- Other Info Found wandering around on road and jumped in the car when I stopped. Tried knocking on a few doors but he isn't known in the area. Dog was handed in to Alnwick Police Station who were going to pass him on to the Dog Warden. Phone number below is for Northumberland County Council, ask for dog warden. Seemed like a lovely dog, hope he's reunited soon.

- I'll point him out to lurcherlink to make sure he gets a rescue place, where he will be snapped up in no time. Thank god I'm many miles away or we could be looking at no.6!

- looks like a saluki cross and quite young. what a shame he is so far away I would have offered him a home if not claimed.

- Yeah, he's a little smasher. Even my Mum who's mortally scared of dogs liked him. If I didn't have grumpy dog hating cat I'd have been tempted to keep him at my house until his owners could be found. He was a bit thirsty and hungry (scoffed grumpy cats food that she'd left)but other wise was in good condition. Couldn't see any obvious tattoo's or scars. Think his stand out part is a white spot on the back of his neck.
