near home. Just waiting for that call. Rene

- Hi, Thanks for the info we will go on and up date on the Sheltie site after we have registered with them. Many thanks for every ones help that we keep getting Bob and Rene.
- 2013-01-07 17:59 SpringerMad
- We are still checking in here every day to see if there is any news, as well as keeping a look out for her on our school runs, and dog walks. We really hope that there will be a sighting soon. I notice there was a thread on a Sheltie site about Misty. Hopefully this link will work, as it may be worth while putting an update on there. (you may have seen it in anycase, but thought it worth a mention).

- Good Morning, Just to up date all who watch, I rang and meet Marianne yesterday morning, she kindly popped down to my works and picked up some new posters plus some of the small credit card size laminated small picture and where to call if seen as soon as possible which is what we need. Then hope it is a time when the very busy Jenny and Tiga are available at such a desperate time as that tells us that Misty has been there and with hope for once within an hour or so behind Misty! Once again thanking every one for all the help. Rene has taken and left some of the small cards at Roselands Where she works for all the visitors. Once again Many Thanks Bob and Rene.

Hopefully the weather will stay dry so that we can get out and about and put them up.Thanks for all you are doing to try and find Misty and keeping everything crossed for another sighting soon.Wishing you a happy new year and hoping Misty will be home soon.

- Have spent a lot of time putting Misty's poster on lots of Fbk pages last couple of days. Lots and lots of shares have been done .. will definitely keep her in the minds of people. Also Missing-Stolen Dogs Groups on Fb said "have made a poster and lightened her pic so its much clearer - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=311467585621788&set=a.200782986690249.32794.122936117808270&type=1&theater" Will start the New Year with lots of people seeing Misty's poster .. just need that one person to report a sighting .. PLEEEASE let it be!

- Hi Bob and Rene, Yes I think you are right to start checking the old posters and making sure they are still there and visible. When time elapses and people do not hear news they often think the dog has been found. There are also so many places that Misty could be holed up in this foul weather and so many open areas around the places where there have been positive sightings. So poster power has to be the way to go. I say again .. DO NOT GIVE UP! I will be out and about to help look again as soon as I have shaken off the dreaded 'lurgy' I have! Today I have sent email to Westfield Community website asking them to add info about Misty on to their page. Sooner or later someone will spot your little girl again .. come on Misty, please show yourself again, your ma and pa are still looking for you so you can go home.
- 2012-12-28 10:09 Bob
- Good morning to all, I am sorry to say we have not heard any more over Christmas and we start to wonder if Misty just keeps moving around? then we think has she gone off round the same circuit again? or gone to ground as weather fairly poor! Have just made up another version of cards and posters so will start to replace, as when we popped into one of our locals the other night the old poster was gone as some one had said to them that Misty had been found! and they were quite surprised when we said that she was still on the missing list with a couple of possible sightings. Well once again we thank every one for all the help that thy have given and that it would be a nice Christmas Present for us if she just came through the open side gate and in the back cat flap. Bob and Rene.
- 2012-12-21 20:53 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Keep at it Bob. If she is near to home then those posters you are putting up will help. Someone must see her soon .. keeping fingers crossed.

- Hi just to let everybody know we had a call of possible sighting at Udimore so took poster to show to person who had seen a dog in their back garden but was not Misty was a short haired dog. There was also a possible sighting not far from home so walked Lucy our other dog up the lane and through the fields calling and scenting but so far no luck. Have also given out more updated posters to people i work with to put up. Just waiting for next sighting or call.Bob and Rene.
- 2012-12-17 23:20 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Hi Bob, When you are printing posters I wonder if it may help to also print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Then you could give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. As Misty is nervous and not likely to go to anyone then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you.
- 2012-12-17 01:13 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Hope you got my text Bob. Sooo frustrating waiting for another new sighting.. but suggest you use your time ringing around the kennels and rescue centres and checking the animal wardens site, just in case they have had her come in. Have seen posters you've put up .. keep at it. You can never have too many posters .. POSTER POWER is so important now. Everywhere and anywhere, but especially in the areas of previous sightings. Come on Misty .. time to go home girl.

