Patsy, I am still looking for your bobby, his poster is in my car, and every time I see a yorkie, I check it to see if it is him, never give up all our stolen dogs are out ther somewhere, and the publicity is getting better and better, thanks to Jayne, keep strong, keep, positive. You could try ringing Longview Animal Centre Blackpool where the RSPCA may have taken the Yorkies and /or you could ring Backpool Police Head- Quarters on 01253 293933 remember to have the found dogs name the the location of the market and dates when the yorkies were found.I hope this helpsxxxxx

classifieds is the one I told Patsy about, it is someone selling several dogs of different breeds which seems a bit strange and one of the dogs is an older yorkie.

hi and thankyou.. i totally agree with you billys mum..its much to rife and has got to stop..those that should care just dont and they should be made to... in south-west ireland, if you steal a mans cow goat horse or dog the penalties are severe..here they just dont care..ive had zero help from the police....absolutely none, even tho when bobby was stolen so were the whole contents of my van..inc camping equipment....... the van locks on the back doors were drilled into..only a drill could have opened the lock..bobby must have been frantically barking and there were thousands of people....the noise must have been deafning yet ive heard nothing..i truly beleive that if the police had acted back then i may have had some sort of news..this didnt happen in the middle of no-where...i wont just go away though..my world was stolen on that day..and i want him back..and this rising dont care attitude by some/most police forces must end..thank you all...pats xx

Hi thank you for your messages of support for billy I do look at other yorkie pages and other breeds too if I won the lottery I would put up silly money to help us all get our kids back I have to admit before billy went I did not realise the extent of this problem and I do think that we should have more coverage and help from the media so as other dog lovers were aware before it was to late for them and i am sure they would want to help as well but I do know that I get comfort from all the dog lovers here in dogslost and the strength seeing what you and alfies mum have battled through for such a long time I wish you all the best and hope that our boys come home very soon kind regards to you Jackie

I don't want to disappoint, but the dog we found has got a little pointed nose - forgive me - as I'm not a dog owner myself - but I could only best describe it as being a "hedgehog" like nose, if that makes sense. I saw your handy work on the way home tonight. Your laminated posters will last a lot longer than ours in a plastic sleeve. I make sure that I drive past a certain place everyday and check what is on the property. I have to say that you sure have determination, Patsy, and that I do admire you for that. Someday, it will pay off!! There is no doubt that you love Bobby dearly.

hi all..managed to poster places in hemel, leighton buzzard and milton keynes over the last few days..whippet and toledo!! saw the posters that you have been putting up..thank you..i also saw posters of bobby and alfie that had been put up by beds helpers..not sure who you are but so very grateful..also saw posters of teddy on route..so many thanks, judy will be over the moon.. received a call from a yorkie rescue in beds..they are going to check all their yorkie rescues for me..they only rehome yorkies under the condition that if these dogs turn out to be stolen and they can prove ownership then the yorkies will be given back to their rightful owners..the people that take on these little yorkies and bless them, always remain foster parents and are told this..a good idea i think..what do you think?? maybe we could help change the rehoming laws for owners of stolen dogs..many thanks to you all..patsy xx

Hi Patsy hope you are feeling much better now, do take care. We still monitor the area and follow every yorkie we see until we see if they respond to that special name, one of these days we are going to get picked up for stalking!!! I think one old man thought Toledo was trying to pick him up when she kept talking to him about his dog!! This dog hunting is serious stuff but it does have its lighter sides.

I spoke to a number of people at Dacorum BC this morning, and surprise, surprise they said it was entirely a matter for Wendy Fairs. As I recall, the market manager is a daughter-in-law and singularly unhelpful. I'll do a news release tomorrow as I've got some earlier paper deadlines to meet.

Well sympathy to Mrs Hobday but may I suggest that this Kerry updates their website as according to that it is Mr and Mrs. Funny though that we said we witnessed what happened and they never replied to us, maybe that is because we KNOW what happened and they think the others do not.

