I saw that dog when I went to the RSPCA and when I got back seen Chewy registered on DL. It was niggling me and I was going to double check it especially if we got more photos of Chewy. It is heartbreaking when you have your hopes built up that they are in kennels and then you find out it is not them. :(

Thanks Jan my mate had just come back from rspca sobbing as she thought he was there, qquite black dog curled up in its bed staff said she cudnt go in as kennel as he had shown agression/fear she called him and the poor dog ran over to her licking her face but turned out to be a lurcher and she wanted to take him home aswell. hour or so later got the call from warden :-) will post a pic of them when i go and see him tomorrow XX

Elaine I was chuffed to bits to get the text this afternoon (don't worry about where I was). News saying they are home is the best we can get and greatly appreciated. You have all done a fab job in your search.

Hi, Elaine thanks for posting an update, I've just read your text and replied. I've resent the info/advice email, check your Junk inbox in case it has gone there. If anyone goes to Halewood RSPCA ask about any that are in the holding block which is where they go when getting checked in. Ensure all kennels are checked inside/out in all the blocks. x

hi jan, just recieved your txt but no email as yet, ive just come off phone with owner shes searching for pics as we speak, she has contacted dog warden,rspca,and microchip people but still no sightings. i have put his details on as many FB pages i could think of, she is going to go up to halewood tomorrow if we still dont hear anything as dog warden said most dogs tend to be handed in after the weekend. hopefully someone has taken him in as he is terrified of rain :-( xxx
