Bit of a long shot but there's a little tan boy found in Pendleton, not a million miles from Farnworth, on Dogs in Salford's facebook page. Sorry, this is my first post - I'm not sure exactly how to do the links.

POSSIBLE SIGHTING of a dog matching Digby's description around the moses gate country park area (top canal) more in the Little Lever area than the Farnworth side! Been sighted 3 times this week! Please keep an eye out if you visit there this weekend.

All we have is small brown cross breed, was wearing a black studded collar but no microchip was found. Dog was taken to Leigh Cats & Dogs home, you can contact them to find out what happenned on 01942 671 215.

We visited Leigh cats & Dog home today but had no luck. One of the Warden's also phoned me today, after I had e-mailed them from the link Skippy provided below. She was great & asked for more photo's of Digby, It's comforting to know people do care & are looking out for him. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held are up to date.
If you have not already done so contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, contact the Police.
Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green 'Find Any UK Vet' graphic near the top right hand side of the page under the 'latest missing dogs' photo.
A photograph of your dog is essential - if you have not already uploaded a picture, please do so by clicking on 'Update Details' above, or you can email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog, quoting the dog's DogLost ID number.