You are obviously not aware of all the facts surrounding the situation so would suggest that your view is fairly partial. Pats, I now have a replacement pc whilst mine is away being fixed. So now I can devote time to a proper read instead of snatches at work. The email was excellent. Why, I ask myself ,do people work as security and don't know the first thing about it!!!!!!!!!! They are just stooooopid control freaks who like to intimidate women by the sounds of it. Hopefully, the email will evoke some positive responses to the plight of people who have succomed to theft, when they, seemingly, are unable to produce decent employees with hearts.... Thank you PrincessJo & Candy for that. When we staged the reconstruction of Bobby's theft in July, Wendy Fairs refused us permission to leaflet but we did anyway and got some good media coverage. This time the security guards tried to tell us that it was Dacorum Borough Council who wouldn't allow leafleting. Be sure I'll find out tomorrow, and I'll be back for a little chat on Saturday. (After I've talked to the Herald & Express of course)

this email sent. Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hobday, I am writing to you as a regular user of bovingdon market. I understand that a yorkshire terrier - Bobby - was stolen from a locked vehicle at 'bovvy' on 25th June 2005. A leaflet campaign was held on Saturday 17th December and your security guards had nothing better to do than to compound the heartache and pain of the poor woman who has lost her dog by removing and screwing up the leaflets in front of her and taking great pleasure in doing so. It is possible that if they were more vigilant in their work then the poor lady would not have had her vehicle broken into and her precious dog stolen. However they may feel that adding to this womans heartache was an easier option than confronting thieves and possibly having to act as one would expect security officers to act. I would have thought that it would be in your best interests and a really good pr exercise to help this lady in any way you could, after all a vast amount of the public that visit your markets are dog owners whose dogs are part of the family not just an animal that is kept outside on a chain and knows very little human contact or love. As a regular client of 'bovvy' who has a large family who also attend on a regular basis I would have expected more of you. I for one will not be frequenting the market again and I shall ask anyone I know to also not visit until you show more compassion in this matter. Yours. Mrs. C. L. King

We are writing to the owners of Wendy Fairs perhaps some others may like to email them the address is info@wendyfairmarkets.com. The owners are Mr & Mrs Hobday. As Patsy so rightly says the least they can do is allow her to leaflet and talk to people in their carpark. They are happy for all the traders to be making money on Christmas sales why can they not extend a little Christmas goodwill to Patsy. As I said before the security guards were quick to pick on defenceless women but not so observant to see someone drilling into a car.

We put hundreds of leaflets on cars before 4 big bully security men desecended on us. Where were these security men when someone drilled into a van and took Bobby?? It took all of their muscle to take our leaflets off cars and take great pleasure in screwing them up in front of Patsy. Merry Christmas to you too guys.

Patsy it must be hard we can only imagine how it must be. Remember we are here to support you and we are doing all we can to try and find Bobby. It makes me so mad that there are so many of you on here doing so much to find your dogs yet there are others who just don't bother. I recently found a dog matching perfectly, even the distinguishing marks and when I telephoned the owners they said "oh that is 25miles away" and they did not seem at all interested. You would have been there immediately. So your dedication has to pay off and we will continue to help you until Bobby is home where he belongs.

hi all, no news on the dogs ive mentioned, yet, ...Im determined to find the owners of these dogs as i am almost positive they are stolen, they are all adult dogs and appeared very suddenly, over night in fact, I cant bear the thought that i know where dogs are whos owners have no idea, the police said there is nothing that they can do unless a legal owner reports the dog/dogs missing, the moment i said that i wasnt the owner they just wasnt interested, Ive left messages with the dog warden in the area and have yet to hear something,. Today has been really difficult, I now how rife dog theft is, but to see stolen dogs with my own eyes and powerless to do anything just brings home to me that my bobby is out there in similar circumstances and the chances of ever finding him or some-one else rescuing him are remote. I was in that position today and there was nothing i could do and it broke my heart. The ******** who steal dogs/cats or any pet have no idea what they do to peoples lives or do know and just dont care. The constant need to know what happend to bobby destroys a peice of me each day ...did he suffer/is he suffering?..is he dead..wheres hes body if he is? the endless crying, the gut wrenching worry, the begging people to look out for him, the times ive snapped at my friends and family who cant understand why i just cant get on with my life, the endless hours on my pc, the broken sleep if any, the hoping praying and longing that he was back here with me, the lonely hours driving and searching for him, the dropping everything to go and follow a yorkie sighting only to be be destroyed by yet another dissapointment and the not knowing is the ultimate cruelty. Ive raised the kids to beleive that hate towards any human being is wrong and its a word rarely used by any of them and i never thought i could truly hate anybody until now..but its eating me up inside and its so hard to feel anything else towards the people that have done this to me and my little m

