Just took call from Tilly's owner and she's BACK! Seems she had got herself stuck down a hole all this time.

Very frustrating as seems impossible to speak with the Dog Wardens. Spoke to Kirsty at Thanet District Council who didn't sound at all interested in Doglost. What a shame that other Council's are more proactive when it comes to lost and found dogs.

Sadly it wasn't Tilly. The JRT in question has been caught and as we speak Tilly's owner is arranging for it to be taken to the vet to see if it has been microchipped.

No reports locally of any other Jack Russells being lost although several have been found in the last few months which we have no idea whether they ever got reunited.

Unfortunately our Dog Wardens don't update Doglost despite my email requests to their department.

Hi all. Someone thinks they saw Tilly around Victoria rd in Ramsgate today around 12 noon. She was limping with a bad leg.

Just seen the local police dog unit and they have posters up in broadstaires police station.

Been out again this morning and still no sign of Tilly.
Have not had any reply from any dogwardens in the area.Printing more posters now.

Hi , im not sure what else to do... i have been serching with my family for 4 days. We are all so upset.
I have contacted the Police,Thanet Council, Dog wardens,Vets,Kennels,Tag, dog trust.
I have been constantly sticking posters up and gradually going around shop's at westwood cross leaving flyers.My partner knows all the farms around here so they are checking there buildings.
We live down PoorHole lane so no she wasn't at the vets.My family and I went for a walk on our grounds quite near the drive on poorhole lane. Tilly was right next to us . She is 7 and has never been on a lead, she knows her boundaries and was happy walking next to us receiving attention.Then she was gone....Friends and family with their dogs have been serching the grounds since monday and we have just about covered it,None of the dogs picked up on her scent.She is just not here...
I have 4 children, the youngest has just started to say her name...There must be someone out there that knows something!

Tilly's Owners - If you get a minute can you update us on what action you've taken already, i.e. notifying vets, dog wardens, etc. It's brilliant that you have heavily postered Margate Road etc as this is when I became aware of Tilly prior to getting the Doglost alert, so your posters certainly stand out.

For your info, after I tweeted details of Tilly, the local paper also tweeted her info so she's had good local coverage already but this needs to be kept going.

Having just seen Tilly's posters at Westwood I thought I'd let her owners know about Doglost but am pleased to see her details already recorded.

I will circulate Tilly's details via my Twitter A/c. I see she escaped from Poorhole Lane - was she by any chance at the vets at the time of her escape?