- Just to say Hi to every one and say that it all has seemed to go quirt on the sighting front! and its very hard when you don't know which way Misty could have gone from the field in Westfield (which we think was a good chance )so if that was a good one and she has gone back the way she was seen to go she would be in a fairly open ground with few houses and only a small chance of being seen! We have screwed our side gate open by six inches and put a barrier up at the corner of the building so that if she does come home she can get in through the cat flap that she always used! Mean while we keep hopping for that or another sighting. Many Thanks for every ones help Bob and Rene
- 2012-12-11 16:54 Bob
- Thankyou for helping in the search for Misty we cant believe the amount of help and support we are getting to get her back home. It seems weeks since the last sighting but if it was her at New Cut Westfield it was about two weeks ago. We just wait for the call with another sighting so that we can go and call her. It would be wonderful if she was home for christmas.

- We have been looking out for Misty since she went missing as we drive through Westfield and ThreeOaks twice a day. Really hoping to see the same news as Teasel very shortly. Have noted all the new posters up, so that is good. Hopefully there will be a sighting and we can see her home safely soon.

- You are doing really well Bob and Rene. DO NOT GIVE UP! News came tonight that Teasel has at last been found .. in Burgess Hill and has been reunited with her owner. All thanks to a kind man who found her and had her microchip checked. Teasel had been missing since Aug Bank Hol so you see miracles do happen. I have shared Misty's page on all the sites on Fbk and we will carry on helping you to find her .. no matter how long it takes. It just goes to show that things happen when you least expect it .. and you must NEVER EVER GIVE UP! Come on Misty .. it's your turn to come home now.

- Hi, just to say we put up a few more posters and updated some of the old ones around Three Oaks Station plus sign posts, foot path entrances Brede Place lane foot path, Hundred House lane post, Kings Head Udimore, Three Oaks Pub, Bus Stops Beckley, Northiam, Brede, plus other sign posts and poles. We also put an advert that went in all the local Observers on Friday 30th. We now just wait and hope for the next sighting? Bob and Rene.

- Have been out all morning putting posters thru doors from A28 into Wheel Lane/Cottage Lane telling people I know in area of sighting. Met friends out riding and gave poster to them, also all houses on right hand side. Continued up to Carr Taylor vineyard and went to into Wheel Park Farm (not Will Fm!)opposite there .. Bob & Rene should get a call/text from owner to say if it's ok to go on their land should there be a new sighting (Mr. Hamish Monroe or his rep Mr. Cole. Also told Redlays Dairy whose land backs on to the stream (more a river at the mo) v near to where you went on footpath from bk of W Fm Business Park. There is also another footpath going from Sprays Lane/Wheel Lane (leads into Cottage Lane) intersection .. this footpath splits and goes around to the one that begins at back of business park. where you were tracking. Bit confusing but if you google map it you will see that Wheel Lane turns into Cottage Lane going towards Sedlescombe. Then Cottage Lane goes to the right and continues back to Westfield Rd (A28) where New Cut is. Ran out of posters so had to stop, but did hv look in fields in 8 Acre Lane (where u tracked) and by railway.
- 2012-11-29 08:40 JB
- Yes so disappointed that Tiga did not pick up any good scent yesterday. We do need news of a sighting as soon as it happens, so maybe more posters in the area, posters to the dustmen, milkmen, couriers bus drivers, posters on footpaths, bus stops, in pubs, local shops. We need to establish the area she is hanging out and maybe we can then think of putting up a dog trap and get this little girl home.
- 2012-11-28 21:43 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Wouldn't think that there's another Sheltie in the area, so this looks positive although Tiga was not able to pick up a scent in 8 Acre Lane. However it's been very wet here and wonder if that affects the tracking. Thanks again to Jenny for coming so far to help Bob and Rene. Unfortunately they were unable to get access into the field in Westfield (near Will Farm/New Cut). Samellie .. if you read this she seems to have been near to your area! Have asked friend who works on railways to alert workers that Misty is in the area as she must have crossed the lines if both the Westfield and 8 Acre Lane sightings are correct. Fortunately lines not electric in this area and if any animals are in region of lines there is a policy to go 'under caution' .. seems we have lovely helpful rail staff in this area. Friend has also said he may have a look along trackside (authorized rail staff only areas) to see if he can see any signs of her..apparently foxes use these areas so Misty may too.
- 2012-11-26 18:15 Bob
- Just to update you we had a call from someone this morning who may have seen Misty just off eight acre lane Threeoaks yesterday which is not too far from New Cut Westfield. Seems as though she is not far from home if it was her. Fingers crossed she will show herself again soon thanks again for everybodys help. Bob and Rene.
- 2012-11-26 02:54 Bob