hi whippet, toledo and all, i will be at bovvy most of the day sat with flyers, we can make contact with mobiles like last time..whippet, i was there today and asked the police about THEM, they were evacuated first thing sat and some are included in the injured, I postered bovvy again today, most of posters i put up last week were down?? a few others were rain damaged so i replaced them with laminates, For sat i will cover the van with laminates and magnets, im going back into hemel 2moro to put up some more..thank you all for your posts, pms and support, pats and bobby xxxxx

hi whippet ..i plan to poster from bovvy back into hemel, mainly busy places, town centre, tesco ect, ive put posters into the neighbouring houses of said area but ive yet to do the park, it got dark and i was on my own, hopefully i will get some time this afternoon, if not 2moro morning, I was hoping bobby would be on "the wright stuff" this side of christmas but it has to be after now, I received an email saying that if more then four of us were willing to go then all expences would be paid so im looking in to it, Ive lost count of how many animal loving celebrities ive wrote to even though i know that most will probably never be read by anybody let alone get through to the celebrity but its all worth it and one day i might strike lucky, who knows... hi all and thank you for your posts and pms..whippet!! they are no longer there and ive not a clue where they have gone but i have put posters through the letter boxes of all the the neighbouring houses, and keeping my eyes on the usual places.. i have pmd you, Have all hp helpers seen the gazzette?? Thanks to Jackie at Phillip King jewelers in Berkhamstead bobby went in the local paper in hemel on tuesday and im praying it will bring some news, a million thanks jackie, It was great to meet you..so sorry i couldnt stay longer but the postering was calling, i know you understand Nik!! i have started to poster bovvy again, Like you I beleive the chances of anybody who may have seen something when he was stolen are higher at this time of year so to mass flyer it again is a good idea..if any helpers could poster bovingdon for me i would be so grateful, i have postered the lane that leads out of the market so all the cars that leave will see them, ive always known that bovingdon market is big but when i was walking over there yesterday and it was empty it dawned on me just how huge it is, i still find it so difficult to beleive that no-one saw anything, i still cant be sure if bobby was stolen then by those who broke into the van, or wether he was dumped and picked up by somebody else... the immense loneliness i felt as i walked around the empty grounds was overwhelming, it was killing me to try to imagine what it did to my little man...please let me know if you can help in anyway with posters, since bobby was stolen my poor printer has been used as if its a photo copier and im surprised its still going, bless it..If anybody wants a laminated poster for there car/van.. please let me know and i will post one to you.. Still watching and waiting but something tells me they have gone for the winter. Now looking at all possible places that the visitors could have come from. Followed another person with a yorkie so I could check it out - I will get arrested for stalking if I am not careful!!! Sorry those in the rescues were not Bobby,fingers crossed for Justine, in the meantime the search goes on...

Yes Chris it is difficult to tell, I thought the tail was not right. However it is better that Patsy looks as it would be awful if we did not tell her and it was Bobby. This little fella looks so sweet I would just love to find him.

I've put up those posters in Aldenham Country Park and have printed off loads for family & friends for their own local areas. Have e mailed poster to all I know and asked them to do the same and then forward the email to anyone they know in Herts to do like-wise. I've also contacted some local businesses, schools and organisations in the hope of some help. Patsy I can tell by all of your posts that Bobby is very special in himself and that he means so very much to you. I am sure that whoever has him must love him to bits as well, but we will always be here for you to help in whatever way we can to get him back where he belongs and back to the person whom he really loves. thanks whippet, help from all dog owners would be great, daisys mum has been great and just as determined, without all your support i know i wouldnt have coped , bobby is my everything and i wont ever give up, he will be nine next month on the 11th, he was born on the same day as my grand-daughter, ..i still find it difficult to beleive hes not here with me and the not knowing gnaws away like a disease,... the day he was stolen changed my whole life and my future, i wonder constantly what id be doing now if this nightmare had never happened, hes an amazing little character, i was in hospital a while back and he sat on the window-sill waiting for me to come home, he sat day and night until my daughter spoke to the staff and wrangled him a quick visit, on the way out of the hospital he jumped from my daughters arms, ran back in along all the corridors, past all the staff, found my ward, found my room, jumped onto my bed and dived beneath the covers because he knew in hes own way that he shouldnt be there, my daughter hot on hes tail arrived five mins later,.. i couldnt beleive it at the time but it didnt surprise me, he always found it difficult to be away from me even though at the time my daughter was still living with me and paddy and sparky were here too, so it was never lack of company, ..i find it so hard to deal with what bobby is going through and i pray that whoever he is with loves him, even though a part of me knows that if they truly did love him they would give him back to me.... kizzy, gina, jackie, toledo,justine, debbie,judy,ian, nik and all at dog lost, me and my little man thank you with all our hearts xxxx

