- If he might be heading home, where is this, which way might he be trying to travel? Also which side of the river was he seen travelling along? I'm just trying to get a picture in my mind of where he might be, so I can have a trip out with my dog & see if we can spot him (I'm about 10 miles from Tewkesbury, so wouldn't be able to do this every day, but every little helps).
If seen is he approachable & will he come to play with my dog? - 2012-02-23 07:48 B30

- Thanks Lizzy for making contact, I have corrected the email address now. Owner has had Alfy since he was 5 weeks old and is desperate to get him back.
- 2012-02-02 19:58 Unknown
- Can anyone send him a text please as email address is incorrect. I have no credit left on my mobile. He wants phone numbers for railtrack and Highways Agency to call them tomorrow. Thank you xx
- 2012-02-02 19:45 Unknown
- Spoke to owner, he came to the area to buy a puppy, he got his dog out of the car to see how it got on with it, his dog didn't like it , so the man/traveller started to shout at his dog and the dog just ran off. He has been out every day looking for his dog. He has contacted DW and knocked on the local houses but no-one has seen him. I have advised him to contact railtrack and the Highways Agency.

- As I do not know the area please can local people help search for Alfy. I have guessed at the post code, please call owner for more details as he does not live locally either.
Alfy is friendly with both people and other dogs. - 2012-02-02 18:16
- Sorry to see that ALFIE is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (36767)

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