- Just an update to say Thanks very much for the person from Coopers Vets for the sighting of a Sheltie running along the beach on it own alone at Pett Level. We went down to confirm or dismiss depending on what we could find out by asking around the small caravan park. We spoke to two or three people and found out there was some one down there with a young Sheltie and bumped into the owners so alas not Misty but also confirming that the dog was back with his owners. Once again thank all the calls we have to check all that come to be able to be there as soon as possible to have that chance to get close to her! Bob and Rene

- Hi, Just to say we are waiting and willing for the next call! Rene had one of the girls at work say today that her mother walked there dog at 6-30am in the estate near the garages that backs onto the last confirmed sighting at Broad Oak and heard a small dog bark and a scuffing noise around the rear there some where but did not see where exactly! We don't know if she is still around up there some where? We can only hope for another sighting! here is hopping Bob

- We put more food out at Broadoak this weekend but no luck we think she may have moved on. Put more posters up along Chitcombe road yesterday as well as Brede high woods as plenty of dog walkers go there. Dont think it was Misty in Butchers lane but but we lit a barbeque just in case yesterday evening plenty of lovely smells but no Misty! Have also repostered Blackbrookes garden centre with updated poster. Thanks everybody for all your help and we just hope she shows herself again soon x

- Oh my goodness .. let's hope it's her! Quite possible that she's worked her way bk to Butcher's Lane. Go light a barbeque to waft yummy smells around .. you never know it might just entice her if she really is in your area! Fingers, toes and everything crossed!

- Just to let you know that we have been to Broadoak today to check the clothing and food that we put down last night but it was still there so we have moved it to another area close by but still in the area that Tiga tracked. We have also put posters through letterboxes in that area and will go back tomorrow and put more along the Chitcombe road. Tonight we had a call from a friend who thought she may have seen Misty in Butchers lane Three oaks which is not far from where we live so we went to look and call for her but no luck so will try again in the morning. Never know she might find her way home we are all willing her to we need her back home! Bob and Rene.

- Oh well done JB and Tiga .. what a star! That all makes sense and yes must be careful not to encourage her near to the road.
- 2012-11-16 09:45 JB
- Unless we hear confirmation of this possible sighting I think we can assume it has come from Tiga confirmng the sighting of last week. I actually believe that Tiga was face to face with Misty in the undergrowth but she was able to slither out the other side and was off. Had it been a deer it would have scarpered quickly with Tiga in tow and it was not a rabbit. It moved slowly but surely out the opposite side to us and then Tiga tracked in and out of some woods and then in a big loop round along roads and back to the same place except going on past. We decided to call it a day as it was dark and the road was very busy and we didn't want to chase her near roads.
So now we need posters in that area and patience hoping she will settle back down in this area. Owners have to visit regularly with food and clothing and have a BBQ and sit and wait maybe in the car watching. They musn't lay a scent towards the road. Come on Misty - I think you want to be found now and get back in the warm. - 2012-11-16 09:23 Jayne - Head Office

Have offered to help poster on Sunday .. unfortunately think I will be busy Saturday. Is there anyone else that could put some up before then so we could alert people in the area? - Yes it would be good to hear from anyone who knows about this sighting. I have been down again today tracking with Tiga and he confirmed the sighting from last week, so owners are going to put some clothing down with some food in this area and see what happens.

- Hi, just to let everyone know that we did the walk down from Hysted right down to the bottom through the wood and across and up to come out in the Pett road. Up to the top of white hart hill back to Martinau lane back up there to Fairlight Lodge, left and back to Hysted to pick up the car. A quick look around the country park where she had been tracked etc: Once again Thank you all for your help, Bob and Rene

- Other places to try .. English Shetland Sheepdog Rescue: Mrs C Ripley, Hoddesdon, Herts. 01992 461627 and Battersea at Brands Hatch 01474 874994. The old house mentioned below is more derelict than burnt out and is just after a stile and before the pond on the right. Hoping that the sighting at Brede is Misty .. she definietley could have got there by continuing along Broad Street which splits into 2 rough tracks and goes off into woodland. Someone should have told Misty she was supposed to turn left and head towards Doleham and home tho!! Last edited: 2012-11-11 11:42:58 by Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex

