I have seen a dog that answers this description by the 16th tee in Sutton Park today 31st May. Has been seen in Park on number of occasions in last few months. Rumoured that it is dumped by owners when they go on holiday, but only rumoured! Nearest access point to last seen position is metal gate opposite Oakmount Road, (off Thornhill Road), B74 2EG. Dog was lying on footpath on right of ths entrance, facing 16th Tee.

In the ROMFORD/HAROLDHILL area near romford golf course. Just off straight road.
If this is your dog, the dog warden has taken him to the kennels and needs you to call ASAP to claim this lovely dog.

George is still out there. Now he is back on top, let's all have a joint effort and get on those rescue sites and see if we can have a look for him. May be worth going back to the papers. it is national miocrochipping day in june, perhaps we could get it along the angle of owners continue to search after two years but feel their chances of getting george back woul d have been increased if he was chipped. while they refuse to give up and appeal to people for help in getting george back, they are also urging dog owners to get their dogs chipped now, before they regret it!! Am more than happy to help, if owners are up for it!!

gosh the dog found does look very much like the one missing it even has a distinctive mark like the owner said very unusual magxx

as the owner been in touch with Battersea and other rescue homes also dog warden. might be worth doing smaller posters and putting them through doors and getting him in the paper. hope he is home soon.

Unfortunately the found dog is not George. Owners on their way back home, will send out posters again to local helpers for another try.

Owners have seen photo of found Mastiff and they agree that it does look like George. Owners will be travelling up to Walsall today to check for themselves.

Not sure if he's still missing and it maybe a total long shot but yesterday in Kingston-upon-Thames just passed the Town Hall, I drove past a dog with a black collar that looked like your dog. He was next to a bus shelter with no lead or owner nearby and he was eating rubbish. Looked in ok condition. Hope it helps...

Hi there has been a mastiff found in gateshead and washington. very thin due to the fact he been on the streets a long time.this is the phone number of the vets where this boy is 01914877319.and from there sometime this weekend he will be going to longbenton cat and dog shelter01912150435.

Im a local volunteer and would just like to let George's owners know that I will be putting up his missing poster around upminster aswell as e-mailing it to all my friends and contacts in and around that area so that they can keep an eye out.
