There is a dog currently at Leigh Dogs Home, hard to tell what breed as its so badly matter poor thing. I've sent the photo to Andrea to check out, a long shot as found in West Lancs. Ref 198/12.

The found in FY3 (dog ID 46310) has now been reunited with its owner so sadly not Mini, the search goes on.

Found dog Brown and white Shi Tzu female FY3 area of Blackpool on 16th December 2012. Dog ID. 46310. Andrea is checking this dog out to see if it is Mini. The found dog will be taken to the vets to be checked for a microchip.

Thank lesleyjane, I said the same thing to andrea today :)

andrea is doing a great job, local and surrounding area dog wardens have been notified, they have visited Manchester Dogs Home, reported to the police and notified the microchip company.

Both the family dogs were let into the garden which has 2 gates, both kept bolted at all times. Within a few minutes they went back into the garden to find the gate open and Mini gone. It is thought Mini was STOLEN as you can leave any door/gate open and she won't go through. They also said that if Mini had wandered, their other dog would definitely have followed as she thinks Mini is her Mum.

I have sent the info/advice email to andrea and spoke at length about making her 'too hot to handle' but to keep all other scenarios covered eg. contacted vets, visiting dogs homes etc.

Mini is an old girl and needs to be home with her family. If anyone is in the area, please spread the news far and wide. There is a reward offered for info leading to the safe return of Mini.

Owner, if not already done please poster everywhere, the more people who know about Mini the better. I f she has been stolen she must be made too hot to handle. Tell postmen, binmen, local cab firms etc. Glad to see she is chipped.

Sorry to see that MINI is missing.
If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held are up to date.
If you have not already done so contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, contact the Police.
Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green 'Find Any UK Vet' graphic near the top right hand side of the page under the 'latest missing dogs' photo.
A photograph of your dog is essential - if you have not already uploaded a picture, please do so by clicking on 'Update Details' above, or you can email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog, quoting the dog's DogLost ID number. You can also add comments and update your dog's status by clicking on the title bar at the top of the comments list.