- Saw my friends and have permission to track on their land provided we let them know prior to going. There is a footpath starting from Hysted on Fairlight Rd that runs down past this land all way to first part of track leading to Fairlight Hall (turn left & it rejoins Martineau Lane)..where Tiga picked up scent recently. Just off this path is an old burnt out building that a lost dog used before. Also here are some old disused piggerys opposite the entrance to the country park. Worth a try by JB and Tiga if in the area. The barking dog mentioned was heard in the evening & came from opposite same property..so between Martineau Lane & the Pilot field car park..so was not at a time the public would normally be walking dogs. As JB suggeted ringing kennels regularly is important, ones I wld ring are..Blue Cross Northiam, RSPCA Brighton, Barby Keel Sidley, Kit Wilson Uckfield, Raystede Ringmer, Last Chance, Dogs Trust Shoreham & Viking Oak Sevenoaks. Also Highlands Fm Kennels at Horam 01435 813659, which is a new one to me (will mention this one to Teasel's owner too)!Last edited: 2012-11-11 05:49:58 by Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex

- Had long conversation with Rene this evening..I met someone I hadn't seen in years in the supermarket tonight and her elderly mum has a lot of land just off Martineau Lane, near Fairlight Lodge Hotel. As soon as I mentioned Misty was missing, she said that was strange as they had heard a dog barking in their area. Also they had been in their fields and spotted poos that were not belonging to their dogs and were convinced they were not from a fox. This was yesterday and these people are country folk and know animals very well, so I think there is a possibilty it could be Misty. It is absolutely the right area and they said the poo looked too big for their small dog and too small for their big one, also not right for a fox! When Tiga scented down Martineau Lane she picked up scent near Fairlight Hall which is very near to where this lady's private land is. Let's hope this is where Misty is hanging out .. I am going to go and visit them tomorrow and ask if I can have a look around and maybe put a cage with clothing smelling of owners in the field. I have suggested owners try and get a dog trap from somewhere. Admin .. do you know of anyone in the area that we could get one from please? Am keeping everything crossed that this is a positive lead!

- No longer local unfortunately but grew up in the area. The area Misty seems to be covering has a train line (fortunately diesel and not overly busy) running straight through it. The trains are slow and give a good view of the surrounding countryside - postering the stations between Rye and Hastings may be a good idea, to make drivers and passengers aware. Just a thought, have shared on FB, good luck!

- Hi just been out to see a lady, near to where we work in Brede who had just seen a Sheltie just a mile or so away fitting her description. So I have been up to meet her and give a few calls etc: Did Not find her but the lady only called me as she thought it was her neibours dog but when she called hers was at home and was told about our missing Misty! So now I need to locate JB if possible for another track with Tiga before its to late. Hope that is a bit more hope as only this morning. Bob

- Hi, Just to say other than the call from Renes work last week we feel a bit sad to say there seems to be no sightings, just waiting and hope to hear something soon! Here's waiting for that call Bob and Rene.
- 2012-11-05 09:32 JB
- Bob, - we had this with the eyes at Fairlight, we knew they were not bunnies because they did not run off and came closer when called - so we stalked them and they turned out to be badger cubs.
- 2012-11-05 08:27 Bob
- Just to say we would like to thank all the help we have been having, we think that Jenny and Tiga gives us all a much more hope as it backs up sightings,we wait for more sightings! We went just into Broad Street and in the paddock with the owner on Friday evening and went across a couple of fields and on starting back towards Broad Street we could see a pair of eys which remained there until Rene who walked towards the eyes calling Misty, got within a few yards? But we don't know if that could have been her or not. We also thank Clarkey for the help that she has given plus all and anyone behind the scenes Many Thanks Bob and Rene.

- Owners think they may have seen Misty again in the paddock at Broad St. altho not sure. Collected lots of laminated posters and put them up in Broad St area/Icklesham shop/Robin Hood pub. I have also postered the whole of Broad Street right down to the 2 rough tracks and houses on the left (as you go in to B.St.)..could not do more as ran out! Also sat in Country Park car park fm first light giving dog walkers posters to take with them. I will ask owners to check kennels again as suggested but think it unlikely Misty has been picked up as she is so nervous and runs away fm people and other dogs.
- 2012-11-03 10:15 C.J. - POLICE CONTACT CO-ORDINATOR
- This area does not have just one kennel that they use but a number so can always find a space for strays.
When a dog is found animal wardens will check against ones reported as missing to them and then notify owners.
Plus of course Misty is chipped so any rescues would scan for this as well.
Definately worth spreading word to vets etc and in deed any listed rescues found by searching any listed.
- 2012-11-03 10:03 JB
- I think it would be worth someone sitting down and ringing all the vets, the kennels, police, dog wardens, rangers, those that empty the car park machines etc again as when I tried to do it it was almost impossible to find out where a dog was taken in this area if it was picked up. Tiga picked up good scent in the car park at Fairlight and it could be possible Misty has been picked up there and sitting in kennels. I know she is microchipped but sometimes they do 'vanish' and don't work and as per the message on the home page of this web - there is a bad batch out there that do not read. There must be more kennels not contacted.

