- Been thinking of this girl a lot - wherever you are - whoever you're with, I hope you're safe and warm with a full tummy. xx

- Still no news of this girl - I've handed out a couple of hundred fliers today in Betws y coed, Penrhyndeudraeth and Porthmadog. Let's hope one will jog someone's memory.

- Have just come back - spent a few hours walking last night with Jess, around the reservoir - followed the track by the railway (this is a narrow-gauge railway - not as problematic, I don't think, as a network rail one). Spent the night in the car and retraced steps, early this morning, coming back up the 496 - was worried about disused quarry but didn't see anything. Got Jess barking but nothing. Walked through Tanygrisiau - saw a couple of people (gave them fliers). Come on lovely girl - we need something to go on - please.

- I'm planning on doing the roads and tracks around the reservoir this weekend - the area needs blasting with posters before Meg moves further on away from home - if it was her. xx

- Yes - was out very late last night and at 4 this morning - no signs - difficult area. Has the owner any idea which way she went - have there been any possible sightings at all - are there any favourite places she likes to go. Has she been missing before and found in a certain place - sorry for all the questions but trying to get something to go on. x

- Went for a walk/drive in the area today but no sign. There's a railway running close by, quarries, old mines, lots of crags - impossible to know where to look without knowing more of where she might have been likely to go.

- Thank you Rach and Jobadger for all your help.

- Hi Rach - many thanks - yep the postcode is good - it just gives me some idea of where to start. Trouble is - it's holidays - just by the slate caverns so there will be a lot of people around and if she's been picked up she could be anywhere by now. I'll go through there later on on Saturday evening when things are quiet and possibly very early Sunday morning....... Let's hope she's home soon... xxLast edited: 2012-07-27 15:50:39 by jobadger

- Hi Jo, I haven't heard back I'm afraid but I do have the postcode LL41 3LN if that helps at all? It says on Facebook that all local kennels in Gwynedd and Conwy have been contacted x

- Thanks Rach - I'll go for a drive round on Sunday if she's not home before then. Perhaps you could let me have the location when you get it. xx In fact, I'll come home through that way on Saturday..... Can you ask - does she normally bother with sheep? I presume local enquiries have been made - Has anyone phoned Dolgellau or Aber? This is where she might have been taken if picked up. I'll get in touch with all local vets too.Last edited: 2012-07-26 18:33:18 by jobadger

- Sorry to see that MEG is missing.
If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held are up to date.
If you have not already done so contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, contact the Police.
Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green 'Find Any UK Vet' graphic near the top right hand side of the page under the 'latest missing dogs' photo.
A photograph of your dog is essential - if you have not already uploaded a picture, please do so by clicking on 'Update Details' above, or you can email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog, quoting the dog's DogLost ID number. You can also add comments and update your dog's status by clicking on the title bar at the top of the comments list. You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments.
You can obtain a 'MISSING' poster by clicking on 'View Poster' above. POSTERS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. Start postering now!
If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, they can be re-homed legally after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres to look for your dog and give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
Please keep us updated by keeping your dogs page up to date and check for posts from helpers that may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings.
If your dog has been stolen please inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN) for the theft.
DogLost is free – anyone asking for money to return your dog is not working for us, and may offer fake photos as 'proof'. If you think we may have called you but aren't sure, please contact us on the phone number or email address at the top of our homepage. We can't stop criminals from trying, but we can confirm if we tried to contact you.