Well Patsy luckily we still have all our dogs here but if you need any extra help from volunteers who have not lost dogs then you know you can always count on us if we are around on the day you choose.

I found some transparent sheets you can print on and they adhere to glass, acrylic or other smooth surfaces. You can put them outside or print in reverse and stick them on the inside of the glass. I've printed the Christmas poster on one and will put it on the rear, side window of my estate car. I think they cost ?4.99 for 6 sheets. Not cheap but easier than laminating. Chris

Patsy, like the others, I would be devastated if one of mine went missing and I admire you all for all the work you're doing to get your babies back. I've had a couple of cats gone missing over the years and it was sheer hell. Fortunately I did find out what happened to one and eventually found the other stuck on the 6th floor of an empty building. When I went back to work, so excited, and told everyone I'd found him, one of the men said "b****y hell, I wish someone loved me that much". No contest!!! How big is Bobby? There's a yorkie for re-homing on doglost. He's a very tiny one and Bobby doesn't look tiny, but you can't really tell from the picture. Chris

There's a yorkie (looks like he's just had a haircut) on District Dogs rescue on dogpages. Entire, stand-up ears. Described as about 5 yrs but that could be wrong. He may be bigger than Bobby, but worth a look. Chris

Pleased to see you back on line Patsy we missed you. We are still looking for Bobby, we check out the place every day. Yesterday coming through the industrial estate we saw a lady with a yorkie, so we did a u turn and followed her for awhile checking out male or female etc but afraid it definitely was not Bobby. We keep looking and let's hope that one day we will be lucky.

thanks whippet...hi all...the little dog i found last week now needs a new home.. the owner phoned me this mornin and said she can no longer keep them.. them being the other one a little westie cross cavalier..i can take them both temp..but would love to find them new homes..as the yorkie is quite old a part of me wants to keep him because of the stress. we will see..the other is seven..lovely little thing..castrated..no chip..loves kids ..not keen on other dogs. im waitin on some pics..will keep u updated ..pats

I have spoken to Thornberry, they have checked for the scarring as requested and there is none. They have tried calling the name - no joy. They have also tried all the other things you suggested and nothing happened. They have been on the Doglost site and they say the dog they have is older. But saying all this, they have said they would more than welcome you if you would care to visit and see the dog they have in their care. That way you would know for sure. Hope this helps. You will find they have a server problem on their website at the moment. Also most rescues do not have receptionists to man the phones constantly hence the ansaphone. moment.

hi al..still no pics..and the rescue centre are not being very helpful at all.. the moment i told them there was a pic of bobby on dog-lost ..things changed..freindly at first.. then almost like they blamed me for bobbys condition.. i kept emphasising that he was stolen frm me two months ago..they kept saying he was abandoned.. now hes pic has been taken off the rescue site..they say because i came forward.. but in the nxt breath they dnt think hes bobby???????then i go back on there site this mornin ..to find the whole site shut down apart frm a donations page ..ive tried calling but no answer?? i just dnt know wat do do frm here and its killing me..sorry guys..i will get back to u soon...