- Bumped for sightings.

- Productive morning doing posters .. also spoke to Catherine who is the East Hastings St. Warden covering Fairlight area. Cathy has emailed info and picture of Misty to the Country Park Rangers so they will keep a look out for Misty, which is great news as she is in that area. Also informed Mallydams re confirmation of Misty in the area as their reserve is imbetween area of both sightings. Dare I say it is looking good? POSTER POWER is what we need .. so I'm going to get out there and do more tomorrow. We just need Misty to show herself now! Come on Misty .. time to get you home!
- 2012-11-02 11:44 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Hv bn keeping in touch wiht Bob and Rene thru emails and sooo pleased to hear that Tiga found a scent! Now we know which fields Misty was seen in!! Excellent news indeed backing up the 2 sightings that Bob and Rene had info on. Have postered as many places in Fairlight as possible and informed as many private landowners/farmers I can contact. Will go and help do more posters if needed tomorrow as not bogged down with work then.

- Worth a bump then if its Tiga and Jenny...what a team...Taught by Owl and Whisper...
- 2012-11-01 23:09 JB
- Yes Tiga confirmed 2 possible sightings, so these 2 places need to have more posters put up in the hope that other sightings will take place and reported sooner so that we can get Misty home soon. Willing to go down again as soon as we get another sighting. Come on Misty Lucy is missing you.
- 2012-11-01 21:29 Bob
- I would just like to thank Jenny for all the help today with tiga who performed just magic! and now backs up the sightings, once again thank you for your help Bob and Rene.
- 2012-11-01 09:36 JB
- Just spoken to the owner and as Tiga is on a roll at the moment I could well be going down to track this little girl and see if we can get her home.

- Met Rene today whilst out postering! Have tried to alert farmers/land owners in Fairlight area, and have put posters where local people will go .. Fairlight P.O.(where I met Rene doing the same thing!) Wakeham Farm shop, Pett Butchers shop. Rene went to Country Park to put laminated posters up (as mine probably destroyed by the weather!) also the coastguard cottages. Bob and Rene still trying to pinpoint which fields Misty was seen in.
- 2012-10-31 00:13 Bob
- Hi,Thanks again for all your help, Feel free to ring my mobile number if you would like and laminated posters to put anywhere I can always drop some off on my way home Rene and myself carry a few round with us and I print up some more when we run out! Many thanks to all Bob and Rene
- 2012-10-30 19:38 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Thanks Bob. I would say that it is Misty and I think you should go on that assumption. The chances are that she is still moving around in the fields and local area. Just keep looking! I went to the country park early this morning and put up some posters in the car park, but unfortunately I could not get the whole doglost poster to load on to my printer and they are not laminated so will not last long .. sorry. Had photo and your phone numbers on though. I think it is a good place to put them as so many local dog owners go there. Shame we don't know which fields the walkers spotted Misty in as we may have been able to plot a triangle..don't suppose they left a contact number? Doglost experts have often said that dogs travel this way after they have been lost for some time. Have put the word out to lots of friends in the area (again) and have also been to Mallydams (RSPCA Wildlife centre)and spoken to them ..they have put a poster up. Also they have a lot of grounds there and are very observant so wld prob notice anything unusual/any disturbance to their wildlife on the reserve .. maybe Misty is going through there on occasion. Wakeham Farm shop Fairlight. I think you need to 'flood' the area with posters now 'cos Misty needs to be known to all! Poster power .. it's so so important. Also people need to be aware she is still missing. I could help you take posters to houses in the area at the weekend if you like.. will be putting some up anywhere I can get to this week of course, but am working everyday like yourselves. If you want to set up a search just let us know where and when. Soooo frustrating for you .. come on Misty, please show yourself again!
- 2012-10-30 08:24 Bob
- PS I forgot to say we are not sure were the sighting at Fairlight was at this time? plus I am not sure as to what places out there have our posters as other people have posted some of the posters out there for us and information has not come back to yet? I wil ring round to day and try to up date later tonight and my wife is going to drive round over that area and check out the posters. Many thanks to all Bob and Rene
- 2012-10-30 08:16 Bob
- Hi, I probably havent explained in the right way! The sighting at fairlight was by four people walking who said it was a sheltie and the called and tried to spread out and try to enclose her, but as expected she ran off. The Broad Street sighting was last Friday night at six o clock by a young girl who got off the bus. That was four days after the Fairlight sighting ( if ) the Broad Street Icklesham sighting was her? (Who knows as we are all dependant on who knows the sheltie breed )We just keep all sightings as a bonus and have to explore all routes. Many Thanks Bob and Rene
- 2012-10-29 22:21 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Bob .. I see you mentioned Misty was seen at Fairlight, I didn't realise it was there .. was this the sighting you mentioned on the 26th? Which fields was she spotted in .. were they on your side of Broad Street? Would help to know. Also wonder if she could have been scavenging for food up at the car park of the country park as people tend to drop bits of sandwiches etc. I will go into the car park on my way through to work 6-7am and take my hubbies binoculars .. you never know I might get lucky and see her! Do Mallydams the RSPCA Wildlife centre know about her? They have a lot of ground up there and also have lots of visitors .. another excellent place to put up posters! Got to swamp the area! - Yes, I know exactly where you mean. Have you been to Harborough Nurseries to alert them? The lady you speak of may be owner of the horses in the field on the corner by North Lane that used to belong to friends of mine (I work with horses) or the stables up the road on N St side..would also be worth going into Buckswood School as they have massive grounds/fields there and outbuildings, stables etc .. the children may have seen Misty. I work up in Rosemary Lane and go there early mornings (6.30am) so will keep my eyes peeled! How about putting posters in the farm shop on the main road, Little Sherwood Ind Estate .. I will try and print some and put them around Fairlight etc..Wakeham Village shop will take one I am sure.. just have to pursuade my printer to work! It really sounds as though she is trying to make her way home, so keep calling and looking. Remember to give her somewhere she could settle if she comes back to your garden in the night time, with her bedding or something that has fresh scent of you on it. Might be worth putting some of her favorite food there too. Another animal may take it but worth a try as she could smell it if nearby. Sound carries a long way in the quiet hours so forget upsetting the neighbours .. keep calling! I'm sure they will understand. I emailed my friends in 14 acre lane and they will look out for her when they are riding out. Will ask them to look at this page for your latest details. Oooo .. she is so close to coming back to you .. stay strong and keep at it. Good luck. Last edited: 2012-10-30 02:39:12 by Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex

