- I DO AGREE WITH YOU JOBADGER IT COULD BE THE REACTION OF SOMEONE WHO TRULY LOVED HIS DOG AND WANTED TO GIVE IT A CHANCE. I REALLY HOPE THIS DOG GETS THAT CHANCE OF A NEW HOME.WHEN TIMES GET HARD ITS USUALLY THE DOG WHO SUFFERS BUT PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP.THIS BREED GET BAD PUBLICITY, OFTEN NOT THE DOGS FAULT, AND SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE TO STOP INDISCRIMINATE BREEDING. THE ONES TO SUFFER ARE THE POOR INNOCENT DOGS. I HOPE DIESEL CAN FIND A LOVELY NEW HOME.

- They bothered to attach a note- it may have taken a great deal of courage. We don't know the circumstances - perhaps they'd rung rescues and they couldn't help - some are absolutely inundated - have a look at how many staffies are put down on the prodogs sites.3 out of 10 staffy puppies will not live to see their 1st birthday.45% of the rest won't reach their 3rd birthday.
In the UK one dog every minute is put to sleep - 90% are staffies or staffy cross puppies.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
