Its not Woody its a bog standard liver and white spaniel...microchipped to an address in Teeside. Have chip number so will look into helping this one get back.

...a male, liver with white markings, spaniel has been reported as found yesterday in Catterick Garrison area DL9, North East....well worth checking :)

Very sorry to hear about poor Woody. I will put posters in the vet surgery and pet shop in Kirkby Stephen first thing tomorrow and also alert as many of the shooting community as I can find around here since he looks like a worker.

Have spoken to Woody's owners tonight and it is almost certain that he was STOLEN whilst visiting a relatives property in Richmond North Yorkshire. Woody has visited here before and would know his way back if he had wandered off. His owners live in London and would be extremely grateful for any help with postering for Woody.We need to make this much loved pet TOO HOT TO HANDLE !! His owners have contacted Petlog and he is flagged up with them as STOLEN. The police have also been informed. Hoping for some news of Woody very soon x

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