Hi Patsy, how is it going? We are still keeping our eyes open, every time we see a yorkie we stop and look but have to be honest they all look the same to me. Of course they are not but guess we all know our own breed best. Does Bobby walk well on a lead? should we be only looking at those walking along nicely?

hi all and thank you for your messages...the pic of bobby here was when i caught him up to know good and hes ears were going to the side because he knew he had just been caught...hes also pulling hes ..it wasnt me face....when bobby is relaxed hes ears are very up..pointed and stiff..some yorkies have ears that are floppy and some that flop at the tips..bobbys are not floppy at all..he is very much like a baby fox..very pointed nose too..i have pics here where he doesnt look like the 1 on here at all..hes hair on this 1 is quite long...i tended to keep him trimmed up..it says here bobby is silver and tan..hes more dark grey than silver..dark tan around hes face..lighter underneath...some grey/white on hes snout due to age...he is longish too...the only time bobbys coat seemed much lighter was when he had a number 3 trim..as hes coat got longer it got darker ..hope this helps....thankyou all again...patsy xxx PS.. justine!! ..jane!!..nik..whippet...kizzy..judy...there is 1 sure fire way of identifying bobby if he is handed in any where and i should have told the staff in gillingham b4 i left but it went completely out of my head.... as we know there are undesirables who use this site and i cant say here..if i pm you these details on to you could you pass it on to those you have all grown to trust? i thank you all again xx

I think you are right about ears Justine. We all know our own breed and I have no idea about yorkie ears, the ones on this picture do not look big to me but obviously Patsy knows what she is talking about. Wish there was something else we could all do to help.

Patsy, I think the picture you have of Bobby is just fine, it shows his big ears. So many people that dont know yorkies have no idea about ears! I knew as soon as I saw this dog in gillingham that it was not Bobby. I am so very sorry for you. Justine

This little chap at the vets in Gillingham is in a very bad way nd will need lots of TLC, something however that I am good at. He will need lots of treatment for his skin condition and his broken back leg. He also only has 1 testicle so will need to be castrated, this will be done at the same time he has his leg sorted. A very dear tiny dog that is scared to death.. I will. I hope be bringing him here next monday for all the care,love and attention that he needs. If anybody has a spare ?5.00 then please donate it to this little dog for his treatment. Justine

hi all..the vets assistant has said this could be bobby and advised me to go down there.. i wanted to go today and was on my way wen i got a call to say that if it is bobby and i left it till 2moro (admin purposes) i could bring him home..this dog has an old cut on hes ear..same as bobby..he is bald on his back and tail so they couldnt tell me much abt hes hind colour..this dog is half of bobbys weight..under the circumstances would make sence...at the moment i still feel that i cant raise my hopes up too much..i will keep u all posted...patsy xx

justin!!!!!!! please could you give me name and number of the vet..if and i know its a big if..but if it is bobby, as well as lots of care from the vet..its me he needs.. i cant wait 2 weeks..its killing me..if its not bobby i can resume my search elsewhere..a dog doesent get in that state unless its been out a long time and 2day my bobby has been gone 7 weeks..well enough time to be dragged around the country.. a couple of irish travellers have told me that hemel is too hot to hold bobby and they doubt very much that a traveler would hold him there for long..theres been just too much publicity in herts..lots of travelers travel frm hemel to kent on a regular basis..so its not impossible for him to have been dumped there...i can make kent in a couple of hours if the vet gives me any clue that it might be bobby..there is info that i have held back about bobby..and only i or a vet would know it..a vet could tell me if its bobby in seconds..please pm me details..thanks all ..patsy x

Patsy Went to the tennis courts and we walked all around them and then through other green and wooded areas, toured Northend and all the streets nearby. We spoke to people walking dogs, one man told us there was one dog tied up outside shops and another loose running around but he had no idea what type of dogs they were, so we raced there but no sign of any dogs. There are so many places around the tennis courts where a dog could roam off and it was so long after the sighting. I am sending you a pm with telephone numbers where another time you can ring us so we can get there quicker.

went back over to the farm 2day..the litttle dog is still there.. came within 2 whiskas of catching her twice..she is black with white on her chin and chest..small patch of white on left hand side just down from her shoulder..her coat is very long and straggley..she looks like she has been out for a long time..the farmer is feeding her tho so thats something..i observed her for quite a while and she seems to be walking ok and she can sure run..other then that its hard to tell but she seems ok..owner is going over there..he should be there now..i wish them both all the luck in the world...

hi everybody..received apossible sighting of a small dog on a farm in little heath..went over but not bobby..i tried to lure the little dog to me but it ran off..the farmer said it had been back and forth for nearly two weeks..almost black terrier..possibly crossed..pointed ears..very nervous..couldnt get close enough to give a better description..hope somebody recognises this little dog with the little information i have..