- Hi, She was last seen on the edge of the A259 at Broad Street and as far as we know was in the top of Broad Street which drops down towards the railway and is a right of way. ( this is about a mile Hastings end of Icklesham where as the Queens Head is the Rye end ) Both of these places I think have right of ways and I think from my ( some what shot away memory ) would meet near the railway. We would think that if she was seen in Fairlight about six days ago and at six 'O'clock on Friday night that it may be possible for her to come down and around and come up to north lane which is back towards us in Fourteen acre lane ? (not sure but hope unless we have another sighting) We walked round from home at Fourteen acre lane into North lane round to the A259, along to Butchers lane and down to the other end of Fourteen acre lane and along to home calling for her at difference points along the route. We did meet a nice person on the main road at Guestling who has a stable and some ground who will call us if she or friends have any sightings of Misty ( as they are quite close to the last seen area ) We find the hardest problem is knowing which way she travelled from the top end of Broad Street? did she go down or go into some ones garden/shed/barn etc:? we just need that vital call at the time she is seen to zip over to where ever and call and coax her to us? Once again thanks for all the help, here's waiting! Bob and Rene

- Hi Bob, any luck? Wondering if you could say which fields Misty was seen in..was it in the valley below the Queen's Head? Or was it sonewhere nearer to Guestling? Just wondering as I know people who have permission to ride on the private land down there and also could contact the land owner and farmer who keeps sheep on the fields there. Let me know if poss please. Also you may get the Queen's Head to give you permission to have a BBQ (as suggested by Lorraine!) in their car park when no one else is around. Thanks.
- 2012-10-28 01:29 Lorraine - Area Co-ordinator Kent
- Fingers crossed for Misty, a good tip for the disposable BBQ is gammon...tried & tested by a owner who lost her dog. She sat in the last known sighting spot cooking sausages and gammon...lo and behold after 5 hours her dog crept up to her from behind :)
- 2012-10-27 22:05 Shelties Mum
- Fantastic news. They are little toughies. I suspect she may be fed up living wild now and everything's crossed for her safe return. Being out so long she may well be spooky, so approach carefully. A BBQ might help to entice her as well. xx

