So pleased this cutie is home, but do agree with lesleyjane this does seem to be happening more often now.
Stay safe little Tate he is gorgeous.xx

Oh such wonderful news. We had a poster on our gate about Tate missing, got blown away in the storm so I guess now no need to replace it. Best news ever
lesleyjane
So glad littlie Tate is home, but saddened by the story.....guess we'll never know the truth, sorry money had to change hands. This seems to be happening more often.xx

Well, I am very, very happy to say that tate is home. I went to meet with the man, paid him and took my baby home. He seems fine and in good health, of a little shook and confused. Thank you everyone for all our help and support. So happy I ant put it into words.

Thank you for the update Cliona. As discussed on phone just now, fingers crossed this is Tate & you are able to get your boy back where he belongs.Any meeting should be in a safe place for all concerned & I'm pleased to know that this is being done. Steph x

Had a little bit of a potential silver lining from a man in ilford who thinks he bought tate on Sunday from a market in Romford of all places. Nothing confirmed as yet bait crossing my fingers, toes and eyes that it is tate. Will update as soon as I know anything more.

Just to let you know that I tweeted Bev Cuddy of Dogs Today magazine earlier this morning and she has kindly retweeted Tate's details. Hopefully her followers will retweet aswell! Good luck with finding Tate xLast edited: 2012-08-22 11:08:18 by borderfan

Thank you to everyone for your help with tracking down Tate. I'm trying everything I can from flyers and posters in my area to contacting local newspapers. Have also been getting friends and workmates to circulate the poster via twitter and Facebook. All authorities have been contacted and his chip details have been updated to show he is missing. Now, I just have to rely on people like you to help or someone decent to find him and call or hand him in. My fingers are crossed and I'm trying to remain positive. Thanks again for all your help.

Since most of Finsbury Park is N4 rather than N7, it's worth saying that Tate went from a spot just off the Seven Sisters Road half way between the Holloway Road and Finsbury Park station.

Jayne at Head office: I would also send alerts to NE & E as Finsbury Park not a million miles away from Dalston, Stoke Newington, Clapton etc, and people who walk on Clissold Park, Walthamstow Marshes etc could help spread the word....

I've posted on my personal Facebook page as well as my EdwynUK page and twitter - am based in North East London - so hopefully the word will spread. I can imagine how distraught you must be, but fingers and paws crossed you will be reunited soon. A lady nearby lost her dachshund not long ago, and it was through all the postering that she was reunited with her dog. So don't give up and keep up with the postering x

Have just spoken to owner & will send some more advice on who to contact etc. It could be that Tate has been picked up by someone who has not informed the authorities. Posters etc are out there & I will put Tate up on Facebook Doglost West London & also request twitter.

Thanks for all help given. There is still no sign of Tate and I am out of my mind with worry. Any other help people can give to help me track him down would be hugely appreciated.

Have shared on twitter and facebook. I am south london but will try reach some north london people.

What a lovely little fella hope he's back very soon x
Cliona
Thank you for any help you can give. My heart is broken without Tate. He's not the healthiest dog either and needs regular treatment for allergies and a previous broken leg which has been acting up. I'm so worried about him.