SOZ EVERY BODY..ME AGAIN..bobby may have been clipped and dyed..please look out for a yorkie with the biggest ears on the planet..clipping him will only have made him more identifiable...hes ears are huge..only prominent feature that stopped me putting him as a show dog...many yorkie lovers have stopped me over the years and mentioned hes ears..my daughter used to say that hes ears could act like a plane..one gust of wind and tood..lol...i again thank you all so much...patsy xx

hi every body..my daughter has persuaded me to take a day off hunting for bobby as its my b,day...so i will spend some time in my fairy garden(which i have 100% neglected since bobby was stolen) with my grandaughter who has been badly hurt by bobbys theft..my other dog paddy, a border collie sadly passed away last october..he was 16..but he died in my arms and i was able to explain to my grandaughter that he is now in gods hands and he is safe and in no pain..its so difficult to know what to say to her this time...she has asked me many times if bobby is in heaven with paddy...she is so confused when i say no.. her little "well where is he?" face is heartbreaking..eventually i had to explain to her that bad people took him from the van, even though she knew in her own little way because she was there when it happend..its so wrong that ive had to discuss with her the bad in this world at such a young age...i think a day in our fairy garden talking about the beauty and the good in this world will be what we both need.....run my bobby run....be back out 2moro..thank u all..patsy xx

HI Patsy Just got in from a dog show so sorry I have not been out looking today. I will be back on the trail again tomorrow. Look at what I said on 8/7 about that man and the yorkie. It never made sense to me that someone would post a found and then say it was his own dog because as you say it was never reported missing. Also he found it in Great Missenden when he lives Manchester and why would he put a tel no to ring? Also he was never available on either phone then all of a sudden he rings you at past midnight. It all sounded a bit far fetched to me.

hi every body..scoured hemel again this morning...no luck..put up a few posters and then headed over towards last sightings of teddy..judy ! it really is a lovely place..water..plenty of space and lots of little hidey places for a hot dog..me and my friend put posters up all around the park..and walked quite far back into some undergrowth... ive promised our boys that one day they will be walking around that lake with their mums...thier spirit friends are on the look out...eyes forver peeled.. thankyou everybody..you really are angels..pats x

Patsy, so sorry that the car boot people did not come up with any more help, that woman was so positive about a little dog, maybe it was not a yorkie? We have been to the the show in aid of the Chiltern Rescue and spent an hour going round and talking to people and giving out flyers. Many people were already aware of Bobby but everyone took flyers and they are taking them to dog clubs, vets and putting them up where they live. We also visited the RSPCA kennels.

well what can i say..thank you just does,nt seem enough..esp too you nik for organizing bobbys reconstruction and the time and effort that you must have put in to make it such a success..whippet and friends for there dedication esp in that heat ...and all those who helped me and my bobby..im sorry that i didnt get back to you all last night..i got in had a bath and fell asleep..the best sleep i have had since my bobby was stolen..was up and out bright and early...alas boot sale produced no real leads..but looking on the bright side more attention..ive run out of flyers now but i will have more done tommorrow...as there has been no recent sightings its very difficult for me to know where to go..although i keep gettin drawn back into the same areas..i always cover the teddy and missy areas so my eyes are forever peeled..fingers crossed for us all...patsy x

I am so sorry about your trip to Battersea. But I know they are strict on their opening times. They were kindness itself when I went there. Why dont you go M4 through earls court and along the embankment and over battersea bridge. Park in the park and walk back. Usually the quickest way I have found. my plans for today were turned upside down when i received a call from battersea say that they had more than a few yorkies..i got there to be told ..sorry were now closed.. a young girl went to ask her superior if i could just veiw the yorkies that were there and if 1 did turn out to be bobby i could go back tommorrow..her superior refused..she didnt even come to see me..i got the call at three.. i wished theyed of said they shut at 4..ive now got to go back 2moro which has set back my plans for tommorow by abt four five hours( helpers know what i mean) thats how long the journey took there and back along the edgware rd..then i accidently drove into the charging zone..so the whole day was a complete waste of time and money..still who knows what 2moro will bring..keep my fingers crossed for all of us and our desperately missed friends ..nik pm you