- Admin .. would you bump this page due to recent sighting please?
- 2012-10-27 18:45 Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex
- Oh Bob, At last a positive sighting.. what great news! I said not to give up, it's surprising how if you persist with posters and publicity how quickly things can change! It sounds as if Misty has been in your area most of the time, she probably has somewhere to hole up at night .. loads of barns and outbuildings in the Icklesham area (used to work in stables nr Queen's Head) Also she would have access to water in the valley there. Perhaps put a poster in that pub and also the Robin Hood on the main Rd? If you haven't found her by Monday it wld be a good idea to get a poster or 2 to Guestling School/Ickesham Jnr School/Harborough Nursery etc if you haven't already. Hopefully Misty will be more likely to come to you in this cold weather and also you have the extra hour to search 2mrw too. Good luck .. got everything crossed for you!

- Hi, just to update everyone tonight I had a call from a friend at Icklesham saying that his grandaughter had seen a small lassie type dog at about six tonight when she got off the school bus,so this is the best sighting and the nearest to the sighting as it was only two hours on.We whent straight over there and call for her and put up a fer more posters around the area. When we got back home I found another message on the phone telling me that about four days ago four people walking had seen a sheltie just trotting around a field so they tried to catch her by spreading out but she legged it! ( that sounds about what she would do!) so that would fit and on that sort of route she is heading towards home. So we will be back over there tomorrow morning at dusk for a wander and call her. Fingers crossed lets hope we can bring her home. Many thanks once again I will keep you all posted when I know more Bob.
- 2012-10-26 08:39 Shelties Mum
- And it's an idea with children to say Misty's a lassie type. I get that all the time with my two even though they're not.

- Well done Bob and Rene, You are doing everything you can and important not to give up. Keep postering everywhere you can think of .. perhaps put one up in the White Hart's car park and one inside if they will help! Any of the business's on the main road. Have you mentioned it to the school? Often children are more eagle eyed than we think. Also Ivy House Estate and the caravan park up near there..as well as the two in Rock Lane. I expect you hv done all that, but worth asking! Last edited: 2012-10-25 10:35:57 by Clarkey, Area Co-ordinator East Sussex

- Hi, just remembered to put down where we had walked, we have done:- right of ways from:- Rock lane to Winchelsea lane and back,Rock farm across to the A259 and back, the right of way from Guestling Green through the fields and wood up and into Eight Acre Lane up to Rock Lane and up to Victoria Avenue through to and along Winchelsea lane down White Hart Hill and back to the green, from Doleham Lane down Pattersons farm right of way across and down to the stream along towards Hastings up through the woods over the vioduct above the railway keep going up through to Fourtee Acre Lane and back home, many times from home through all the fields until we reach Butchers Lane and back home, and all up and round the fishing lake area at the bottom of Queensway, thats all I can think of for the moment Thanks for all your help and encouragement Bob and Rene.

- Have put her details on to Missing pets in Kent page on Facebook, just in case she has gone that direction. Glad you did Rock Farm, and yes, have done that walk many a time .. goes for miles and very few people around. Hope the stables up near the A259 have a poster. Had to be worth a try .. well done. Keeping fingers crossed Misty shows herself somewhere soon.

- Gd morning Bob, Thanks for posting .. yes I know the kennels and have friends who live in 14 acre. It's awful for all of you. Glad you're still actively looking .. if you want to search Rock Farm (very large and quiet)& goes way up to the woods, just go and ask at the cottage, as it's in the process of being sold and is quiet up there at the moment.

- Hi, Just to say thanks for the help and encouragement we keep looking and hoping that Misty will turn up. We live in Fourteen Acre Lane so we are not that far from where she slipped her collar ( Which she has done to me a couple of times, but she won't run off from myself or my wife )And she was in kennels which we have a high regard for and feel very sorry for them, as it must be as bad as it is for us! So all we want is to keep hoping for a sighting or news of our little freind.Once again thanks to everyone for there help Bob and Rene