hi everybody..rushed back from hemel after receiving a call frm a lady saying that another lady had caught a yorksihre terrier on the a1/a41 bypass..the lady that rang me said that the other women had given her details that she was goin to take the yorkie to village pets in potters bar..Its an animal hosptal..she also gave a number that i have rang many times but no answer..i have also rang village vets but was told to ring back in the mornin..i dnt think the receptionist understands how desperate i feel for some sort of news.. I think we need to contact ALL rescue centres all over the place as "these people" travell a long way! Was there a fair in your area at the time bobby was stolen? Nik This is great, like you say someone must have seen something at the market that Saturday. But just an observation -- who listens to Radio Verulam?? I had never heard of it until Jayne told me she was on it last week and then I could not pick it up on any radio had to get it on the net. Perhaps it is just me and it is a popular station?? Asking around among friends if they listen to a local radio station at all it is 3 Counties or Chiltern.

Hi Judy, thank you for posting on Alfies page, my stolen yorkie may 19th last year. I am not too sure what Dee is on about, however I do strongly agree that you should spread the posters out. When Alfie was stolen I went to the library and photo copied telephone books for all areas, they have books for all over the uk, if not they will order them for you. Photo copy vets, rescues, kennels, pet shops, police stations and councils and then do a mass mailing of his poster, also supermarkets, especially asda. Petrol stations too, we all have to eat and we all need petrol! Not too sure whare you live, I live in kent and would love to help anyway I can, even if it just sending out posters etc. Please do let me know what I can do to help Bobby. Justine

Those of you round the Hemel area - he may still be there... he might not... if he is then I think we know who had him, don't we??? Let Bobby go and get him home, please... you know we know who you theives are in that area. If you or someone you know passed through the area and picked up a dog please let us know. Patsone have you contacted surrounding police stations in case someone took him home and reported him to their local police station and not your one? Try all the dog wardens too and the areas gypsy liason officers, both locally and further afield again. If anyone has time to help make these calls, please post here to let Patsone know. Come on folks.... Bobby needs us to get him home.

starting to think bobby may not be in hemel at all..he is a very timid dog and i cant see him surviving two weeks on hes own..i beleive he is with someone if not with the thieves that stole him..my daughter used to tell me that bobby would let her know i was on my way home because he could hear my van a long time before i pulled up..i have driven around the whole of hemel for miles and miles, pulling over and sitting there with my engine running, occasionally reving the engine just in case.. i believe if bobby could here my van he would bark hes head off..he would hear me and i would hear him...i beleive my world is out there..hes just not in hemel.. i thank you all for your support

hi everybody ..just got back from hemel..drove all over for a few hours..i was called by someone 2day who demanded a ?1.000 for bobbys return, or thay would cut hes legs off, they couldnt answer any questions i put to them so i didnt beleive them..i happened to see a passin polce car and i handed my phone to them..the police beleive that whoever phoned doesnt have my bobby either..some people are so cruel....TEDDYS MUM...been puttin posters of teddy up..also 3 sides of my van (colour) i will keep searching.. i have volunteers in hemel 2moro so i will concentrate in kings langley and the canal..good luck all

Text as follows: Dog owners in Hemel are again united in their fight against dog theft following another - this time from a van in Bovingdon. Co-ordinated by national organisation Doglost.co.uk, locals are searching for an eight year old Yorkshire terrier called Bobby. The group scored a huge success in finding six valuable French hounds who were stolen from breeders in Ash ridge and culminated in a raid on a travellers' site in Cherry Tree Lane.

Have just returned from a tour of Hemel and have put up posters in Three Cherry Lane, MfI area and took down outdated "Libby" poster and replaced it with one of Bobby. Walked some of the Nicky line but not too far as I am a bit wimpy about walking in that area on my own. See Jane has some info. am going to try and contact her. My mobile no. is 07749508975. Jackie.

We have looked at the picture again and really it is not what we recognise as a yorkie. The ad says that the owners took it in as they were going back to full time work and they could not keep it, also the dog's name is given as whisky. We have just scouted Cherry Tree again and there were 2 small black dogs and one gsd running around the road, we believe there were others on the site but unable to see them.

Toledo and I went back out this evening and did another sweep of the Boxmoor area for Teddy and on the way we did a tour of Cherry Tree Lane and the Industrial estate looking for Bobby. We would have been there around 6pm and saw nothing. We can help on Sunday if needed.