- Hi Bob, Please don't despair. Whilst it's a while since a sighting, you have to assume that those were Misty. It has often been said on these pages that lost dogs tend to travel in a triangle and also that they change their behaviour .. ie will become more likely to hide in the daytime and only be out in the very early hours and dusk etc. She may make her way back to your area so just keep looking everywhere. You are doing the right thing by putting lots of posters up .. the more the better and this will serve to jog people's memories if they have seen her. Remember to keep in constant contact with the vets, rescue homes and the dog wardens (Sussex/Kent and Wealden)..Blue Cross, RSPCA Brighton, Barby Keel Sidley, Kit Wilson Uckfield, Raystede, Last Chance, Dogs /Trust Shoreham .. if Misty is picked up by someone it often happens that they take them home to their area and then report it so put her info everywhere. If you continue to walk in places where you have previously taken Misty and perhaps look again close to home.. could she be holed up somewhere nearby? I used to have a horse at Rock Fm and there is such an abundance of fields, woods etc in the area where she could be hiding. Also would be wise to leave some food and bedding (smelling of you/her) in a sheltered place in your garden in case she makes her way back at night time. Don't give up hope .. one good thing is that she is microchipped and that will get her back to you if she is found elsewhere. If you decide to do a search I am happy to help as are others who have said so on this page. Good luck .. let's hope Misty shows herself soon.

- Hi, Thanks for your interest and thoughts on Misty.I just wish we had some up to date sightings as both have been nearly a week after the event and just wonder where anyone would start? We keep adding more and more posters wider out.We also know just how timid she is and would only come to us (as most sheltie's) we are just not sure in which direction to start? any information please feel free to email me as I pick up them at most times of the day and evening. Here is Forever hoping Bob & Rene ( email= ducatiurbert@gmail.com )

- Hi, Just to say we went down to the fishing lake where it was mentioned late this afternoon till dark, walking around the lake and various woods and gorse etc: calling for Misty but without any sightings. We put up another poster on the entrance gate in hope of any more sightings. Bob and Rene.

- Hi, Thanks for all and help and information about sightings of Misty or her type of Dog. we will go down to that area and call her at dusk or dawn as that should be the best time as she is timid and only comes to my wife or myself! We would love to hear of any more sightings of her! and keep hoping? Many thanks Bob & Rene Alstin

- Hi Bob, Can't see my previous post re Old Church rd but glad you know about it and that Chases hv bn kind enough to make the call. You could try looking down in Church in the woods and around that area..theres so much woodland around there, but would perhaps go to the area where the ponds are as people may drop scraps of food there after fishing and she could also get a drink there. The best time to go is early morning and dusk when it's quiet..and there may be people night fishing that you could alert. Put loads of posters up everywhere! Do hope you get another sighting soon, it's time Misty went home. Don't give up! If there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

- Hi, we are the owners of Misty the missing Sheltie. We have just been reading through your last comment Re: Misty seen at Old Church Road which is in the Hollington area of Hastings It was a sighting a good few days before it was posted. We believe it passed through a number of people and then back to Chase Vets Who rang the keepers of Misty while we were away on holiday. They in turn rang me to update me as the original lost dog was set up with them and until now not with our numbers (Now on Dog Lost ) We now just need an up to date sighting so we can go and encourage her out as with most Shelties will only come to who they most know and trust! Many Thanks for everyones help so far Bob And Rene.

- I have cross posted this to the sheltie email list so all sheltie folk will now be aware - hopefully, some one local can help in the search for her. It has already been posted onto the sheltie forum too . The found dog that has been mentioned is a rough collie - this is not Misty, as she is a sheltie

- Glad to see that Misty is on doglost now. Have shared on Fbk and told lots of people in the area about her. I gather from a comment on her original photo on Fbk that she was seen in the field next to the blocked bridleway in Rock Lane last Wed. Have there bee any sightings since then? There is so much open land around there thatshe is likely to be holed up somewhere in this weather. If you are able to place a cage with some of her favorite food and her bedding or some clothes with her mum's smell on it somewhere she may visit it. You can print posters (laminated if poss 'cos of the rain) from this page and put them up everywhere in the area so people are aware she is missing. Perhaps try going out in the very early morning/dusk and call her when it is quiet. If you wish to do a search I am happy to help and I am sure others would to. Just let us know please. Hope you find Misty very soon. Good luck.

- Sorry to see that MISTY STILL MISSING is missing.
If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held are up to date.
If you have not already done so contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, contact the Police.
Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green 'Find Any UK Vet' graphic near the top right hand side of the page under the 'latest missing dogs' photo.
A photograph of your dog is essential - if you have not already uploaded a picture, please do so by clicking on 'Update Details' above, or you can email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog, quoting the dog's DogLost ID number. You can also add comments and update your dog's status by clicking on the title bar at the top of the comments list. You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments.
You can obtain a 'MISSING' poster by clicking on 'View Poster' above. POSTERS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Start postering now!
If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, they can be re-homed legally after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres to look for your dog and give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
Please keep us updated by keeping your dogs page up to date and check for posts from helpers that may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings.
If your dog has been stolen please inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN) for the theft.
